I can't do nothing about it and it's my fault for trusting stupid ponzi cryptodouble scammer, but now all my GB coins are staking in his wallet.

Sorry dev, when will we know who the new dev is? I thought we had a say in this decision. Either way, I think it's important for everyone that has invested into GB to know the name of the new dev.

Here is our update:
We have really enjoyed working on GreenBacks, and have provided the community everything this coin needs for a solid infrastructure:
Wallet
Mobile Wallet
Web Wallet
Website
Crowdfunding Platform
Press Releases
At this point though, both our head developer and myself, the head marketer, just don't have time to commit to the coin. We both have taken on full time jobs with companies, and this project isn't getting the support it needs. Rather than watch it continue to lose support, we hoping to get it back up and running. So what we will do is an interview process to determine a new individual (developer) or team, to take over the coin completely. The community will decide on who they want to take it over, and we will host voting once we have entries.

We will allow the community to evaluate these, as well as us, and then we will open a survey. The Application period will last until Sunday 00:00 UTC. If we do not receive any applications then we aren't sure what will happen to GreenBacks, but we do expect this to be a way to rejuvenate the coin. We want people to bring in new ideas to the coin, and discuss those ideas in the plan. We're looking forward to seeing who applies.

WOW! Online wallet is absolutely fantastic, even if I use it from my smartphone and/or tablet! Very easy to use, great UI... I love it! In a bit I'm gonna test the android app also, will report my experience later on. Thanks for your efforts and keep up the good work!!!

why price now ~200s like other useles coins ? Any rise or news in future? I bought some mine when cost 1000s but price down and down.
It seems like no Altcoin can experience a steady rise. Even Bitcoin is going through 1 day pumps and then back to downtrend. Total Bitcoin volume on Bittrex is falling everyday, and is around ~400btc, with a total volume of that level. It is apparent no one is trading alts right now. It's a tough time for cryptos.
During tough times innovation is born. If Greenbacks survives now, the future for this coin can be very interesting IMO. Are there any plans to launch a proper online gamesite?

IMO this coin has great potential, all it needs is some time, attention and interesting projects.

I have been interested in GB for a while, this kind of news/update is great. As a cryptocoin newbie I often check out cryptomining-blog. To reach a bigger, specific group of people it could possibly add some extra boost to get something posted here as well?
