ICO - when to take profit?
by
HassaanAbdeen
on 15/05/2018, 17:22:51 UTC
I’ve been in the Crypto market for sometime and have been successfully trading/Swinging. However, back in February for the first time I participated in an ICO.

The coin has been listed this month on four unpopular of exchanges: IDEX, HitBTC, Stocks.Exchange and SistemKoin where the price is already 300% of the ICO price in a week time.

I’m not in need to cash out, but I’m talking strategy here. And I’m seeking advice from the ICO experts here:
1) clearly it was a successful ICO, for a start. But how high do you wait the price to go before cashing out?
2) is it wise to wait first for it to hit more popular exchanges like Poloniex, KuCoin, Cryptopia... etc before cashing out?

In other words, is your trigger associated with price, exchange or timeframe?

Thank you in advance.

ENLIGHTEN ME please

How could Dorado be in business for years, incorporated in Switzerland and across six countries (one of which is Iran that bans drones), yet the domain name was purchased on Jan 15th, 2018?!!!

I don’t know how to upload screen shots here, maybe I don’t have the privilege yet.

As for FoodOutGroup, it’s registered on Feb 19, 2017 with thousands of restaurants, yet only three listed as customer feedback.

Re: IOTA

Week with great news in iota , when wallet stable , its the greatest project in cryptocurrencies

I got onboard just yesterday. And I’m learning much about IOTA still. What drove me to it was mainly this article regarding BOSCH, Volkswagen, Orange and Samsung:
https://ethereumworldnews.com/iota-recommended-long-term-investment

However,
1) to my surprise I paid the price of what IOTA was worth one month ago. In other words, IOTA missed the big wave that took place end of 2017. It just had a small jump in price then got back to where it was, contrary to reputed AltCoins trend.
2) Add to that looking back in history, I see the price made very little improvement since its launch.
3) I found comments from disappointed ex-supporters in IOTA.
4) Add to that negative recent reviews on social media about the team behind IOTA not being able to deliver, and the system isn’t working for those who tested it; i.e. I refer here to M.I.T.

Can someone enlighten me if I’m missing something, or am I just lucky to get onboard at this price/time?

Thank you in advance.

Haha so much plays in so many different ways. When new money is coming I'm not afraid.I use to read what Bloomberg say and other ''big'' players in their own world, but not anymore. We are creating our world with crypto. Yes money from ''big'' players are inside crypto too, but I think that they can't control it in the way they would like it.

The audit firm quit two days ago, the government now is in the picture. That’s not to be taken lightly.

The governements had a big hand this month all over the world on exchanges and Fiat. And BTC prices speak volumes along with blooded AltCoins.

There are no doubts: it is a good project, but I think that an increase of x100 is very difficult.
IHMO I agree with the vision of Palm Beach Group, they predict a price of 5$: http://docdro.id/1yULwYE

Thank you and to the OP for sharing the links. I’m heavily invested in CND.

WARNING

I just did image reverse search for BMBChain team... turned out the pictures used are from GettyImages. Clearly BNB is a scam.

I sold my coins just now for 60% loss on CoinEgg. Be warned... I hope nobody else falls for them.

XRP is in a bearish trend. I expect it’ll hit 0.6 before resuming upwards. No I’m not bashing here XRP. 40% of my portfolio is in XRP.

It’s a long term hold. But for now, it has increased in price more than its true market value.

My 2 cents...

I’m sure most of you heard about Weiss Cryptocurrency Ratings due to start on Jan 24th. It’s all over the news.

The on,y thing I failed to find is where these ratings will be published and how can I get a hold on it the second it gets released. The official website https://weissratings.com doesn’t address this.

Any advice how to get alert notifications?

Thank you in advance.

Thank you OP for the detailed clarification.

CoinEgg did the same with IFC and XLM. I ended up liquidating my coins to BTC in loss to salvage what remained after the dump and moved all out to Binance.

PS In light of your thorough post, I’m cancelling my HITBTC account that’s been pending verification for a while now.

IFC made a successful landing on the Korean exchange and opened the IFC-BTC and IFC-KRM transactions at the same time

https://www.funcoin.co.kr

I abandoned ship two days ago and sold my IFC due to the following:
1) CoinEgg denying withdrawals in IFC
2) CoolCoin blocking authorization of accounts from countries not listed on their site.
3) the nicknamed Bot on Telegram who was very disrespectful.

Good luck to you guys... wish you the best.

Love your team spirit.

It’s a penny AltCoin / token that I loaded earlier this year. It’s trading on CoinEgg only since late 2017.

I’m trying to find a comminutity online holding BMB who speak English to discuss it here. Drop a line here if you’re on board.

Re: WTB 4k USD to 8k ETH through Freelancer.com willing to pay $500 to get this done
by

Why not use a trusted escrow on this forum?

"Willing to pay $500" for using an external escrow service makes this purchase offer look suspicious.

Using a trusted escrow on this forum makes the transaction less complicated and far more transparent. External escrow services are prone to risks when cryptocurrencies are being traded.

The offer of $500 to use an external escrow and the new account with just 1 post are red flags.

Excuse my ignorance, where are the trusted Escrows listed?

Thank you in advance.

Re: Lowest fees from fiat to crypto
by

on 17/01/2018, 19:08:31 UTC
I have always bought my way into crypto though Coinbase, but I am starting to get tired of the fees. Do you know any cheaper places than coinbase that you have used yourself?

I usually use CEX.IO they’re very quick with credit card transactions to BTC and ETH but I end up being charged about 20% to 25% markup including fees.

I tried PayPis at times too, but it’s the same as CEX.IO in terms of overall cost.

I wish I could find an exchange that charges reasonable amounts for Fiat to Crypto. CoinBase is not an option for me as it doesn’t accept transactions from the Middle East.

I cannot withdraw my ifc from eggcoin.com , anybody knows why

XLM and IFC can’t be withdrawn from CoinEgg. I’m in the same boat with you. CoinEgg says it’s temporarilly till the gateway gets secured as per their announcement board dated months ago.

50% retracement from the high, is the party over for infinicoin?

Check the month chart, it’s a very low volume. I wouldn’t say so.

Re: Q- XRP Toast Wallet to CoinEgg
by
HassaanAbdeen
on 09/01/2018, 10:30:01 UTC
Hello,

I've put xrp to coinegg just by the wallet adress. But from CEX.IO, not from toastwallet.

I have other problem with coinegg: my withdraw of xrp to toast wallet is not approve by the site for 20 hours.

As per Toast Wallet, they have problems sending XRP from their wallet. Every time I try to withdraw I get an error. So I gave up and decided not to touch my XRP for long term investment.

Transferring XRP without tag number is risky, I wouldn’t do it. You’re lucky it went through.

I never tried withdrawing from CoinEgg and coin yet. I don’t trade XRP there. But still your statement is alarming. Kindly keep us posted.

Excuse my ignorance gentlemen, but why is the trading volume for XLM is so low?

Is it because there are very few coins in the market for trading or is it because traders are holding XLM and not tempted to sell?

Thank you in advance.

Hmm. I can’t use coolcoins (or coolegg) due to my nationality.
I’m happy to trade.. or else I guess I’ll have to wait for another exchange to open   Embarrassed

You can use CoinEgg even if your nationality is not listed on the drop down menu. Just choose any nationality and submit the document.

You’ll get verified almost instantly.

It worked for me.
