Re: Effects of ICO ban in China

China only prevented people and organizations from laundering and scammers. Since ICOs are established and China really let ICOs in their country, I think the best way to do is investigate those who are scammers and let them outside the organizations. You cannot prevent or stop people in using or investing in alt coins. There are many alt coins that people have trusted for years.
By doing an investigation about who really are the scammers, I think that would be a long time progress to do since they need not to just go make an investigation, they also need to be inside that organization to be able to identify if that specific organization is not doing what it suppose to do.

That is true that many altcoins have already the trust of these people but since some of the ICOs are just fake demands or something, so still there are things that needs to consider.

There are still tell tale signs of a scam that you can generally follow, stuff like no withdrawals, super high % rewards, ico, and shotty looking websites

Their ban was powerful, made bitcoin dumped to 3000 usd, but now it is 3700 usd again. They can't prevent the future.
Of course the Bitcoin market will not be collapsed by Chinese people and I'm sure if China disappeared then the cryptoucurrency market will probably be more stable and will have a good future development path.
They don't have all of bitcoins, that's why their ban just temporarily affecting the market, they're now barely have capital more than 20% of total supply, all the money went to many countries with loose rules.
this ban also bring negative and positive affect to china themselves.
by this i'd say, bitcoin is a top notch future currency.
It's more of a group decision that they have in the higher courts. China can't remove the ico's from the people because there's ways around it their laws.

Read this and ask yourself whether or not this piece of shit country wouldn't go to extreme lenghts to enfore its bans
http://nypost.com/2016/01/03/how-chinas-pregnancy-police-brutally-enforced-the-one-child-policy/

Now i'm not saying this ban is problematic in the long run, because cryptos cannot be stopped, but saying that people will find ways around laws is a little shortsighted when talking about a country that bans and fights everything it doesn't like, controls or understands

shortsighted? people can already easily get around the great firewall of china with a vpn no problem, yet you act as if people will have more problems using bitcoin, ok yeah sure

its true bitcoin had a great power in cryptocurrency. and i think china cant ban ico forever cause china need blockchain in their economy and this is the revolution technology that need to be apply to all things in our live especially in business. so i believe there will be time where all of people understand blockchain and apperciate cryptocurrency as trade item.

I dont know man, china even bans winnie the pooh just because somebody said the minister looked like him lol

I think this is temporary ban, governments always thing in a different way. When China put a suitable monitoring and taxing low, they might allow ICOs again.

yes and what i really think about this ban is that i think this is just some kind of a drama. (i hope so)
maybe they are wanting to make panic sell then buy at the bottom.
maybe they dont want people use bitcoin in their country anymore. that make people ez move their money out of china

good, china is stupid communist state th at supports north korea. everything made in china is crap. who cares about them

The thing you're writing on is made in China. Most your clothing is also made in China. Hell, who knows what else you own is made in China, maybe even most parts of the house you live in. You know what people say, don't shit where you eat.

well then no wonder everything i use is shit, made in china. hopefully trump can stop companies using china and start having american made things, even if it costs 10% more

Yeah it's too bad that China band ico. Already market crash one time. I think end of the month crypto market will crash again. But it's happening.  We believe that crypto rise again in near by future.

who cares, china is stupid

i think they preventing people from money laundering, causing big threat to the ico's, not totally banned but maybe when time's come it slowly back to normal. and i think they filtering something.

banning bitcoin exchanges is not the right way, its like banning the 99% because of what the 1% did

We've certainly had a nice bounceback so far... I think it's back up from here now that the bad news has passed.  Unless of course another dark cloud comes along.

September 30th exchange closing, and one of these days we'll get an announcement about the future after closing them. Either we'll dip down again and go up in a few months, or we'll go up

Are we going to experience another crunch? I thought the heat is over and everything will move smoothly. why should we expect another pull back?

I would only expect more dips if china has any more new. At this point, it's probably clear skies for a while and perhaps $5k soon

Dimecoin has a great potential to grow, only the question is who of you has invested in it how much money?

The cheapest you can buy it on

https://www.cryptopia.co.nz/Exchange/?market=DIME_LTC

It will not be so cheap for a long time.

I got $20 worth just to try it out, testing the wallet and such

Cryptopia has indeed increased their fees a lot lately, it will cost us around 10 BTC to get listed there.

Novaexchange has their ETH wallets in maintenance at the moment. We have inquired about how long until we can list ERC-20 tokens again and are waiting for a reply from them.

We're currently undergoing procedures for becoming compliant with the HitBTC listing requirements and we are also applying for EtherDelta very soon.

Still can't register on nova right now though. and 10btc to get listed on an exchange??? $40,000 just to list?!?!?

it's amazing that Bitcoin Cash is still #3 on Coinmarketcap. I would have thought #30 or #300 by now, honestly

To get down to #30 the price needs to drop to almost $14 and to get to #300 it would have to drop to ~$0.20 if it dropped right down to $50 as some have predicted (no names) then it would only drop to around #15 it would need to drop to ~$85 just to not be included within the top 10

$14 and $0.20 really both sound too high to me

Bitcoin Cash needs to just die. Absorb its market cap back into bitcoin and quit being the shitcoin that it is

Are high fees a part of this healthy network dynamic from which perspective you have declared the hash/capability of said mystery miners to be suspect?

Do you support or have interest in low fees on the (shorter) SegWit chain?  For anyone, I would be curious to know your interest on high vs low fees.

Please disclose for all to see.

wtf so he actually believes we need to give miners more money?

He is the miner and one who pushed this so what do you think just looking for the best way to maximise profits

how can anybody see this tweet and not think this is a blatant agenda for bitcoin cash. It's a selfish incentivized miner exploiting fee complaints to fork bitcoin

Thanks for the kind words guys! We are really heating up in the space with the ICO only 7 days away.

It's true that you're targeting America only? When I invest in an ICO I do it for long term and to eventually use tokens, if you're not targeting Europe also I'll have no interests Sad

Why not use it for global? I think it shouldn't be too hard to be global.
