You have to install the trezor back-end full node as well and have that connect to the Bitcoin Core full node ... so need to run two full nodes to support one wallet locally ...ok, nah.

You only need blockbook which apparently uses and maintains its own instance of Bitcoin Core, so you don't need to run two full nodes. I asked on their Telegram channel if it was possible to connect an exiting Bitcoin Core instance to blockbook and I got "Yes" without any more details. This config file might be worth taking a look at.

Still, the disk and memory requirements for this setup are enormous.

The combination of Trezor + Electrum + Electrum Personal Server + Bitcoind + Tor works better, IMHO.

The info is BULLSHIT.

I no way the diameter of COVID-19 is 500 micrometers. You would see it with naked eye.

A mining flower and a couple of Casascius coins. With a USB fan that is quite effective without making much noise.

What kind of Casascius coin it is? Seems thicker than all I've seen so far ...

Yesterday I finished my second mining rig. While my first was built in neat black case, this time I wanted to improve airflow and chose foldable plastic crate as the case. Setting it up was very easy, many wiring options, looks nice, its portable! and the airflow is almost perfect.

The motherboard is MSI 790FX-GD70 with 4x PCie-16, 3x Sappire 5380 Xtreme inserted. Currently I am using linuxcoin booted from USB stick. Note the white foam blocks (half an inch wide) which spread two cards a bit.

I have very good experience with Arctic F12 Pro coolers. They are cheap, silent and have a large push of air. However, can be mounted only in single direction, thats why the are outside of the boxes. Dangerous! Keep fingers out!

I still have to experiment what fan placement is the best. Whether current placement, both above, or both pushing air from opposite sides.

a bunch of 5870 cards in DC3, to be deployed soon... i.e. this rig is a work in progress  Grin

OMG! That's why I can't get any of those! Smiley

50x 5870, if I count properly ~ 21 GH/sec .. nice, man!
My small rig feels frightened ..

These are the Sapphire 5830 Extreme? Have you tried to push outer cards more out of the center one? Like, sticking 5 mm spreader between 1-2 and 2-3 ?

I plan to build exactly the same 3x5830 configuration and have similar worries about heat issues.

Republic of Georgia Exempts Cryptocurrencies From Value-Added Tax

https://cointelegraph.com/news/republic-of-georgia-exempts-cryptocurrencies-from-value-added-tax

"With the introduction of the bill, residents of the country can exchange cryptocurrencies for fiat currency without the transaction being subjected to VAT. "

Ok, who wants to move to Tbilissi ?

Allmost all reasonable countries do not impose VAT on cryptocurrencies.

Alright, so it's clear that bitcoins future trading at CME will be rolling out in approximately 3 hours and 5 minutes from now. Things are going to get interesting, I don't know why but I'm sensing $22k-$25k within first couple of hours. CBOE is nothing like CME, CME has a much larger volume than CBOE. So we can go more wilder than before.

http://www.cmegroup.com/trading/equity-index/us-index/bitcoin_contract_specifications.html

I read that message as they say TODAY that trading will start TOMORROW.

Can i write  my seed words wnen i offline or no need to worry ?

do not type the seed into any device. write it with a pen on paper. several times. store at different locations and NOT where your trezor is stored.

Note that the seed itself is sufficient to steal all your bitcoins. Storing it away from trezor does not help.

It will be interesting to see which dormant BTC addresses move to sell their Bcash tokens.

Will give a better idea of which addresses are dead and which are just hodling.

Yeah, can't wait till Satoshi starts to sell his BCH pile.

Hey is it possible to save etc on the trezor?
The Trezor is on a battery or is he recharchebel?
How long one battery will stay alive.

It is USB powered, does not require any battery.

And one last question.
If I loose my 12 word seed but still have my trezor and it gets damaged,
can i recover the phrase from the damaged trezor by reading the seed out of
the trezor directly?

Obviously, NO.
