It has been steady around 200-210 for a while. Today it dipped down to mid 180s while BTC was rising. Now it's around 190, so lost 10-20 since yesterday.
I think the only reason doge stays at a reasonable rate is only due to the big community, which no other coin has. Without that community doge would be much lower by now, so it will be interesting to see how much stamina the community can sustain.

This doesn't prove its not a ponzi scheme lol. Even if it doubles 1,000,000 DOGE it can still be a ponzi scheme. In a ponzi scheme the guy that runs it pays the previous investor with the money of the next. So it can look real for a while. If you actually read the wikipedia entry you will understand. The actual story of Charles Ponzi is extremely hilarious, I suggest reading that aswell. You are gonna be LOL THIS GUY at the end.

Why is it important to update?
So you do not lose access to your coins.
Only important if you are using your coins all day long. I have one wallet i do not use (long hold wallet) which is in cold storage for two months now so no updating for this one, my other wallet though is updated
