There are only 7 million dash coins mined and 15 millions more to mine so now is the good time to start mining dash right? what can I expect to earn with 500 MH/s daily? I mean in dash not in USD or BTC.

Best to check for answers here : https://www.dash.org/forum/topic/mining.3/

2 halving in this time, its a good chance, but If you want earn money, buy dahs, eth and maid too  Roll Eyes

With altcoin trading there is no trading skills involved. You only need some luck. Only the big boys behind these coins know what will happen and manipulate the price in their favor. That's why you should keep holding all your Bitcoins for the long term. There is much room for potential growth.

Like you don't need a gun to kill an ant, you don't need bitcoin to buy your damned coffee. Bitcoin is for gentlemen's transactions. Capisc?

There are those who would say this to you:

Pay up or use PayPal.

I am so sick reading stuff like this over and over. This kind of elitist thinking is very dangerous imho.
The Whitepaper says "A peer to peer cash" system. As long as lightning network and co are not production ready
the coffee goes in the blockchain - deal with it.

Also the 7$/TX theoretical cost ist retarded, this is mostly because the 1MB blocklimit, if we would raise it to say 10MB
it would go down to 0,70$/TX and so on. ( of course this shit is inefficient, but it makes sooo much economic sense wtf )

I know decentralization above everything blabla, but I think we have to make a tradeoff here, most fullnodes are servers or on cable
connections anyway. Those machines don't care much if the blocksize is 1, 2, 4 or 8 MB... They run anyway, top 5 fullnode networks:

Code:
1 OVH SAS 366 (6.39%)
2 Comcast Cable Communications, Inc. 343 (5.99%)
3 Hetzner Online GmbH 228 (3.98%)
4 Amazon.com, Inc. 218 (3.81%)
5 Hetzner Online AG RZ 147 (2.57%)

The problem is from miners, they dont accept it, and the miners control bitcoin...

Re: Running Electrum Server ?

In the meantime, i've found that the tutorial here works just fine:

https://github.com/spesmilo/electrum-server/blob/master/HOWTO.md

If you follow it, you end up with a fully functional electrum server  Grin
I have a vps, what i need? 1gb ram? x gb? transfer size?

I'm not an expert on this... I followed the complete how-to on a clean debian box (8 XEON cores, 16Gb RAM). When i look at my server, it's load is around 0.2, and about 2,5 Gb memory was used... So i guess you can run an electrum server on a VPS, given that you have some swap space. Altough, during the loading fase where you install bitcoind and load the blockchain, a sufficient amount of processing power and ram might speed things up Wink
Thanks!
Im going to try it this weekend Wink

i really didnt think we'd see a full retarce so soon!

what if we really are >32,000 in < 2 years  Shocked

no, but 5000$ is quite likely

then what?

i think we'll see 1000-5000 for a year or 2 and bam 32,000 crash down to 10,000 bubble of the year 2017

by 2020, we're back at 32,000 heading for 100,000.

if bitcoin is very successful we're taking ~1million a coin no joke.
haha
Please... wake up, too dreams
