Typically, animal shelters are under resourced and under financed; relying heavily on donations and the volunteer efforts to assist animals.
This is where Woof Coin steps in. As avid lovers of dogs, we wanted to make a difference. Using the power of Proof of Work mining, weâve created a coin where miners are contributing to the donation of money to animal welfare shelters. These shelters initially include the ASPCA who already have a cryptocurrency donation mechanism but with intention to expand to the RSPCA and other organizations suggested by the community.
Our aim is to put animals first and we intend on developing ongoing relationships with pet shelters to help adoption.

if your consideration is live times, you should choose the newest card such as 1080ti or Vega, but previous gen such as rx 400/500 series, 1070 can be on your alternative list. 1 more important is, you need a card that has more than 4 GB vram.
Do you believe that 8gb cards will be needed as early as 2018? I was not considering it.No not at all, 4GB vram will last until around April 2019.

Yeah, my bad, looks like many x11 coins (like Dash) removed the "getwork" part from the wallets some time ago. Simple solo-mining won't work then anymore, if you want to mine alone then I suppose you'll have to start a stratum pool for yourself.Damn I thought that may end up being the only option.

What sense to buy RX 570 for the price of $ 260? AMD VEGA the price is now about $ 500. Is a promising new GPU. Performs one of VEGA equal to two RX. Plus, the savings from the periphery. It seems to me that it's time to forget about what you were able to mine bitcoins on GPU... RX5 series.
I'd say $260+-, I'm from South Africa and most here are around R4200-R4500 currently, which is around 290-340 dollars.
I can't seen to find anything relating to solo mining X11 that is recent.
I saw Dash back in 2015 couldn't even be solo mined anymore... V12, not sure about now.
Most of the solo mining threads I've seen are all GPU related, not ASIC.

As easy as any other coin, provided you have enough hashpower. Just run the wallet, put it into the server mode and point your miners at it. Can't think of anything special about x11 coins that would make them somehow unique in terms of solo mining.

Yup as the first reply said, if you've got a Repeater setup already with a single 10/100 port, then just buy yourself a 8 port switch and you'll be good to go, plug and play.
I say 8 port because 1 of those ports will be the cable which connects to your Repeater, leaving you with 7 for miners.
