Re: Bitcoin as Ransom
by

I think this is not possible because how would the kidnapper know that I am a member of a bitcoin community or that I am holding a bitcoin when I am not identifiable in my account. And also, it I cannot find someone who can exchange his bitcoins with mine for a big amount so I think this is not possible. Lastly, why wouldn’t the kidnapper like a true money anyway?

Re: Is bribing via bitcoin a good idea?
by

Bribing is a bad idea itself, the act of bribing can put you in more mess than you expect, just make sure you always do the right thing and have no need to bribe anyone.

Re: If i have 10 Bitcoin I can do this

I think no, 10 btc is still a little amount and wont entitles you to be called whale.  a whale is holding 100 btc or more and they can manipulate the entire market not just bitcoin because they also  want to earn extra profit even if there are friggin rich already. though its up to you, if you want to call yourself a whale then go, no one will ever care about it.

Re: Bitcoin won't live to see the next 10 years
by
Henry27
on 18/12/2017, 14:22:05 UTC
It sure will and even further due to the consistent growth in market volumes and value. There's nothing stopping bitcoin at the moment as we all can see and so i don't se any reason why it will  not live to see many more years ahead of us. Even if a rival coin (altcoin) with a different technology should emerge on the scene it will take a long time  for it to dethrone bitcoin.

Re: Bitcoin Vs Ethereum
by

In my mind I treat them as two very different things. I invest in BTC as for me it's a long-term store of wealth and I invest in Ethereum because I think it could possibly be the backbone of web 3.0 and that people will be using it without even realising on various different applications.

Re: can states buy all bitcoin?

If that would happen, they will surely benefit on that set up , on that ownership. but it might be hard for us to engange more in trading of bitcoin since it might increase the buying price of each coin which will not be beneficial for us. They will have the power to fluctuate the price of the bitcoin since the ownership was on their part. This was just my opinion.

Re: Korea To Tax Bitcoin Use

I think if this come true, it will be a badly strike to bitcoin in a short term, not only Korea has a huge trading volume but also other countries will follow it, but the good news is that according to the history, it may hardly come true or take a long time to push this regulate.

Bitcoin will continue unstoppable and this is due to its greater popularity, where investments are greater. bitcoin has resumed its upward trend and is breaking new historical ceilings and technical resistance despite the investor flight that decided to switch to BCC due to the rejection of segwit2x. now to expect that it will happen in December with the appearance of bitcoin silver.

Re: How to kill Bitcoin?
by

Why do you want to kill bitcoin, whereas many side positions of bitcoin can benefit you. I hope you change this kind of thinking, because maybe you are disappointed. Let's try to get back to have the spirit to mine in bitcoin. I myself was given a lot by bitcoin and this made my financial life change for the better.

I think there is no free bitcoins. You have to work hard in order to earn your bitcoin. You can earn it by first increasing your activity here in the forum and get a higher rank then join some campaigns such as signature campaigns and other media campaigns.

Re: Why should people invest in bitcoin?
by

on 18/12/2017, 04:47:47 UTC
The reason is very simple. That's profit. Maybe you don't need to use Bitcoin for daily payment because it is unpopular. But, look at the profit it can give to you. It's a kind of asset.

Re: So Bitcoin is better than Gold?
by
Henry27
on 18/12/2017, 04:19:08 UTC
Bitcoin is much better in several approaches. The only dilemma, that it is not so steady, but in prolonged terms it displays monster expansion, which gold will never ever see yet again.

Many people lost their Bitcoin wallets addresses even before they died. Smart people will leave their addresses to their child, or they'll just add it to the boquest.

Re: What are some disadvantages of BTC?
by
Henry27
on 18/12/2017, 03:50:05 UTC
Bitcoin is still on the development stage. It is not known by all places in the world. Therefore, there are just a small number of stores that accept Bitcoin. Using Bitcoin has a limit. And since Bitcoin is a digital currency, Bitcoin is prone to hacking and data corruption.

Re: Major benefit of bitcoin?
by
Henry27
on 18/12/2017, 03:43:11 UTC
For me, the biggest benefit of Bitcoin is the ability to provide better user experience while transferring the funds from one place to another. It includes a better network, huge community, benefits out of transaction costs and tremendous mutual trust. Bitcoin might have received the advantage of being the first player in the crypto industry but sustainable growth in terms of price, user base and world's positive perception has proved that Bitcoin is different than the rest.

Re: when is the right time to invest on bitcoin
by
Henry27
on 17/12/2017, 18:12:20 UTC
When bitcoines value goes down, it's the perfect time to invest in it. But as for my opinion you never know when it's values going to down and when it's going to up. But in few days bitcoin us going up instead of down do either you wait for it to or just buy now cause it's value is going up again and again.
