Re: What do You think about YFI ?

It would be very easy to manipulate the coin because the supply is quite low and as it seems only few persons holds a substantial amount of the tokens. The value could easily drop if these persons choose to cash out.

This is crazy, I never met anyone who got even 10% of your reward. Uniswap has made you a millionaire and that's awesome. It's also a good thing to know you intend giving out 10% to charity, it is a nice move. I do wish we have more opportunities like this in this space.

Re: pls what is difference between TRC-20 and ERC -20 USDT wallet address
by

USDT are supported in different blockchain. Some exchange support ERC20, TRC20 and a third one, I can't recall presently. The ERC20 is USDT on the ethereum network, it has the same address as ethereum. The TRC20, is on the TRON blockchain, it has the same wallet like Tron.

Re: How can we convince those countries that see crypto as illegal?
by
Henrytrust
on 19/09/2020, 09:30:02 UTC
In my opinion, the best way to convince other countries about cryptocurrency is to put cryptocurrency on a positive light. I believe the reason why these countries make cry illegal is because of their intention to protect their citizens. When cryptocurrency is seen as a new world order, they will have no choice than join the movement.

Re: Wyoming gave permission for their first Crypto bank. World is Adopting crypto?

This is great news. America has set the ball rolling and this would be instrumental to the mass adoption of cryptocurrency. I know that many other countries would consider allowing cryptocurrency banks in their jurisdictions and before long cryptocurrency would gain the needed popularity.

Re: ETH's fees on "De-Fi" platforms are ridiculously high
by
Henrytrust
on 16/09/2020, 15:35:45 UTC
I learnt that the reason we've had the gas fee escalated to this point is because of Defi projects. Yield farming which is a product of decentralized finance has increased the number of transactions in the ethereum blockchain and since the blockchain is congested, higher gas fee becomes the order of the day.

Re: Are you sure crypto is the future currency?

More countries are beginning to understand the benefits of cryptocurrency and several have keyed into it. The level of awareness is much more and in no distant time some countries may decide to include a cryptocurrency as legal tender. I know several individuals and businesses are already accepting cryptocurrency as a means of payment.

Re: Is Bitcoin Cash A Better Crypto To Invest?
by
Henrytrust
on 16/09/2020, 15:26:39 UTC
I'll rather invest in ethereum, than bitcoin cash, this is a personal choice because I know ethereum is more in demand than bitcoin cash and with the launch of the ethereum 2.0, there would be more positive movement in the value of ethereum.

I read through the posts and links on the thread and it's been very educative. Decentralized finance may become more pronounced in the future, if the loop holes are worked upon. I got to know about yield farming and the various platforms that could serve in this capacity. Yield farming can only be enjoyed by whales.

Re: What's your HODL and favorite project
by
Henrytrust
on 15/09/2020, 10:17:47 UTC
There are several projects that I consider to be a good hodl. My new found love is the Burency BUY token. It complete ICO around last month and after the tokensales, the token has listed on over four major exchanges, including Kucoin and bitmart exchange. The BUY token was sold for $0.07 during ICO, but it's trading at over $1 presently. I consider the project very promising because in less than a month, they've achieved so much as it relates to listing and the Burency exchange was launched few days ago.

Re: Another DeFi exit scam
by

With the prevalence of Defi exit scam, I don't see Defi exit scam as a big deal. Most loyal Defi investors have been scammed by one or several Defi projects making Defi projects to be twice as risky. There's no doubt that the returns from Defi projects could be worth the hussle, but the risk is on the increase.

Re: Buying a private jet with Bitcoin?

It's good, but not the best example of Bitcoin adoption. I'd like to be able to buy food with Bitcoin in a nearest supermarket.

That would be possible very soon. Bitcoin adoption has grown over the years and as we can see some companies accept bitcoin as a means of payment. More companies and businesses are getting acquainted with Bitcoin and they may soon include bitcoin as an option for payment.

It's impossible to know the best time to buy bitcoin, so it's best to buy ones you're ready. Waiting for the prices to drop may be disastrous. Bitcoin has traded far above $11,000 this period and as it seems the value has a correction and could be getting set for another flight.

Re: CMC: Top DeFi Tokens by Market Capitalization
by

on 14/09/2020, 11:06:05 UTC
I must confess that the innovation is commendable. The coin market cap has been refurbished after its purchase by binance and more beneficial attributes have been added. I heard that there's even an opportunity to earn some tokens which is trading at binance from the coin market cap and that could serve as an attraction to get more people involved in the cryptocurrency industry.

Re: Does Name really matter in crypto?
by
Henrytrust
on 14/09/2020, 11:01:29 UTC
I doubt if name is a prerequisite for the success of a project. In my opinion, the major consideration should be the project development and dexterity of the team towards accomplishments of more results. There are projects in the past that their names were hilarious, some others were weird, but it didn't really make any impact.

I have a positive feeling about DEFI acting as a stimuli for the next substantial bull run. I recall in 2017, we had the ICO hype and several people got into the space to benefit from the opportunity which had a huge impact on the coin market capitalisation. This year has brought different activities which could serve as a catalyst, the ethereum 2.0, bitcoin halving, several ponzi schemes using smart contracts, the Defi hypes and others.

Re: I like to collect the token

I I believe the ultimate aim is to earn and have sufficient fiat to take care of one's bills. It would be out of place for one to have several valid tokens in the wallet and broke. One has to make provision for the needed fiat to keep one going. No doubt, some tokens could be set aside for investment purpose.

Re: DEFI begin new trending or end soon?
by
Henrytrust
on 11/09/2020, 07:59:06 UTC
Defi tokens have been trending for a couple of months now and I feel the heat would still be around for a while before cooling off. We've experienced a number of exit scam and yield farming seems to be the trending thing in the space. So much pumps and dumps are being recycled and bugs on tokens are ripping investors. People should be getting tired of this hypes.

I'll love to know more about this polkadot tokens that is getting more recognition in the cryptocurrency market. I noticed that we have both old and new dot tokens trading in some exchange. I really don't understand how come such a new project is having multiple coin. I only hope that the project would not end up being scam like several others we've seen lately.

Re: Be careful with crypto news (DEFI with Y)!!

The number of scam projects emerging from Defi is alarming. I was amazed seeing the list of cryptocurrencies that were pumped and more persons are rushing to join the pump in order to get more out of the cryptocurrency hype. This Defi trend reminds me of ICO's trend we had in 2017 and I'm positive because more people are getting into the space.
