Re: Hold out or sell Bitcoin?

With the price starting to creep up again do you think it's a good time to start selling some of my investments or do you think it's worth holding on for a while longer?

We all know how temperamental the market can be but do you think this is just a short term spike?
No one knows the future of the currency price change, if you think now is to sell some of your investment COINS, so believe in yourself feeling, sell COINS, someone may have different views, but it requires you to make a choice

Re: What if bitcoin crashes?
by

What do you think would happen to the rest of the currencies if for some reason bitcoin were to crash and the price dropped to 0?
If the price of a bitcoin crash goes to zero, then I think the price of the other altcoins will be 0. All cryptocurrencies will die. But I don't think that's going to happen, and now all of the cryptocurrencies are doing very well.

Re: Crime funded by bitcoin
by

Since Bitcoin was ever released, I've thought of the possibility of this. Will crimes be easily funded now due to bitcoin and it's anonymity? How do you think the authorities will combat this? Will this lead to a decline in the price of bitcoin? I've had this on my mind for a while now and I would like to hear your guys opinions.
Yes, there are a number of criminals who use bitcoin, which is believed to lead to a rise in crime, so many countries ban it. But I don't think so. Bitcoin has little to do with crime.

Re: Why Media is negative about Bitcoin?
by
HiramMayBill
on 19/02/2018, 06:02:30 UTC
Whenever a government announces to regulate bitcoin or cryptocurrency or whenever BTC price is in downfall, most of the media start to warn everyone not purchase or invest in Bitcoins.
https://www.bitex.in/a-class-of-indian-media-unnecessarily-damaging-bitcoin-reputation/

What is the reason for doing this? Do they intentionally do this so that even they can invest in Bitcoin and make some profit?

Traditional media are controlled by the national government, and their views on bitcoin are related to the country's attitude towards bitcoin, and they are spokespersons for the country.

Re: Will ETH beat BTC someday?

Is there any chance that Ethereum will cost as much as Bitcoin in 2018?
I don't think so. I don't think the bitcoin will be surpassed by ETH, and the development trend of bitcoin is very good. Bitcoin is still the king of all altcoins, and it is the basis of all altcoins.

Re: 2018 good year or bad year for Cryptocurrency ?

Do you predict crypto to get to new highs or the opposite ?
I speculate a sharp decline on Cryptocurrency specially  Bitcoin this year.
Call it a inner feeling.

I think in 2018 bitcoin and cryptocurrency will get better and better. Now that bitcoin has stopped falling and is starting to recover, I think it will return to $20,000 in the next few months, and then continue to rise.

Re: Sell your house for investment in btc.

I'm not going to sell my house to invest in bitcoin, which is gambling. The price of bitcoin is volatile, and no one knows how the price of bitcoins will change in the future. If you fail to invest in bitcoin, you lose everything.

Re: Could Bitcoin ever replace conventional money?
by

No one can give you the exact answer right now. Bitcoin is no substitute for traditional money. But there are countries that recognize the legitimacy of bitcoin, and in Japan there are merchants who support bitcoin payments, and perhaps in the future, bitcoin will replace traditional currencies.

No one knows what will happen after Chinese New Year. Maybe the Chinese will put their money back into bitcoin. But we're just guessing, and we need to remain vigilant.

Bitcoin is a currency, and now only a few merchants accept it, and I think it will be accepted by most businesses in the future.

Re: New regulations in Korea make some trading floors pause
by
HiramMayBill
on 11/02/2018, 07:02:20 UTC
The ban on anonymous transactions in Korea has made many trading floors difficult and forced to temporarily suspend transactions. Most of the small trading floors in Korea do not have the support of banks involved in confirming the identity of investors. In related moves, the Korea Financial Supervisory Authority conducted inspections of the six biggest trading floors in Korea and found more than $ 600 million in illegal transactions involving criminal organizations.
I think it is good for the bitcoin, it will make the currency transactions become more specification, will be conducive to the development of the bitcoin, may make it difficult to bitcoin trading in Korea, but for thebitcoin in South Korea is good long-term development

Japan is a country that is very friendly to cryptocurrencies.
I'm glad to hear that. I think this will help promote bitcoin.
