Ahhh, yeah just saw that. UPbit just listed shift. Let's see how shift holds up over the upcoming weeks. Regardless of short term, I am very bullish on this project long term. Everyone jumped into the hype of substratum but shift is doing nearly the same thing, with a track record and an actual product.

SHIFT is basically are using other people technology called IPFS. That's not their own technology.
And shift only support java. How can they archive this mission for decentralise webs?

The truth is, we got none blockchain for this field yet. If someone can come out with working product for decentralise webs, trust me that coin gonna worth more than $1000 per unit.

To further clarify on your 2nd question Hiro, Flo/Alexandria is a decentralised content platform (think Spotify, YouTube etc), whereas Vezt is decentralised platform to sell/buy rights to songs, sort of like a stockmarket for songs.

So the exact time will depend on the block height when it reached 491407, it could be on 25th oct or 24th oct, or even on 23th Oct?
because of how the bitcoin difficulty works it is impossible to tell when a block is going to be mined if it is far away from today. you can just guess based on the fact that average time between blocks is 10 minutes so 144 blocks per day are being created.
but now that we are close you can make a better guess. so 491,407 will be on 25th. because only 132 more blocks are remaining.
Is there a site where we can get a live-updated countdown or something?

I saw some threads talking about people trading their altcoin to bitcoin, in order to have their bitcoin gold on October 25th.
After this date, people who don't believe in the bitcoin gold, will sell it fast to go back on altcoin trading ...
So it might be a good opportunity to buy some altcoin now because of low price.. and to see the price growth after this date.

I think you are right. I know many people who hold bitcoin to get bitcoin gold not because they believe bitcoin gold is a good coin but because they see this fork as an easy money opportunity. They remember bitcoin cash and they hope for the same. Later they plan to come back to altcoins.

I can't believe why so much people are so euphoric and blind in this crypto scene. I invested in this coin, too. But only with 1% or 1,5%. The potential of this coin looks good.
But... I have asked here three times and there was no answer. The only thing i hear is "to the moon". So i ask again. Is there ANY information from the team when alexandria could be released? The coin stands and falls with this platform or am i wrong?
The last info i have found was from mid 2016. And if the platforms will be released soon it also have to be used. Only because it is a good product it does not automatically mean that people would use it!

The coding takes time and dev only works during the weekend. Dev is going to work fulltime on ECC in September. I don't know ETA can be 1-2 days or in September. I know he certainly is doing his best and will deliver when it's all been tested with good results.Not many Alts have a full time Dev... this is really good news for ECC.

Could be true, but i don't think so. Pump was in May and was pretty organic, with all other crypto's bubble, not the classic pump and goodbye. Then it went down for reasons, but one big guy (Phantom) is being released pretty soon.
The concept is simple and cool: web hosting, but decentralized. You want to host your blog and be cooler? You can use this. You can find the actual benefits asking the devs, anyway I would host my site with them in no time. Hosting is just huge on the Internet (you don't say?
) and having our blockchain based hosting would very cool and potentially groundbreaking.For this reasons I think that price is very low, especially Bitcoin-wise.
