Bitcoin is money, and money is always used for legal or illegal purposes. Cash, credit cards and the banking system currently extend beyond Bitcoin in terms of use for criminal activity. Bitcoin can bring significant innovations in the payment system and the benefits of such innovations are often considered far beyond the potential for Bitcoin shortages. Maybe this is what makes Bitcoin not banned even though it has not been declared legal.
It won't be legal until a big and influence country make an announcement to legalize bitcoin as a new currency that safe for any payments (online or offline). They can't do that because it's too complex to be a real currency. Yeah, just enjoy it for now.
IIRC he announced this late 2017 during the bull run and was stated that he's still studying crypto and blockchain. And on latter of 2018, it's on the news that they have been hiring blockchain professionals which is an obvious act to understand that they will join and adopt the tech soon.
Creating a 'facebook coin' is likely but it's still a rumor, they have a large number of users so it will applicable to them. AFAIK, they have created sort of coins before during those restaurant city and farmville days.
It is so happy to heard this kind of a news.sure he will study those things and do something for the cryptocurrency. If that so cryptocrrencies will market as never before it will be popular in a minute

Re: How many people are still here to hunt bounty?
I believe most people are here for bounties. But you're right because most users left from bounties.
First thing is the market condition is not good to get investors, then most ICOs were failed recently. ICOs were failed me no bounty rewards.
The next thing is there are so many scam ICO projects.
The third one is low allocation. Most hunters are don't like to go with low allocated bounty campaigns because they're not getting enough rewards.
The fourth and important one is a number of participants. Most users are cheating bounty campaigns with multiple accounts. Bounty managers fail to catch those participants. Then most single participant not getting enough rewards.
There are so many bounty campaigns. Then hard to choose good projects. But you can do your own research before start working on bounties.
Before starting a bounty campaign it is better to check ICODROPS risk rate

Re: More than USD 1.5 bln has been stolen from exchanges. Here’s a recap
Most exchanges in this list are shit and you expect them to either get hacked, or have the operators take a run with people's coins. Where is Hitbtc? Has this garbage exchange never been hacked? Can't imagine they have not been hacked at one point. They probably just keep their mouth shut. Smart.
It seems that Coinbase and Kraken are the only reputable exchanges with a clean sheet, but that's only if you discard the successful 51% attacks where coins were stolen as result. In that case you can add Bittrex to the list as well after the attack on BTG.
what are the platforms i can trust other than mentioned ones

The basic principle from the invention of Bitcoin is its decentralized feature. It is bad if we wish to destroy its fundamentals.

Bitcoin, and digital currency as a concept, is still very young. It is never too late to learn something, specially bitcoin. Most people spend time wondering to join instead of getting things started.
