Re: Why did satoshi develop bitcoin in windows?

You are trying to create a decentralized, censorship resistant, open source form of money, and you build it on top of a closed source operating system which is known for it's ties with three letter agency, hidden exploits, and all sorts of these bad things.

I find it weird that he would develop on windows. As far as I know, his first release was for windows only, and from what I've read, some code analysts claimed that he was a windows guy.

What is your take on this?

They were the first three, HDM - LS - MS
The answer is simple...
We were students...
We were poor...
There was only one computer that had windows.

The first version of BTC is not that complex... it was almost a demo, which had more explanations or comments in the code than code...

Satoshi Nakamoto
From Argentina...

What is your opinion ?
At this point in time, it is no longer necessary for Satoshi to reveal himself or their selves, for several reasons, and one of this reasons is that Satoshi doing this now will steer up another controversy through out the cryptocurrency space and this controversy might end up having a negative impact on the general cryptocurrency market.
Another thing is that, Satoshi revealing himself now might make him an easy target for the government who are against bitcoin, and some other bitcoin haters, they might believe that since he wrote the code that brought about bitcoin, he has the ability to write another code that might destroy it, so it is better to for Satoshi to just be where ever he is or they are and enjoy his/their money with his/their family.

Satoshi already said it...
The people who know... already know that he said it...
They've known for years who he is...

Market fell for that and other reasons... crypto winter? it's possible? something has to do.

But Bitcoin is strong enough to outlast its founder...

10 years ago it was a problem... Today it is not so important, there are so many relevant people, so much has been built around it, there is a network effect, etc...

In any case, the market reacted... since many people know... there is nothing to prove XD

Because we believe in Satoshi and respect Satoshi's decision to hide his identity about him. Hiding the identity of Satoshi must have been carefully thought out and considered by Satoshi itself. We don't know the exact reason. However, since Satoshi has already decided on the condition, why should we bring it up and want Satoshi to reveal the real identity? Doesn't that mean we've crossed the line on the principle of "privacy" itself?
I think that not only the people on the forum want to know him and want to know his real identity, but many world governments also want to get to know him better. I think satoshi really needs to keep his privacy so that it doesn't leak to the public and he doesn't have to reveal it, this is a privacy that he must maintain if he doesn't want the government to control him.

If satoshi was still around or alive then I think he'd be laughing reading how many people really want to know him.

Satoshi does not want to control Bitcoin..
One day everything that created satoshi will be known, and it's not just BTC
All things are thought of as a machine that works alone (or at least that's what I tried to do)

Horacio doesn't want to control bitcoin, he just wants to see it work...
And he wants the stuff from him...

If Satoshi disclosed his identity, there could be some difference like people knowing his country, religion and other differences. Some people may start to conclude that bitcoin is becoming to be slightly centralized or centralized like altcoins. But as people do not know about Satoshi, it makes it more decentralized from the beginning while others bitcoin developers also want to keep it like this.

It's true, but don't you think that Bitcoin become substantive enough not to be hurt even by it's creator? If it was from the very beginning then definitely knowing of Satoshi's identity changed a lot but as for now... I think most would say thanks and that's all. I don't think he can still influence on Bitcoin even if he can prove his identity. Bitcoin IMO doesn't depend on Satoshi anymore, it is grown up.

The price holds up pretty well, I mentioned it months ago...
The price fell... But Bitcoin Is strong enough...
I thought about it in those years... there is more info in my TT

In my opinion, one of the aspects of the magic in Bitcoin is that its inventor is anonymous. The mystery about the origin of Bitcoin and the personality of its inventor increases suspense and excitement and pushes people to turn towards Bitcoin. What will benefit society by revealing the true identity of Satoshi? On the contrary, the Bitcoin community will not benefit anything and at the same time the real Satoshi's life may be in danger and he will be the first wanted by governments, so personally I prefer that Satoshi remain anonymous.

Actually, over time, Satoshi's anonymity became a problem.
He is some kind of Deity or an alien. He made a statue of her.

In February 2022 I started to remember, I loved bitcoin and cryptos but I didn't pay much attention to the Satoshi thing.
When some memories began to return, I was scared, and even more so when I noticed that some people had turned it into a kind of Cult.

Satoshi is a common Type. If you ever meet me, you'll see what an ordinary guy I am. A human of flesh and blood. He scared me a lot, imagine what would happen in 50 or 100 years... If today there are already people who consider him this way.

Satoshi is a character...
He has one creator, or three creators, depending on how you understand it...

But he is a character... That interests me that he does not forget... and that he is not confused with a kind of Saint or deity.

My question to OP and anyone claiming to be Satoshi

My question is, if you are truly Satoshi, tell us why you decided to hide your identity after creating bitcoin

AND

Tell us why you have decided to reveal your identity now. What really changed your decision of remaining anonymous?

The history of Bitcoin begins well before 2008, the first ideas, friends, the history of the unnamed project begins in 2005.
As Elon Musck and others have mentioned, Satoshi Nakamoto is an anagram: Samsung, Toshiba, Nakamishi, and Motorola. It was created that way to confuse, we played pirates, we were 18 or 20 years old...
The first were three people:
- Horacio de Mora (HodL)
- L.S.
- M.R.
Although I mentioned their names on Twitter, in this forum I prefer to only leave their initials
Later, the three friends included another 7. Horacio was a law student, the rest were Telecommunications Engineering students.
It all started in Cordoba Argentina. It is a beautiful story of friendship and love of friends.

It is not necessary that I prove who I am, many know it, fundamentally in this forum.
There was a party, a meeting with the original community. The States know who Satoshi is... There was no need to hide as Bitcoin is not a bad thing, from the beginning it was thought of as something legal that could function in the system as a Commodity, that's why Bitcoin is inspired by a merchant current account with a commodity, that's why it's an orange.

There are several reasons why satoshi did not say his real name, I will mention a few.
Horacio was already known in Cordoba, he was afraid of "Fame" that scared me.
Horacio knew the problem of the Founder, in this type of projects. You become so important and recognized in a community, for being the Founder, that you do and undo, everyone respects you so much that they obey, everything you do is great. That was not good for Bitcoin, I was afraid to make a mistake and screw it up, he was very young.
There was a lot of criticism, he already had enemies, and new leaders had to emerge. So that, one day, I can return and be the Founder, a person who can give his opinion and participate as someone relevant, but not always the last word, like what happened with BlackBerry, my last name in Spanish is "de Mora".
Satoshi could be manipulated, he could be pressured, he could be threatened, to get something done in a certain way.
For that reason, among others, he had to get away so that Bitcoin can mature and then return and be the Founder and that there are other relevant interlocutors besides the Founder. Things happened for me to make that decision.
It wouldn't be for that long, but I had amnesia.

The countries, the states, fundamentally Argentina, the United States and the rest know...
Because they know?
Because Satoshi took care that they know. Why is Satoshi not in prison? Because Bitcoin was always LEGAL. I requested anonymity and protection.
In some forum, in the email chains, I left clues, names, etc.
It was intended so that it can work in all systems as a Commodity.
I must say, that many of this community know that I am the creator of Satoshi along with my two friends.

We are 10, not everyone wants to say it... I don't quite understand why... I suspect threats, fear, who knows...
We are 10 all Argentines. They already have a place to look.

This is a testimony that will eventually be confirmed...

Greetings to the community, Horacio had lost his memory, and he still hasn't completely recovered it.
I hope one day we will have the opportunity to tell the whole true story, Bitcoin deserves it, there is nothing to hide.

A greeting as a testimony:
Many know that Horacio de Mora is, along with two friends, Satoshi Nakamoto.
It is the place that corresponds to the Founder. There is nothing to prove, you know that.
I need help from the community... I'm very lonely...
I want to tell the story...
Many know...
Many love me...
Telling the true story and getting to know Satoshi is important...
Many who know the truth... Help me... Contact me...

In those years, many people respected Horacio de Mora, it's time, it's time... the originals, the first, they know...

There are many reasons why I had to get away from it all, but that wasn't going to be forever.
I hope that people who know who Horacio de Mora is can help me...

I had amnesia, I was violated, threatened... Help please...
