Re: If people stop buying bitcoin
by

What will happen if people just stop buying bitcoin? Will bitcoin be as usable as now Or will it be a step towards the end?

How will the market value react to it, people wanting to sell bitcoin but there is no one to buy.

Same thing happens if people stop buying anything. At absence of the demand of buyers, the price of BTC will eventually go to zero.

Yes, bitcoin is a very good way to save and multiply your money. Now all who want to be rich in the future have at least a few coins besides other types of investments.

Re: Am i late to buy bitcoin now ??

Bitcoin prices are currently at over $ 16,000, down significantly from the previous three days. From my personal point of view, this is a good time to buy Bitcoin for holding, because the Bitcoin price will not be lower. A few days before the Bitcoin price reaches $ 19,000, I would not advise you to buy Bitcoin, but at this point, if you do not invest in Bitcoin then I think you will regret it later. As usual, Bitcoin will be rebound strongly and exceed $ 20,000 by the end of this year.

Everything you wanted to know about Bitcointalk advices, but were afraid to ask. The 21st of december, 2017

Many were listed , but so far as I know the most friendly with biggest ambitions is Japan. Closely following what is happening there.
like your opinion, Japan is a civilized country with high economic development. So they are very friendly with bitcoin

Japan like any other "good businessman" sees the possibility where other miss it. Their cryptocurrency regulation proves this once again.

Re: If Bitcoin had a stable price, would it still be as popular?

Do you think if BTC had a stable price which could only be altered by $0.01-0.10 it would still be as popular and as used?

If bitcoin is stable then more people will adapting bitcoin for business, more local shop will accepting bitcoin because they can calculate their profit, if bitcoin price is unstable then it will be good for trading, so no matter what is happening -  bitcoin will be popular anyway

Re: Still Trading When Red?

I think it is the best time to trade or to get some alt-coin.
It is the best time to invest in some alt-coin you could take advantage of it if you want .
Because everyone knows that the market wouldn't always be red and it would recover soon.

That's a smart plan. Some of alts can multiply your invest when BTC will enter the stable green trend.

Based on the news, bitcoin might hit $50000 by the end of 2018. Is this possible? If so, what are the reasons?

Sometimes I think that this kind of "news" have been posted to console yourself.  What's the point of these threads?

It seems like this takes a long time. The unification of European currencies, namely EURO takes over 20 years and still have not all European countries use Euro as government currency....

Re: buy high and sell low. or hold which one is it?

after this major price correction. i want to see what are your ideas on this. lets say you bought bitcoin 2 years ago. you notice prices were high at 19,000$ should u sell or continue to hold? what are your thoughts after this huge correction?

it is probably too late to sell after holding since the 19000$ correction.

Is there any sense to cut the loses if you don't need your money as soon as possible because of emergency needs? Suck it up and hold untill the price will touch at least $20000

Re: Will the price be stable?

I remembered watching a video about bitcoins and the simple information that a beginner can understand. It says that bitcoin only has the maximum of 21 million bitcoins and 17 or 18 million has been mined.

What would happen if the very last block were mined? Will the value of bitcoin finally be stabilized?

I think in this situation the price will fully depend on demand and supply. And it won't make Bitcoin more stable, because of instability of this type of pricing.

If you are looking for stable and safe profits then gold is the right choice, but if you want to take risks and play in short term then you should go with bitcoins.

Re: How long bitcoin will survive ?

Have you guys ever think to how long is bitcoin will survive in this world ? Well, I mean is there anything that can make bitcoin bankrupt or low price, then possibly will make bitcoiners doesn't want to invest anymore. And also is there any solution to avoid those thing. Just wonder to know.

I think as long as the blockchain is there the bitcoin will not end but if you talk about the value maybe if some kind of currency which is far better than the bitcoin and that will be the time bitcoin will lose all its value since users or even the community shift to another currency.

Re: teach your children about bitcoin
by

on 15/03/2018, 12:59:30 UTC
hello guys , i just want to share what am i doing right now to my children, i have a 10 year old kid , he is david . this coming summer i want to teach him about cryptocurrency. especially bitcoin, from his young age i want to share him my knowledge about this kind of things. im happy that he is excited a little bit however it's so hard to explain but then i use some examples like video games as a reference about bitcoin. probably it might be the easiet way to understand how this things works. for example bitcoin is like a video games, you need to do a lot of research about bitcoin to know it and ask some people what  they know about bitcoin or  like experiences  , like games you need to do a lot of practice to mastered the games , can someone help me about this ?

I haven't had children yet, but it sounds crazy to fill children's head with useless information. You'd better tell  them about the world, kindness and justice. That will be plainly more useful for them.

Hey guys, I wanna hold some alts for 2-3 years. Can you advise me some? I am thinking about Bitquance, XVG, OMG, NEO....anything else?

There is nothing more risky than to hold alt. However it could probably work out if you can choose the right coin to invest. What do you think about waves?

Re: Don't look at btc every five minutes
by

on 14/03/2018, 12:02:37 UTC
This is a mistake a lot of us make. If you track btc every minute you are more prone to panic selling. Btc has a lot of ups and downs, if you are in it long term the short price has little meaning

It sound like we want to check it every minute, dude. This is necessary to protect your invest from unexpected dump.

Re: Bitcoin is Becoming a Global Currency

You can already say that Bitcoin is a global currency because everyone in the world can make use of it but it has to become more popular in order to become a real global currency.
I think that this can be possible in the future of Bitcoin.

Re: Hold or Sell
by

In trading how do you know if it is time to still hold or is it the right time to sell? Do you go buy your profit margin  or actually wait for the highest possible peak?
For example if you're earning like 10% of your investment, would you just sell or would you be interested in waiting and seeing if it goes more up so you could earn more, in doing that its possible that it may go down and you then earn like 5-8%
But what is your process in this? How do you go about hold and sell timings?

Researchers say bitcoin prices will hit 20000$ till the end of 2018.  Just hold your hard earned coins and hope for pump on prices. If you dont want to risk with all coins just diversify your portfolio. Also you have to remember the most importang thing: Dont hold all eggs in same basket!

Re: Buying BTC below 10,000 USD?
by
Hordyyy
on 13/03/2018, 10:17:24 UTC
always stick to proven strategy, Buy during low and SELL during high.

everyone knows BTC currently in the low and yet many still afraid to buy. but once the market pickup, they will rush to join in and buy btc at much higher price. thats herd mentality , although its the safest one, but low risk low gain

cheers

Your strategy works only if you can be quite sure how to find these LOW and HIGH peaks  Undecided
