I have received 0.25BTC from this campaign - looks like that might be coming to an end once it switches to PPP.

so this is the lowest paid sig campaign now, use to be high at the time it came out right?

But it pays you for not posting! Really cool for dormant accounts.
Yes if you are not posting and just keeping signature then you still have payment in your wallet every week

I go through ebbs and flows posting on this forum, so wouldn't do as well on other campaigns.

With this campaign I have received 0.15 in payouts since I joined many weeks ago, whereas I would earn 0 on others as I dont make 50 posts per month.

When will you realise that your competition is paying like 4X-10X more than you do? Please update your rates and maybe you will get extra new users.

The competition is paying like 4X-10X more for 4X-10X more effort.

Clearly, BitMixer must have done something right because people use this campaign!

Also, maybe they don't want to be the cause of spam on the forums. Maybe they dont need to encourage more people to sign up.

If you know of someone paying out more on similar terms, let me know - and I will switch.

How does one even say this number: 1,461,501,637,330,902,918,203,684,832,716,283,019,655,932,542,976  Huh

I bet it would be a whole paragraph  Grin

Rounded somewhat (actually, quite a lot).

The number is one point four six one five quindecillion if you use the short scale for numbers or one point four six one five Octillion if you use the long scale.

I think the one drawback is the low rate of pay.  0.04 per month is pretty low compared to the competitors.

For some though, the low maintenance aspect makes it totally worth it! I make 0.023 per 4 weeks at the moment (gradually rising as I post), but have no commitments to adhere to, I also don't have to prompt them to pay me.

Any plans for a LTC dice site?

LTC?  Ew, no!

Just to add my 0.02, I would invest in LTC dice, at the moment my LTC is just sitting dormant.

A lot of us would

Doge has a huge community but LTC has a big one as well
Problem here is that LTC community is delusional, as opposite to doge community who (I hope) are in it just for the lulz.
LTC fans are seriously convinced that LTC is [innovative|the next big thing|silver to Bitcoin's gold] or other crap like that, while reality is that it's just a copy+paste coin like dozens and dozens of others. Actual worth: ZERO.
doge is another copycat, but it's born from the lulz, for the lulz. Its innovation isn't in the coin per-se, but in a bizarre "marketing" which is basically "we know it doesn't make sense but lolz". So it's a joke, but its fans know it's a joke, so it's fine.

Disclaimers:
1. I'm not sure if this is doog's line of reasoning as well
2. Likely I won't bother to reply to LTC delusional fans

Exactly. Problem is the LTC guys are just not willing to accept the facts, best seen buy their true belief that their coin would be as bitcoin once MtGox puts it on their exchange.

Like it or not, believe in it or not, LTC is the biggest ALT coin with a market cap almost 5 times higher than the next ALT (which is Nxt).

Disclaimer: I am not an LTC "fanboi", just invested to hedge my bets

Don't worry. I forgive you Smiley

XD. Thanks!

Also, @Dooglus -- about the LTC, I'd throw my coins into that as well. I currently just have my LTC sitting around anyways.

If Dooglus isn't interested in doing it maybe he would be interested in selling the code so someone else can.  Of course it wouldn't have Doog's reputation behind it but others on this forum do.  I think Darkcoin has a decent following too that people would be happy to gamble away.

It's an interesting idea. A couple of us have asked in the past but didn't get a response on it.

I've actually got many ideas on how to spruce it up even more.

Well I would be interested in supporting an LTC dice from the outset if it was trustworthy. I would actually consider running such a site, but alas, I doubt I would get enough trust from the community.

If dooglus isn't interested, but some other trusted member is taking a stab at it, PM me and I will see if I can help with anything.

EDIT: Anyone know who runs dicenow.com ? Just found it on google.

Thanks BitMixer.

Would this phone work in AU
is it gsm900/1800mhz ?? or do you know the freq ?

thanks

I'm not aware of the frequency but these phones are all unlocked and AFAIK they will adjust to your countries frequency so you should have no problem with it working overseas.

Nope, Not wanted I guess.
Might try selling on here at some point.
Quite surprised as I thought it was a bargain.

Was a bargain, I paid 0.77BTC each for three, under 0.7 is a steal!

Well the auction is now over @ a final price of £315.00

Ebay Fees will have been £31.48
(source: http://www.fees.ebay.co.uk/feeweb/feecalculator )

Paypal Fees will have been £10.91
(source: http://www.ebay.co.uk/gds/PayPal-Fees-The-rates-and-percentages-charges-/10000000004252166/g.html )

Insured special delivery will have cost £6.40
(source: http://www.royalmail.com/price-finder )

So the seller made £266.21  which could buy him 0.586BTC on LocalBitcoins ( https://localbitcoins.com/buy_bitcoins ) at the current price of £386.03

I think I will be holding on to my 0.5's for a little while longer yet.

Interesting calculation, thank you for sharing some of the "magic" behind the scene in ebay, learned something new Smiley

Looking back today I realised I made an error, the sale amount after fees would have bought 0.69BTC then. Today, that has fell to 0.6588BTC (@ £404.10 on localbitcoins)

Hope your buyer pays up fair and square dave3k because they got a good deal!

"Nothing to hide" is one of the stupidest things you can say.

Pretty mean.  What if s/he really has nothing to hide?  I mean, we do some things in public on purpose. For example, the blockchain is shared public info for a good reason.  Perhaps this poster simply has good reasons to do their internetting in-the-clear (or behind an insecure vpn).
You shouldn't support such things in any way. When people do a bad job, don't pay for it.

I am using a VPN to gain privacy from the operators of certain networks and ISP's that I have to use, not from the US Govt or anyone else who might go and ask PIA for my browsing history.

Payments are still coming in nice and strong. Been signed on for 16 weeks now Smiley. Took enough BTC to pay for a VPN for 12 months!
I hope you didn't choose an insecure one  Tongue

Private Internet Access.

Dont trust them 100% but you can trust any centralized host anyway. I am not too worried anyway, not got that much to hide.
You've chosen one of the most insecure ones out there.
In the US, there is a law which allows authorities (after a silent court order) to force VPN providers to log every activity without informing the user.

Wow, damn the usa courts!

Anyway, on the topic of bitmixer.io, my current sig campaign is closing and i'd consider coming back here if the rate went up just a little.  I mean, this is the same rate that was being paid when btc was above 600$.  Surely bitmixer can show a little love?

To Nik1ab: I will take my chances, as I said, not got much to hide.

To tspacepilot: I agree, a rate adjustment would be nice to reflect the change in BTC price, hey, I would even be happy with a fiat based rate that is calculated at the time of payment (e.g. $0.02 per activity point)

They're pretty good from what I've seen. So far I haven't had downtime using them (been using them for about 4 months now) and I'm running my internet through it about 4-5 hours a day straight. Can't tell you much about whether they truly delete their records as they claim but if its any consolation they also host this server.

If I wanted increased security I would probably buy two VPN accounts from two unrelated providers (preferably based in different countries) and route one through the other.

But yeah I am getting good speeds and uptime through PIA. No problems as yet.
