Why would they lie about a 2 hour deadline?  It wouldn't make sense..

Just like that time you told everyone that you got insider information from Ken about how eASIC would make a PR release with ActiveMining on the following Monday?

and then it turned out to be later that week instead?  yeah.. I was wayyyy off!

LOL, you are such a clown and false prophet. You were off with more than 2 weeks  Roll Eyes

If ActiveMining doesn't tape out until late September, they won't have their chips till when, January?

theyre taping out right away.  Joint news release with easic and activemining expected by monday.  My advice: invest in labcoin and activemining.  They will both be big players.

Prediction- no divided will be paid this week

Prediction 2-  no one will care.

Why? It's already been assumed they haven't been mining and that has already been priced into the stock.

Anyone bringing it up is merely behind the curve.  The market has already adjusted to it.

It's the first dividend payment announced by Labcoin. They have been mining since before June, that's a couple of months of hashing that we should see dividends from..

It would raise more questions - how was this paid for and for how much, where is the income, etc.

Labcoin bought that before the IPO... but since we have invested in the company Labcoin and its ventures, that should surely include the hashing from their existing farm too? (just like how it is for ActiveMining) Where is the satoshi dust dividends from Labcoins Avalons?   Huh

Possible outcomes in this Wednesday: (from the best scenario to the worst)
1, Labcoin provides a mining address and a signed message. There're 1 - 2 blocks mined there.
..

Considering that Labcoin have at least ~0.5TH of mining equipment from other vendors, including a few Avalons - quoted below, a signed mining address does not prove that their PCB and chips are working and hashing.. A mining address, technical specification of chip, proper photos/videos of setup will help on the way though.

Yes, but with a mining address, we can estimate the hashing rate by monitoring it.

Of course, even the 2Th is confirmed (may takes several days or even weeks due to solo mining), this still cannot rule out the possibility that the hashing rate is bought from others.

That's the reason labcoin insisted the final decision needs to be done by the end of October, the date all their 1-gen chips are deployed and whether the 2-gen chips work or not is confirmed.

Seems like something that SHOULD take 5mins to generate; proper videos / photos, technical specs (which there is ZERO reason for them to not release) would be a hell of a lot easier then have people wait until end of October..  Huh

I guess all I'm saying is that a mining address by itself doesn't prove anything.

For fucks fucking sake. I left this thread for a couple days and expected to see labcoin near 0 after the last update where they said they lied but still didn't admit to lying. I see the price spike and go into the thread only to see another fucking unbacked promise. Post address on WED? Why the fuck not right now? Unreal that this thing isn't at 0. They are just delaying the inevitable drop to .00001. This is just going to bring scam stocks from all over now because they see how stupid the people are.

The reason they don't post the address is obvious; they do not have an address that has received any mined coins.. Trust me, if they had one it would be all over the place.. They are buying time and hoping to have their ducks and (new?) PCBs in a row by Wednesday... Based on Mr Labcoin's track record, it definitionally seems that people just look at Labcoin as gamble instead of valuing the stock at its true value, which IMHO is closer to 0.0015.

Mining address will be posted publicly before Wednesday. This will allow transparent monitoring of the hashing rate and block generation.

Hmm.. more promises?  What happened with this promise?  Roll Eyes

We promise pictures of some boards mining will be up for this weekend.

I'm now completely certain these guys aren't a pure scam.  I have no doubts whatsoever.

Everything thus far has been precisely consistent with a tech startup that got the first steps wrong and reflexively tried to cover up their mistakes.

That was their biggest mistake, trying to cover up their technical errors.  If they'd been forthcoming about them, then the price would have dropped but not nearly so much.

Guessing here, but I suspect the chips likely work, the boards probably do too, but they require much more assembly effort than was planned. Possibly due to design errors.

They might be able to work it out.  They might not. Who knows what the time frame will be?

They may well be incompetent.  Until they show us a working miner, we don't know.

But they aren't a scam.  Attempting to prove that is just barking up the wrong tree.

I guess it depends on what your definition of a scam is... A lot of the people who ordered from BFL a year ago would say the lies and deception they have been told qualifies for BFL to be called a scam.

And in regards to Labcoin, of course everything is not going to go according to plan for a tech startup, but I don't see how that justifies Labcoin's behavior.

Lying and deceiving your investors simultaneously as you are encouraging them to "buy cheap shares" qualifies as a scam in my book.

We promise pictures of some boards mining will be up for this weekend.

The next update will include a mining address as well. We are confident in fact that the price will raise tenfold in respect to IPO price in reasonable time, and advise anyone until 30/10/2013 to take any final decision.

We are here to stay and everyone who is having doubts will have to change his opinion once we show what we achieved.
Again, we advise anyone to purchase more shares now that they are cheap.

Next proof to be posted will be mining address, clearly showing the rate of blocks creation.
Probably no more pictures as they only do create more confusion.

Some of my favourite labcoin quotes from last 24 hours, I cant see how Labcoin could fail more even if they intentionally tried to. I mean seriously, Labcoin is promoting speculation of their stock? that people should jump in now that the stock is cheap? What company official does that publicly?

What if the news is that the project failed and all shares will be bought back at IPO cost

I can guarantee you that the above is not going to be happening, you are basically speculating that they are going to make a big announcement that they lied about hashing at 2TH a few days ago..  Roll Eyes Makes no sense, if they lied about 2TH they are not gonna announce that tomorrow.

swede as usuall, no report, since the last time, when i got frustrated

At least he posted something, better than being silent, no? I agree that the guy is not doing a great job at PR (for one thing, a moderated news thread with updates would be a hell of a lot better instead of posting it in this thread), but at the end of the day I think its labcoin/Sam who is failing to provide any information for him to package and present to us.

He is probably the only person on this forum who can actually push for Sam to release more information, hopefully it will happen today...  Roll Eyes
