Apple Pay is not a threat to Bitcoin. I don't understand the hype surrounding Apple Pay. Google Wallet is pretty much the same thing as Apple Pay except Google Wallet has been out for over 3 years.
No. It's like a history. Think of people reading this messages 25 years in the future.
Maybe we should all send messages to our future selves.

I've been playing on this site for a few days now with small amounts, and I've really enjoyed my time here. It's one of the more unique bitcoin gambling sites that I've tried. It definitely has the coolest domain name. I haven't tried plinko yet, but dicing has been fun and I love the fancy bets animations that should really have the Mortal Kombat theme song added to them. The only criticisms I have are that the chat hasn't been very active when I've been on and all of the multicolored buttons on the site remind me of legos, but then again, legos are awesome

Re: The protocol of bitcoin can be limitlessly replicated
I may be severly retarded. I've been reading for a while now about apple pay and it still makes no sense to me. Can't grasp the concept. Can anyone explain me in layman terms and how does it correlate with bitcoin in any way?
It can be used to transmit currency digitally. That's about the only similarity.

There's probably not too many people that can answer that question, but Paypal has plans to accept bitcoin in the near future. It's likely that more businesses will continue this trend of accepting bitcoin. Acceptance is spreading.
Have PP actually definitlye laid out their plans to accept it or the time frame? The mentions they've given it so far seem kinda ominious and I haven't seen anything concrete from them at all.

That's not a danger at all. I seriously doubt any government will create their own decentralized digital currency on par with bitcoin.

Re: Bitcoin moves towards mainstream with eftpos cards
The exchange into Australian dollars will occur when Coinjar account holders load their cards from their bitcoin account rather than when they buy products with the card.
So is this basically a debit card that you can load with fiat by selling your bitcoin to Coinjar?

Re: Corporate entities should have a forced maximum lifespan
Nintendo started in September 23, 1889. They are older than Sony.
They will die when no one buys their product. Otherwise, if there are artificial ways to make entities die, then they will find artificial ways to extend their life. They can simply close one corporation and form another, while retaining the brand.
1889? I didn't know they've been around for that long. It looks like they started out making playing cards, and then moved onto cab services and love hotels before settling on video games. A Nintendo love hotel would be interesting

Everyone will profit except for criminals, some parts of the tobacco industry, the alcohol industry, a few pharmaceutical companies, prisons, and some local, state, and federal police forces.

Re: Corporate entities should have a forced maximum lifespan
From evolution it is known that individuals must die so that the species could evolve. This is why we are not immortal. It is important for the older generations to die because otherwise they hold the resources for themselves and it becomes extremely difficult for new generations to become successful.
Same logic should be applied to corporate entities such as Coca Cola and what not. They should forcefully be exterminated after 100 years of existence, all their assets being redistributed between new firms and startups. My corpse will some day rot and turn into soil so that new life can use it for building blocks. Coca Cola, McDonalds, Ford and other big and long lived corporations should be forced to die in a similar manner.
Any takers?
Quote from: Max Planck
A new scientific truth does not triumph by convincing its opponents and making them see the light, but rather because its opponents eventually die, and a new generation grows up that is familiar with it.
absolutely bitcoin can only be used on electronic transactions, because bitcoin itself does not have a physical form such as now exist currency, bitcoin only convenient means used for electronic transactions, electronic transactions have requirements include: must have internet connection, must have a PC or notebook, if all the above requirements are met, the use of new bitcoin can comfortably ...
Most fiat transactions are done electronically now. The world becomes more connected through the internet everyday. I don't see this being an issue unless there's a massive power outage, but at that point we will have much bigger problems on our hands.
