A great article by cointelegraph Smiley

http://cointelegraph.com/news/111523/mine_curecoins_fold_proteins_cure_cancer

We simply forwarded them the link to this thread, the link showing them the folding power we are all putting together, http://folding.extremeoverclocking.com/team_list.php?s=&srt=3
And within hours they had an article written Smiley

That's a tribute to everyone who is working on this project!
They recognized the value immediately Smiley

Folding away!
We are happy to be contributing to this endeavor Smiley
This is a major step to find a way to create a more intrinsically-valuable proof-of-work for legit cryptocoins Smiley
We wish this project, and all like it, total success Smiley

Board Mining support
Re: CGMINER, 7950, XP .. is this combination possible?
by
HugPuddle
on 05/12/2013, 05:16:29 UTC
Not possible. 7x GPUs need opencl 2.6 or later and there is no support for opencl 2.6+ on XP. It is after all a 12 year old operating system.

What is this cat referring to mr. ckolivas?

actually there are modded drivers which support the 7970 and windows xp with opencl. APP SDK v2.6 actually works with windows xp. AMD just disabled it in versions of catalyst for windows xp after 12.1 to b dicks.

The more miners, the stronger the networks.

Can anyone help here?

Link to said modded drivers?

Yes please.

The more mining on more machines the stronger the networks.

I am currently trying a number of emails to the local PCB fabricators in Thailand, that he suggested to me as alternatives to China and Indonesia and asking them that if they see Chris to contact me. ... long shot.

Good thinking!
Thank you for your effort!

Please someone locate him.
It just doesn't make sense.
To pour that kind of energy into a project and then just disappear like that?
It doesn't follow.

Great time to refund accounts paid in Bitcoin.
The price was based in USD, you can legally pay half-back in Bitcoin and those accounts are refunded in full.

Seize the day Terrahash.

Well, never did I think I'd get rickroll'd on Bitcointalk - LOL. As a major fan of Stock/Aitken/Waterman music (I was quite young and particularly impressionable during their production years, 1984-91) I enjoy a good rickroll, even though rickrolling is "so 2008".

Of opening salvoes on Bitcointalk, this is up there with them; welcome on board, HugPuddle. Smiley
