Thx @Sud that sounds quite decent for a phone. Now that you mention Apples crypto ban I remember hearing about it. Guess I have to wait for the web-based java version then. Problem there is the that all background processes stop when the screen locks. So it has to be always turned on when mining = not so user friendly. Oh well!

This is GREAT news! Can anyone on Android pls confirm it works and what hashrates you get? However I’m all in on the Apple ecosystem when it comes mobile devices so naturally I’m curious if there are any plans for iOS?

Btw I’m mining WEB with my i7 8700K and getting maximum hashrates around 390-400 h/s.

I’ve been mining and buying WEB lately. Solid idea and a team that likes to hold on to some of their secrets for a while and portioning them out instead of spilling a bunch of crap they can’t deliver on. Smart contracts and Dapps-friendly, ASIC-resistant, web and IoT mineable (Java) but also will be letting website-owners lend a portion of their visitors CPU-power to mine the coin thus reducing the need for bothering commercials. This duckling might become a swan someday..

The most intriguing project for me right now though is Hadron. AI and deep learning will bring a new era and the Hadron team is geared up to be on the forefront of this revolution.

Ever since Ancient Greece thinking machines and artificial creatures have appeared in tales and myths. As an area of research it’s been around since the mid 50’s and has endured several “winters” where financing and faith in AI has been faint.

Recent years things are definitely looking up and scientists have made great progress in mimicking the real neurons in our brains allowing machines to process information by themselves and learn from the experience - “deep learning”.

Within a not to distant future we can expect to see a lot more of AI in our everyday lives in the form of:

Cyborgs
Artificial limbs and body parts communicating with our brain to give the patient more control.

Robots in dangerous jobs
Smart robots can take on the task of disarming a bomb and do a much faster and more accurate job than the human guided drones that are available today can.

Healthcare
As well as performing dangerous tasks robots will be able help surgeons where extreme precision is needed and AI in computers will be able to assist in the diagnosis procedure by having access to and summarizing large amounts of data. Also friendly robots taking care of elders or physically disabled will be a common sight

Big data
Every field of science, be it genetics, biology, astronomy, physics, environmental research, meteorology or financial trading generates vast amounts of data. But what do we do with all that information? The human brain is certainly not capable of processing this ever growing mountain. However, computers are. Equipped with deep learning algorithms they extract, or mine, this mountain for complex connections and trends that could ultimately answer our worlds biggest questions like; what is the universe made of (atoms accounts for only about 5% of the universes total mass)? How did life begin? Are we alone? How do we solve the climate change?

So how do we gather the processing power and create a neural network so great that it can provide us with some of these answers? One resent project tries to connect all of the unused computer power in tablets, phones, laptops and smart TV’s just littering our homes and offices and pay the user back over the network in coins, Hadrons. With a little luck and som hard work this crypto project might be able to grow at a parallel rate with Artificial Intelligence. Imagine where we will be in ten years.

I'm back into crypto after a few years on the sideline (I went down with MtGox  ) and the most promising ICO for 2018 is beyond doubt Hadron.Devs from Google, Tesla and Berkeley. Super fast growing community even in the pre-mining stage its currently at. Interesting product aiming to be a tool for AI development.

Har varit en miner för 4-5 år sedan. Trade:ade bort det mesta av mina tokens/coins och blev slutligen av med det sista när MtGox gick under. Så detta är inget professionellt råd men efter flera år vid sidlinjen har jag hittat ett projekt i tidigt stadie med gigantisk potential som gjort att jag tänker ge mining och altcoins en ny chans. Har tagit fram en guide som egentligen var ämnad för min närmsta familj och vänner men nu när den är skriven kan jag ju lika gärna posta den här också för alla er svenskar/skandinaver som är mer trygga med svenska än engelska.

Hadron - usp:n med detta projekt är att beräkningskraften från nätverket skall användas till avancerade AI-beräkningar (Artificiell Intelligens). Detta är idag ett stort område inom forskning och kommer fortsätta bli större i framtiden, vare sig vi gillar det eller ej. Alternativt kan du skaffa Jaxx-appen för android eller iOS på mobilen och använda den som wallet men den är ganska ny och har ännu ingen 2-faktorsautentisering så den anses av somliga vara lite osäker i nuläget.
