Cheap and half solution : type in the IP address instead of the name. This will prevent a DNS hack attack if I am not wrong. But this won't prevent the etherdelta website itself to be hacked...

I witnessed the very impressive pump during last Btc fork, hope it will do this again.

In my opinion : Altcoins become red because Btc is going up (not only Alts value in Btc but also Alt value in Usd). Btc is going up before a fork because people want to get free tokens from the fork.So they sell Alts for Btc temporarily. So if there is a slight chance of a new token that will be tradable just after the fork, then yes probably Alts will again temporarily become red again because of the fork.

Well dev is one thing, marketing is another.
Even if dev is really good on this coin, there are not a lot of people who do know about this coin. And that is as much important.
That is the problem imho.

And I have another qora question :

I made a transfer of a few qora from Poloniex when qora was delisted (so near end of april and beginning of may 2017).
And in my "Withdrawal history" on Poloniex, I see that it is marked as "Complete".

I downloaded the latest windows wallet from qora website and launched the lightwallet.
I imported my qora seed and got my qora addresses where Poloniex says the withdrawal was done.

I added the peers that were mentionned in this thread and I got a few connections (I see "connected now ticked for these peers").

I opened the console and typed :

GET wallet/synchronize
which returned :
[RESULT] true

Then I did a
GET addresses/balance/myAddress
which returned :
[RESULT] 0.00000000

I have 2 addresses where I sent the withdrawals. And both are empty.
I checked with the block explorer on qora website, and the addresses are NOT empty. So the withdrawals have been done.

So how do I get my wallet to reflect the true balance of these addresses ??
Do I need to wait ?
Or to launch the non-light wallet ?

Or is it actually this famous db bug in the wallet that needs to be fixed ??

This is not the first "abandonned" coin where I see a community that is ready to invest a little bit to have someone deliver code and make releases again for the coin.

So I am wondering..
Would'nt it be possible with smart contracts for example to set one or several bounties that would be only paid if someone gets the job done ?

For example here, there is a need for someone to fix the db.

Obviously some people would be ready to pay a little for this.

So isn't it possible to set a smart contract (or anything else) where :

- Anyone can pay for an objective. Each time someone pays, the bounty increase of this amount.
- Anyone can see how much the bounty is and what needs to be done to prove it.

Then :
- If someone gets the job done and he can prove it. (For example get the wallet db fixed). He gets the bounty.
- If nobody comes, after a while, the bounty gets "cancelled" and the amount paid by people is returned to them (minus fees).

Just tried the Android app, and it doesn't seem to work well, taking forever to get prices.., couldn't find a way to get a Noble address from the app to send it a few Noble.
Anyone got it working ? Do you know if it stacks too ?

On the other side, I installed the Windows wallet and it started syncing right away .. Hope it doesn't take too much space on my HDD. It's been downloading for an hour now.. And also another question, do I have to let it up and running to stack ??

I agree,  the decrease of WAVE is mainly due to the decrease of BTC imho. All altcoins have fallen, not only WAVE. For me, as long as there will be an uncertainty about BTC, all altcoin will continue to suffer more or less.
