I am trying to setup a mining pool with 2 algorithms. I have 2 data directory, 2 different conf files. When I start the second process the debug.log shows
CDBEnv::Open: LogDir=/home/test/.digibytescrypt/database ErrorFile=/home/test/.digibytescrypt/db.log 2017-11-27 19:38:22 Selected Algo: scrypt 2017-11-27 19:38:22 Unable to bind to [::]:12024 on this computer. DigiByte Core is probably already running. 2017-11-27 19:38:22 Unable to bind to 0.0.0.0:12024 on this computer. DigiByte Core is probably already running. 2017-11-27 19:38:22 Error: Unable to bind to 0.0.0.0:12024 on this computer. DigiByte Core is probably already running. 2017-11-27 19:38:22 Error: Failed to listen on any port. Use -listen=0 if you want this.
Is it possible to run 2 digitbyte processes on the same server so that 2 algo could be mined at the same time?
I installed https://github.com/emarkproject/eMark The wallet is synced and has the same block count and same difficulty as the block explorer http://blockexplorer.deutsche-emark.org/ My yiimp pool shows the block reward is 0.5. This is the only coin installed that has the wrong block reward. Console shows getmininginfo
ok we edit the code to force it to use blockvalue of 500000. The reward is showing 0.5 instead of 50. How to fix? getmininginfo { "blocks": 1525287, "currentblocksize": 1000, "currentblocktx": 0, "difficulty": { "proof-of-work": 8281074.7037026, "proof-of-stake": 848.71698722, "search-interval": 16 }, "blockvalue": 500000, "netmhashps": 378371755.61846, "netstakeweight": 481014508853.52, "errors": "", "pooledtx": 0, "stakeweight": { "minimum": 0, "maximum": 0, "combined": 0 }, "stakeinterest": 38000, "testnet": false }

On coinwarz it shows the block reward is 50.

Would anyone be interested if I created a POS mining pool for B3 and other coins so that we can share in the stakes without needing to buy large amounts of coins? Then I would take care of wallets, sync, forks etc.
Ian
I'd be interested unless a POS mining pool required moving coins to a 3rd party wallet.
Found a staking pool for B3. Has anyone used this?

In order to get the stakes working faster we need more coins in a wallet. If we pool our coins together into 1 wallet then we should get the daily stakes. How to do this without using a 3rd party wallet?
I am still trying to fully understand POS, but I thought it was created so no matter how much is in your wallet, whether it is 1.000 or 100.000, you get 10.000% return per year in this period (which amounts to something like 1,27% per day) on average. Average being the clue.
Am I completely wrong?
I have 1150 in my B3 wallet and no stake payment for 11 days. Large count of coin can get daily payments.

Re: [ANN] <808> sha256 pos/pow 17%+ pos eligible after 8.08 days
My 808 Wallet has 360k. Minting for 24 days but still not staked yet. Has been showing probably within 24 hours of 100% for a few days now. Probably within 10 min showing 10.92%. What is the longest period it could take to stake?
Ian
check your block using coin control instead of the minting tab
Click on the settings tab in your wallet and then options, a box will pop up with some options now click on Display. You will see 2 options and the box you want to check is "Display coin control features (experts only)" once done click apply then okay. Now once you have done that and closed the pop up window click on "Send coins" tab in your wallet and you should see the Coin control features Click the "Inputs" tab and a window will pop up then you will see Tree mode and List mode. Click list mode.
ok I can see Coin Control. I see 1 line with my amount, address, coin days 6210666. I can get the transaction id. What do I do now?
10 min probably changed down to 10.87% now. Shows green transaction is mature, age 25. How much longer before it stakes or am I doing something wrong?
