Daily MA200. My forecast changed to bearish when we were under it. Now the opposite situation. Net breakdown confirmed by prominent volumes. Here you can also note the fact of breaking up the weekly week. Long-term prognosis: bullish. New heights worth waiting in 12-18 months. (Google Translate)

Looks like we followed the arrow up instead of down.
there are two choices. The first option. $ 500 is an increase to 1160 And the second option. $ 500 is likely to fall to 160 The first choice. Is greater than the second. Good luck
BTC will soon appear in 1160
PS: its his first BTC chart update since the one above 2 years ago
Nice! Even if he doesn't reopen this officially, just that statement alone reemphasizes his previous analysis from last year on the Historical III. That being said, just scrolling through his analysis from last year does make me miss his updates.
masterluc thank you so much for your advice and your estimates. What is your price estimate for this moon discovery? And at timeframe do you estimate that the rocket will land?
I expect bubble series in coming years. The first one starts now. First bubble target should be lower than ATH.
Bro, any idea why it's important step for bitcoin till mid-sept. ?
i dont know why sept
Just thought about what you posted on masterluc's thread about global capital flows. It'll be interesting to see how things play out with bitcoin in relation to Armstrong's/Socrates' 2015.75, the False Move & Phase Transition.
i also have biases from MACRO stuff from Martin Armstrong's thread on global capital flows, private assets, gold etc. Basically, BTC will rise well with other asset classes in its category when major global markets start exhibiting weakness.
Large volume dumps don't seem to be able to bring the price down very far anymore. Do you guys think the trend has reversed for good and we are in a slow Bull market?
4th break attempt. Very promising, watching day close. Target 360 on success.
Hello masterluc Is this target confirmed ? or we need more clear break out? thanks
Not me! I think the best you can hope for, right now, is something similar to the November '14 or May '14 rally. The linear trend line is broken, but imo, the log trend line is the more important one and I don't think it's that important either. There were 3 or 4 trend lines that have been broken over the last 14 months that only resulted in a suckers rally. Then you have the rising trend line since early 2011 that broke in January, which probably trumps any declining TL over the last year.
So what we are looking for to declare the final low? Impulse from the lows instead of zig-zag?
If masterluc's TA & track record means anything (which to me it certainly does), when he appears to be cautiously bullish (hopefully I'm not misreading 'promising' or '360') after being so bearish since the ATH, he's certainly got my attention; especially at such a pivotal moment/point on the charts...
Great point though RyNinDaCleM; I too have concerns about that overshoot that not only broke through the bottom of the wedge, but through that lower long-term trendline support. I guess the important thing to remember is, don't fight the trend, once price action shows us which direction it wants to push the market. #RideTheWave
Any update on where are we now? Is this the bottom?
Let's put it this way, if $150 isn't the bottom, then god help anyone still holding coins... and hello double digit BTC.
$150 is a really really strong support level, breaching this would mean capitulation. I've even bought some coin at $160-$170, so if I see that potentially happen, I will be selling these new coins along with everyone else.
And what would this mean for longterm potential if we get to double digits again? Isn't this supposed to happen in C wave (death and despair)? You know it's bad, when the Gavin is selling his bitcoins and investing in stock market, Bitstamp CEO is buying cows and farm.
How's it looking now guys ? Might this be the throw over we're seeing now, or is this the start of the bull move ? That's always tricky to judge I guess - bull trap or throw over ?
The 'throw-over' scenario mentioned would be bullish. The example charts posted are for the bearish case, masterluc said to flip them.
hum so the throw over already occured when we went sub previous 266$ ATH?
I believe we're currently within that throw-over masterluc mentioned as a possibility back on the 4th, which began with the breakdown at 245. If 225 doesn't hold here, the market will likely test 200 (195-205 range, with 205 being my personal buy target). So far though, his hypothesis seems to be unfolding the way he indicated...

A bit strange seeing BTC-e higher than the rest...
All I'm saying is he's a witty technical analysis genius.

Interesting to go back to the beginning of this thread (even on his previous one https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=131065.0), see the charts masterluc posted & read his thoughts on the wave count as it played out last year. This one especially, lol:

Awesome work Trolololo! I actually came across this thread last week & with this recent movement in price, I figured it deserved a bump.

I remember coming across this a few years ago, while doing my due-diligence/research for stock & forex trading. Here's just one of the links that come up when you Google 'trading, technical analysis & the moon phases' or something similar:
