Re: Improving web3's through telecommunication.

Jambo is a nice project. It's indeed a fascinating initiative, especially considering the project is more focused on bridging the digital divide in African nations, allowing more people to access the internet and digital services whereby opening new opportunities for users, promoting a culture of crypto literacy. The fact that they initiate a DeFi mobile device makes it more interesting
Yeah, Jambo’s definitely doing something different. Bridging the digital divide and pushing Web3 adoption in Africa is a huge deal. Saw $J in Bitget’s premarket, it’s already at $1.43 with solid volume. Feels like people are catching on early, and with all their features like the multi-chain wallet and dApp store, it’s got potential. Let’s see how it plays out after the listing.

Re: DeSci Projects and Crypto Funding: A Risk Worth Taking
by

DeSci sounds cool, but not many people are putting attention to it. Also, not many people are in demand to the anything related to the biotech. This sector is still having a lot of potential for growth and still unexplored sector at this moment.

The problem is i'm not really sure DeSci is solving the existing problems. We have tons of academics regularly doing research, but they rarely solving the existing problem. This doubting me DeSci's capability to do better than what academics did.  i'd see it as the next wave to FOMO.

DeSci is still new, and skepticism is fair. There’s actually an X Space happening soon that’s diving into how $BIO and the DeSci ecosystem tackle biotech funding and research gaps. I’ll be joining, it’s free to tune in, and there are rewards for participating too. Might be worth checking out if you’re as curious as I am

Re: How do you intend to get liquidity quicker this year.

Anyway, that's not why I'm here. Since it's the new year, how would you approach the market to access liquidity? Would you go for prop firms, trading competitions, vouchers, or strictly focus on building your capital to a decent amount?

Last year, I tried building up from a $200 capital. I managed to grow it to $2,000 in about five months trading SMC with specific alts. But I must admit, the discipline required was top-notch. Not sure if I could pull that off again! 😅 I might explore prop firms or competitions this time around. What about you?
At my current state, it's a bit hard to find some money to use for trading.

Last year, I used the rewards that I got from airdrops to trade, and maybe that will be one of my options this year as well. I also thought of using the rewards that I'm getting on participating those prediction contests on "Games and Rounds" board, and a portion of my rewards in my current signature campaign just to increase my liquidity.

Making your initial capital to x10 isn't the easiest thing to do. I mean doubling your capital is hard already especially if you don't have enough skills. I guess my goal for this year is just to have a consistent profit on a monthly basis. As for prop firm that you said, wouldn't it a bit risky especially you're using other people's money to do it?
Using airdrops and rewards is a solid way to get started, I’ll that a smart move. I’m with you on the x10 goal; it’s tough out here. Consistent monthly profit is definitely the way to go.

If you’re looking to boost liquidity, maybe try out trading competitions? There’s a January one with a $10,000 prize pool I saw on BG , I’ll be trying it out as well as I see it as a chance to test my skills without heavy risk.

For people that is hearing DeSci for the first time, it is a Decentralized Science (DeSci) that has the potential to revolutionize the way scientific research is funded and conducted. By leveraging blockchain technology and cryptocurrency, and it can promote transparency, accessibility, and community-driven innovation.

Science will always find a way in any industry because science encompasses everything. I'm sure many DeSci-based projects will be backed by usage, but expect developers with bad intentions will try to exploit this niche, so we have to dig deep like we've always been doing everytime a new concept is presented in the industry.
When you incorporate an established sector into a high-risk investment market, expect manipulation to satisfy the needs of the investors.
Totally agree, science will always push through. but yeah, DeSci isn’t immune to the usual crypto risks. That’s why projects like $BIO stand out for me. They’re not just hype; they’ve got real use cases and solid community backing. Been watching it closely on binance launchpool and decided to grab some too via bitget . staying grounded and doing the research is key in a space like this.

Re: What’s next for Malaysian Ex-Bybit users ?
by

on 31/12/2024, 17:33:02 UTC
Well I will tell the Malaysian Ex-Bybit users, welcome to the club. Nigeria about last year kicked out Binance exchange out of Nigeria and we were faced with the same situation. In this case, it is the reverse as it is only Bybit that remained and most of us Nigerians started to use them for trading and P2P services. I don't know about the Malaysian situation but there will be other exchanges that are still going to be in business so users can switch to them. Least I forget, please don't leave funds you cannot afford to lose in a centralized exchange. Thank you.
lol You’re spot on about adapting. Malaysians still have options like Bitget, which has been pretty reliable for trading and P2P. And yeah, never forget, funds on exchanges should always be kept to a minimum for safety.

Re: How do you spot new launches and get in early?
by
Ikem22
on 18/12/2024, 08:06:47 UTC
Hi everyone, happy Sunday!

If you're into web3, crypto trading, or even just a degen on the hunt for the next big thing, you’ll know how important it is to get quick access to new launches. It’s a huge advantage and can really give you an edge. But let’s be honest—the process isn’t always easy. Searching for on-chain data, sifting through information, and trying to filter out the noise can be overwhelming.

Thankfully, things have gotten a bit easier with new innovations. For example, Twitter can be a great tool to spot new projects, though finding exactly what you’re looking for can still be a challenge. Platforms like CoinMarketCap (CMC) and CoinGecko (CG) also have tons of data, but again, filtering through it all isn’t always straightforward, and it’s easy to miss out on opportunities.

Then there are platforms like LaunchX, which give you access to project tokens at the launch stage. They’re kind of like Launchpads, but in my opinion, they’re more sophisticated. Recently, ecosystems like HyperLiquid, AI, and SUI have introduced similar features too, which is pretty exciting.

So, here’s my question: How do you discover new projects, whether you’re an experienced web3 user or just starting out? Do any of these methods work for you, or do you have other tips to share?

the struggle to find legit new projects is real. I scanned through LaunchX on Bitget lately, it’s not just early access, but the way they structure token sales and even free airdrops makes it super practical. Cuts out a lot of the noise and saves me from chasing random leads.

Been eyeing their $FUEL event/Poolx, it’s got solid hype and looks like one of those projects that could pop giving how users are happy with their airdrop allocation..What’s your go-to for spotting early movers?

Everyday I look at XRP's chart I fr just start laughing like a maniac. Because tell me how it went from around 0.4 to almost $3 In around a month?? https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/xrp/ . It's just beautiful and what's best is that this might still not be the end, so nothing can make me sell now, people on X are going wild and I saw an exchange having an XRP event as well but thats just normal Twitter behavior, people trying to capitalize on the hype and popularity. Hopefully we can see XRP reach $3 in the coming days with all this hype .Enough about this, how many of you are holding XRP and how long have you been holding it?
Man, XRP’s chart really is a wild ride.,makes me wanna frame it like a piece of art! I wasn’t lucky enough to ride that $0.4 to $3 wave back then, but holding now feels like a gamble worth taking. The hype is real, and with all this buzz, who knows? $3 might just be the beginning.

Also, you’re right about people capitalizing on the hype, saw an airdrop event giving out some XRP and others on bitget. Damn! Seems like another free shot to stay on track with the trend .

Re: Which Top L2 Coin Will Break Out in This Cycle?
by
Ikem22
on 24/11/2024, 05:28:18 UTC

Let's shift our focus from memecoins to tokens with actual utility, like layer 2 projects. According to CoinGecko, the top L2 projects by market capitalization are Polygon (MATIC), Arbitrum (ARB), Mantle (MNT), Optimism (OP), and Polygon (MATIC).

Could we see newer L2 projects like Zircuit gain traction, especially with its EVM compatibility and enhanced security protocols? https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/zircuit/

What do you think??.
I totally agree memecoins had their fun, but now it’s all about projects that actually solve real problems. I’ve been digging into Layer 2s too, and Zircuit has been catching my attention lately. The zk-rollup tech and EVM compatibility make a lot of sense with how Ethereum is scaling.

Also, the Launchpool on Bitget is a nice bonus, staking to earn $ZRC while getting in early feels like a solid move. It’s still new, but with everything happening in the space right now, Zircuit could definitely gain traction.

Re: If Only I Can Take Back the hand of time in crypto
by

At a time we had an opportunity to mine the Doge coin when it was still new and many people misused that opportunity and them boom! Doge saw a huge success making doubters regret their action, I believe we must have learnt our lessons and even if by now we happen to earn some of Doge coin for free, I belive we'd hold it tightly, same goes to Bitcoin, hahaha, so funny now we laugh about it, but truth be told, we need to take opportunities more seriously. I have seen Diamond Thursday even too where participants needed to trade BTC to share some 250k of Doge coin. It seemed to me as though the exchanges have seen people's pain and wanted to give them another opportunity to have what they've missed.

All in all, lessons learned, I'd learn to be patient and think twice before passing my judgements, what was your experience and are you taking any step to redeem the good ol times?

I came across a post on X, and it got me thinking about how we all missed the boat on Doge back in the day. It’s funny how we laugh about it now, but at the time, a lot of people didn’t take it seriously. Fast forward to today, and I noticed that with events like Diamond Thursday (I think it’s Bitget doing this?), they’re offering another chance to earn some DOGE just by trading BTC. It’s a reminder to really pay attention to these opportunities before they pass by again!

Re: News has it that Min Lin Is Now The Business Officer To Drive Growth In America.
by

I have been observing the Crypto industry lately and it is becoming more stable than what we usually thought of it. At some points, some doubted and said some exchanges can't last long and some other things, but we see the reverse was the case. They are thriving.

Just recently, I got to see on the news that Min Lin is now Bitget's Chief Business Officer, this is another great move because he has an extensive experience and strategic vision for growth, particularly in Latin America, and this shows the level of commitment of these exchanges to thrive well and stay relevant than what I thought. I expect to keep seeing things like this till crypto is widely adopted all over the world. I believe I can now ask, what do you think about such developments? https[Suspicious link removed]cutive-to-drive-growth-in-latin-america.
Good observation! The industry definitely seems to be finding its footing, and seeing experienced leaders step into key roles could mean more growth ahead. Curious to see how these moves shape things over time

Re: Seeking for Good Market analysis or Stablecoins opportunities.
by

on 20/10/2024, 16:43:36 UTC
The market has been looking very good lately, and traders likely have made some profits. Many of them are probably holding stablecoins right now.

I'm holding stablecoins and monitoring the next market move. Hopefully, the direction will be clearer by Monday.

I would appreciate any insight on the current crypto market situation. Also, I'm curious if there's any way to trade or hold stablecoins and enjoy passive income instead of just holding as I am now.
I’ve been watching the market too, and holding stablecoins seems like the safe move for now. If you're looking for a way to earn while holding them, you might want to check out opportunities like APR vouchers. There's this opportunity  Bitget vip carnival where you can get a 15% APR voucher just by depositing assets and achieving VIP status during their limited-time carnival. It’s a nice way to earn some passive income while waiting for the market to make its move. Plus, you can trade futures to potentially win some usdt in bonuses, which could be an added advantage if the market picks up.
Might be worth a look

Just by looking at OP's post history. I can already smell a rat that he is up to no good here. Just trying to shill for a few bucks. I saw their shilling campaign instruction on discord. Also, those downloads and usage statistics could all be exaggerated as they could have promised users rewards for some tasks
You sound like you have a personal problem with exchanges or even bitget , when did sharing of informations I tagged useful become a problem? Been here reading updates and decided to share one and you tagging my effort has paid ? Smh

I clicked on the link that you have on your list above and I saw Bitget wallet. Bitget wallet is not a new wallet at all. It was created in 2018. The reason many people are using it now is because it is supporting almost all cryptocurrencies that people need. Even it is having bitcoin lightning wallet. I have downloaded it before and saw that I did not see a coin that the wallet is not supporting. But the down side is that it is a close source wallet which is the reason I can not use it.

Been a closed source wallet doesn't really matter in as much as security and safety of assets/funds is guaranteed. There are many other closed source wallets like Atomic wallet, Exodus, ZenGo and many others. Even Trust wallet is partially closed source. But like you said they’ve varieties of tokens which I find it as a plus to them

A new player in crypto app rankings
by
Ikem22
on 18/10/2024, 07:31:52 UTC
The crypto wallet space has been changing rapidly. While MetaMask and Trust Wallet have long been the go-to options, another player surged to the second spot in September, amassing nearly 6 million downloads.
https://x.com/CryptoRank_io/status/1846497965625467232?t=L4Tbo7kiu3yneLtxfbFlEw&s=19

It’s interesting to see this growth, especially considering that many users are wary of exchange wallets. But with over 40 million users and its user base doubling in just six months, something is clearly driving this adoption. This rapid rise puts it in a strong position to challenge the bigger names soon. It makes me wonder what’s behind this shift.

I totally get where you're coming from. It feels like some projects are just recycling the same concepts with minor tweaks, which can be frustrating when you're looking for real innovation. But I agree, there have been some exciting developments too, like the speed improvements with deBridge. I think there’s so much untapped potential in DeFi, and we’re just scratching the surface. It’ll be interesting to see which projects will really push the boundaries next! What do you think could be the next big breakthrough?

Struggling with market volatility?
by
Ikem22
on 12/08/2024, 14:11:41 UTC
Imagine you’re riding a strong BTCUSDT long position, but suddenly the market takes a dip. Your margin starts looking shaky, and you’re facing a potential liquidation. You’re not keen on selling your ETH just to cover this, especially since it’s part of your long-term strategy.

Here’s where a Loan feature might be useful, Instead of selling your assets in a pinch, you can pledge your ETH to borrow USDT. This way, you can shore up your margin and avoid liquidation, all without touching your existing crypto holdings.

The beauty of this feature is that you get to keep your crypto and still access liquidity. You can use the borrowed USDT to secure your position or even explore other opportunities on the platform. When the market recovers, you simply repay the loan and interest.

It’s a practical solution for those unexpected moments when you need to act fast but don’t want to disrupt your long-term plans. It’s crazy that I just only found this out ahahaha on bingx , right informations sure makes a man journey quicker, easier and sweeter. This strategy has proven to be a useful tool for managing my positions during volatile periods. DYOR

Have any of you tried using this Loan feature? Which CEX has the best offer?

Re: What's your take on hype on TON projects?
by
Ikem22
on 19/07/2024, 03:45:09 UTC
There will be many more meme coin created into the TON blockchain spaces once $DOGS turns out to be a massive success but the fact that $DOGS isn't just random meme coin but instead tries to support charity is commendable.

but surprisingly right now most of the project that made up the entire ecosystem of TON are still projects with product and games. so far I haven't seen meme coin hype in TON, and there are limited amount of meme coin that got large market cap. the only one that has interested me is probably Resitance Dog meme coin but the market cap isn't that impressive and the growth doesn't seem to be great.

https://i.postimg.cc/7YwX98tT/22352352.png

I think there's still a long way to go for TON blockchain to have meme coin hype as big as its competition (solana, base and ethereum).

You're absolutely right, truly it's intriguing how $DOGS aims to merge meme culture with charitable initiatives, it may stands out in the sea of new projects, I wouldn't want to get emotional about it. Personally, I've dabbled in meme coins occasionally, often stumbling upon them through airdrops or similar channels. I'm currently participating in $DOGS' Telegram tasks during their presale phase, testing my luck a bit there. I did hear about Resistance Dog, but like you mentioned, the market dynamics didn't quite align with what I was looking for at the time.

What's your take on hype on TON projects?
by
Ikem22
on 17/07/2024, 20:31:55 UTC
Since the launch of Notcoin on the TON chain, there’s been a noticeable uptick in Memecoins getting launched on TON. Traders are now actively jumping into their airdrops, which is surprising. I thought we all agreed memecoins are highly volatile and definitely not a stepping stone for newbies?

One newcomer that’s been getting a lot of buzz is $DOGS. Unlike many other Memecoins, $DOGS has a minimal entry barrier with few tasks required, making it accessible. According to their community announcement, $DOGS isn't just a joke. It’s designed to support orphanages and children's homes with all its sales revenue, continuing Spotty's charitable legacy. In just eight days, $DOGS has amassed over 2.3 million followers on Telegram, highlighting its strong community backing and potential.

What’s your take on this surge of Memecoins on TON? Do you think they’re shedding their scammy reputation? Can this shift in purpose change how Memecoins are perceived in the crypto community?
