This is quite unimaginable, with the rate of inflations having to earn the same salary for 30 years. All l take from this discussion is your patience, commitment. Not many people will do what you do, hats off.

Re: A Tale of Two Socialisms
by

While various countries have come close, no country can boast of being a purely capitalist or socialist country, not in the purest form anyway. There are aspects of socialism in capitalist countries and there is enough evidence of the price mechanism at work in socialist countries. l do agree with some of the points you make, but the conclusion is overly simplistic.
NO, true power doesn't lie behind the barrel of a gun. This was the thinking behind to race to amass weapons in the 70s and 80s, but going by that the USSR would still be existing. l could go on, but you get the drift.

l don't think it's all about trading big or big risks. It's not just risk, but calculated risks. And yes, having the capital is a necessary starting point for big investments and prosperity. The operational word is 'calculated' risk.

Re: Bitcoin is urgent. Argentina is printing free money too
by
Incodium Coin
on 23/04/2019, 01:53:25 UTC
America, for now, gets away with printing money  as they are a Reserve currency. The world does business in USD and this partially ensures that their money printing  (cough quantitative easing) can continue. The currency is used by everyone. Obviously this has limits as people start using Euro and others but we haven't hit that floor on the house of cards yet.

Argentina though... well I've visited the country and it is an awesome place, but no one, except aregentina would use their currency to do business. They are putting themselves at risk of very high inflation and recession at this rate.

You're spot on mate, really good explanation. May l add that the risk for the USD is increasing lately as we are witnessing an increasing trend of 'money swabs'. China and Japan, and a few other countries. this will allow these countries to trade without using the USD.

Re: Will Africa be a good place for crypto?
by
Incodium Coin
on 18/04/2019, 04:53:25 UTC
The introduction of crypto to African countries would further worsen their state of finances as most governments of theirs would find ways and means to jeorpadize the features of the technology just to satisfy their greed. In addition, most african countries have very low literacy rate and one common theme in crypto investments is doing your own research. So how do you expect countries with very low literacy rate to conduct background researches into some activities in crypto.
l am not sure what Africa you're referring to, but it's incorrect to throw a blanket over a whole continent and make rash conclusions. There is a burgeoning middle class in Africa that is adopting all the latest technology and thriving at it too. Yes, levels of literacy in some areas may be low, but only people who are willing and able to can adopt crypto. Hence, it doesn't necessarily translate to worsening conditions on the continent. Besides, how much research do people from developed countries or 'high literacy rate' countries actually do?

A thousand and one cards and online payment platforms, the fastest internet connectivity rate in the world, yet cash is still a necessity. Yes, there are shops that don't accept cash at all -NO Brand Shops-, but the reality is that sellers sometimes dread the processing fee, the VAT attached to card and receipt payments. So, it's either you pay $10 cash or $13 with a card. And given this choice, most consumers will prefer to save $3 by using cash.

Banks may be more prudent now, but back in 2017/2018, many banks were heavily invested in crypto. They cashed out at the height when the government began putting in place measures to regulate crypto. Blockchain technology will serve even banks.

Incodium Lines Up COINPASS Exchange listing and Token Swap contract

Incodium is set to achieve another milestone by listing on the CoinPass Exchange in April. This move is expected to give the project a forward push going into the second quarter of 2019 as Incodium continues on its mission of safeguarding investors against hacking damages on cryptocurrency exchanges and other security breaches.
The CoinPass Exchange is the first in Korea to provide a leverage system that allows investors to purchase as much funds as possible several times over through a margin guarantee, and a system that can make profits even when the markets are down through short sales. This makes CoinPass very different from other Exchanges in the market, and an attractive proposition to cryptocurrency investors.

In December 2018, Payment Korea Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of CoinPass Exchange, received an investment of 5 Billion won from AlphaNet Technology LLC in Japan to promote social innovation through the commercialization of personal information protection solutions. These solutions are expected to revolutionize existing supply chain systems, adding to the appeal of CoinPass as a top tier Cryptocurrency Exchange.

Incodium and CoinPass Exchange will establish a close relationship that will allow them to swap a   certain   percentage   of tokens reserved for the compensation of hacking incidents on Cryptocurrency Exchange through a token swap and subsequently strengthen cooperation to protect investors. This swap of INCO and COP will enable both tokens to quickly and accurately respond to investors hacking damage incidents. The Exchange Security Monitoring Service under development at Incodium is designed to prevent future hacking attempts and to provide a security solution that ensures airtight security data, assets, and transactions of investors.

Re: Technology improves we work more.
by
Incodium Coin
on 20/03/2019, 02:03:43 UTC
Yes, with the development of technology, it actually makes it easier for us at work, so jobs that usually take hours, now can only be done quickly, and there are many benefits of current technology.
Do you not realize it, there are indeed many workplaces currently that have relied on technology that was originally carried out by humans. With the elimination of human workers, it will make the unemployment rate increase. Technological developments are indeed very positive, but if more and more workers are laid off because of the system of reducing employees, then the development of technology in employment is very detrimental.
Good point, except you're neglecting the bigger pictures. Technology, machines that are replacing workers need workers to make them, service them, sell them. In actual fact, the jobs aren't lost, they're just moved from one sector to the other. That said, society has to facilitate workers' adaptation to these new skills, retraining, and upgrading to keep them relevant.

Hello guys,
l just stumbled on a report to the UN Security Council on the extensive involvement of North Korea in hacking incidents over the past 4 years; notably, the NEM hacking that stole more than $520m dollars. Do you see this happening again in the future? what does this mean for the future of crypto?

Wannabe investors? Get in, do what you can to get a quick windfall, get out fast. Oh, and at the slightest sign of trouble, they sell out and move on. This kills markets, all kinds of markets, not just the crypto mkt. Speculators have a negative effect, they live on the wild swings in the value of crypto.

Bitcoin isn't a magic wand that we can wave around and make unemployment disappear. It takes more than BTC to solve the unemployment issue; a host of job creation policies and investment in infrastructure will certainly help.

Re: More Countries Continue To Show Support For Blockchain Technology
by
Incodium Coin
on 21/01/2019, 01:21:05 UTC
Blockchain technology is the present and future of a lot of processes in the public service. From maritime, elections, and other administrative processes, the use of blockchain technology will both facilitate the process and save time and money. There is also the issue of corruption, hopefully blockchain technology can serve to reduce bribery too.
