Re: Swap eth on trust wallet for ethereum supported alts...failed?
by

“Error! Sorry we are unable to locate this Tnxhash”

There was enough eth for the trade and for fees. I also have the coins added to trust prior to attempting the swap.

Swap eth on trust wallet for ethereum supported alts...failed?

I added eth to trust wallet. I’ve also added several altcoins (reef, forth, lto, and 3-4 others) and swapped a part of eth for each of them. However, every transaction failed and said error. Does anybody know why?

Hodl litecoin or exchange for ethereum?
by

As a note I have both litecoin and ethereum, it seems eth will surge once July approaches. Should I continue to hodl litecoin seeing as it hasn’t even hit its ATH yet? I was hoping Litecoin would have shot up sooner so I could get more eth before it decided to shoot up, but oh well.

Re: Help with trust wallet eth bep2?
by

I can exchange my eth bep2 for eth bep20 when I click on “swap to smart chain” but it requires BNB for the fee. Would this be the best option? I don’t want to continuously burn currencies up just moving around looking for a solution. The end game is to have something I can use to exchange for other currencies (whereas currently eth bep2 can’t be used to exchange)

I have both eth and bnb in my wallet, as well as binance smart chain. But the exchange is under “eth bep2”. Now there seemingly isn’t an option to move it away from that, unless I’m missing something obvious.

Help with trust wallet eth bep2?
by
Indiladhar
on 28/04/2021, 14:44:12 UTC

So I have a trust wallet with several altcoins. I created an account on binance and bought some BNB, transferred to trust wallet and was trying to get some small altcoins but realized they’re on the Eth network so I tried to switch binance for Eth. It ended up giving me “eth bep2”. Now I’m unable to trade that for anything or even locate it when I try to switch currencies. Obviously I’m not seeing what’s going on and what I should be doing to fix it so if anyone could help a noob out I would appreciate it. The coins I was trying to buy were LTO, VISR & XTK. However, if the eth bep2 is now only able to trade with binance smart chain coins, I might change what I purchase- assuming coins on the binance smart chain are compatible on trust wallet.

Thanks in advance for any help or advice given to  noob!

Silly question but must clarify, I have the tron wallet on my desktop. It’s from the tron website. An update is due but I have coins held, would I need to remove coins to update in case they disappear or would it be okay to continue?

Also I’m assuming the tron wallet supports BTT, do I need to do anything to obtain them?

Re: Ethereum fork for short term profit?
by

My reasoning: it is better to purchase now when the price is low for me. Even if it drops, I still purchased at a low price and can just hold for profit in future. If I don’t buy, and the price rises, I’ve missed out AND the price is now higher for when I want to buy.

If that is the case, smarter to wait until the loss and then purchase at a cheaper price?

Ethereum fork for short term profit?
by

Disclaimer: I already own 15 or so different altcoins for long term hold, that won’t sell for several years.

I’m looking to purchase before the fork, investing maybe $1k, for a short term profit. Hoping the prices rises, I can sell before the dump. If there is the drop in price, these can also be held longer term until profitable.

Thoughts?

I don’t mind the decline, eth is a promising project with a bright future and am happy to hold long term. A purchase at current price will still profit in 5 years time. But if prices are dropping further, it’s better to wait for a lower price.

We are all waiting for the growth to come, not just for ethereum but the market as a whole. Trying to purchase at a low will be beneficial but nobody knows when we hit bottom and when market improves. I missed the $81 purchase, and am unsure whether I should purchase at current price or if prices will drop further.

⭐ Merited by Ratimov (1)
We’ve read news about Russia investing in bitcoin, as well as bitcoin accounts becoming active, and word of whales returning. Chinese New Year also approaches. We’ve also expected ethereum price to spike leading up to split. However, prices remain low. What’s the likelihood that ethereum will rise following the hardfork? Will the trend continue or will this rise be temporary? I have a feeling that we’ll see another drop, and not see a rise until 2nd quarter at the earliest. However, if there is a chance for an ethereum growth, today might be the last day to purchase.

Ethereum purchase soon at or below $100?
by
Indiladhar
on 02/01/2019, 02:01:07 UTC
I’m looking to purchase ethereum but would prefer to do so at or below $100. I missed when it dropped. Is it likely to drop to around $100 again soon or will it continue to rise?

I’ve also looked at litecoin, $30-35 seems reasonable but I am unsure whether it will show the same increase that ethereum will.

This purchase is likely for a 2-5 year hold.

arkblock site doesn’t accept participants from US (amongst other countries). Is the only way to invest is to wait until Feb 3rd for the token sale? Does anybody know where we could get tokens on said date?

Po.et purchase with Ethereum?
by
Indiladhar
on 16/01/2018, 17:10:05 UTC
Po.et seems to have great potential, I’m unsure whether I should trade in an ether for Po.et. I already have 10.5 ether and 3k Po.et but it’s price has dropped and it looks like a good time to buy. Just looking for opinions and hoping to catch Po.et before any future surges.
