Yea, to a certain degree for those who committed heinous crimes and are in no position to be rehabilitated but it should be used only in rare cases only

Re: Money can buy happiness?

Well money can buy happiness to a certain extent because without money you cannot buy the basic needs like food, clothing, house, etc. You will understand how happy you would be when you can buy a piece of bread after being hungry for 2 - 3 days. Beyond the needs, I don't think it matters at all. What matter more is the inner peace that can bring happiness, the real happiness, so always smiling  Grin

Re: punishment for rapists

In India for the past few years there are many rape incidents happen and there are no safely young women in this country. The rapists are not even punished and are left freely. I do not know how will the victims lead their life after such incident has happen in their life. In some countries, the rapists are let off freely if they marry the victim. In some countries, the rapists are given death sentence.

According to you, what can be the best punishment for these rapists so that no one else should think of raping a women. I like the punishment which is given in most of the Muslim countries - hanged to death in public. Do you think that this is fair or they should marry the victim???
Yes, rape and other form of sexual assault are becoming very common these days in India and sometimes the victim is given the fault of being raped. Death penalty is not the solution for rape. If death penalty could act as a deterrent, then there would be no case of homicide or no case rape in Muslim countries. We have enough laws to punish rapist but the problem is not implementing them properly due to various factors like political pressure, caste system, money power, muscle power and so on. What is needed is fast track court to punish the accuse as fast as possible. In addition to it rehabilitation of both the victim and the accuse should be done, though separately.  Having said that if the victim happens to be my near and dear, then no need for going to the court because I will just kill him  Grin (take it as a joke)

Think of it, Bitcoins do not have a tax.

maybe you need to rethink that when you cash out your giant bitcoin profits. depending on where you live you're gonna find it certainly does have tax and your ass will be nailed to the wall if they find out you haven't paid it.

if buying and selling are done online using bitcoins then there is no way the govt is going to tax

Re: Bitcoin Fees - $59! Holy shit!

It's normal bro.few days ago I also faced this kind of issue.I withdraw from an exchange platform about $500 and the transaction fees were $5+ worth of Bitcoin. I think the miner is now so greedy.they charged us a huge amount of bitcoin for every transaction it's very painful for Bitcoin user.I want to see your transaction TXD, please provide it here.
Bloody miners are ripping off the users of Bitcoin. They way I see it is that it's doomed to fail with these ridiculous fees. Some other altcoin is going to become the major crypto that has no fees or absolutely tiny fees.

THIS.
Bitcoin fees really are ridiculous, I hope that this somehow gets fixed soon.
Paying $2 fees when sending $10-15 payments it's absolute nonsense.
If that is the amount of txn fee, then number of users will come down and prices of bitcoin will come down i guess

It depends on the country you live. In some countries it is legal while in some it is neither legal nor illegal. If it is not illegal, then automatically it become legal  Grin
