Bitcoin is still one of the most matured coin on the market. Though I have thought it's dominance will wane but we have to understand that it's maturity institutional investors want not something that can be kicked about by volatility anyhow

I feel your pain man. Many of those rating sites are nonsense. Imagine a project my buddy was doing it's bounty turned out to be a scam after he had earlier seen the ratings for the project to be high on a popular rating site. After the project turned out to be a scam, he went back n saw the rating has been reduced.

What should investor do with such service?

Before you embark on any bounty,  ensure you read the white paper and understand it to ascertain?  If it makes sense n it's achievable. Next is the team if they are true.

Bounty manager is also there to consider

This affected crypto but businesses just had to step up to fight against the crimes on their  platforms

Re: Token bounty must hold or sell?
by
Inspector2580
on 02/06/2018, 20:14:43 UTC
Many bounty campaign give token..often token bounty has not been paid .. you already exist in the market .. after the price paid it down drastically ... if we hold the token .. later will be able to rise or even added down the price of token bounty

Seriously man your english is off. But I have been able understand what you mean.

Why would you do a bounty?  Because you like the project and it can grow in value.

This is enough reason to hold your tokens unless you wanna sell part to fund your lifestyle

Re: Are you bullish that EOS has the potential to beat Ethereum?

The hype surrounding EOS is just too much. It hasnt release some good lines of codes on Github compared to Ethereum.

There is possibility the DAO hack that split the ETH network could also happen.

But let's watch and see

Re: Uneducated people join Cryptocurrency?
by

Reading through the threads you will see several hundreds of comments which shows lack of or limited knowledge.

Saying they are uneducated could be because their English isn't polish like the English people.

Also, if you can make some good 2000$ monthly doing bounties, this is some good money anywhere in the world. So saying the educated are from Third World countries is racist

I heard some rumors about the creation of a Cryptocurrency from Russia's Central Bank, is that official ? Any other country already have a official cryptocurrency, or released a ICO ?

Many countries has expressed interest in creating their own cryptocurrency but the only one with the political will to have done it is Venezuela.

Though it was kicked against by the legislative arm of govt but the executive still went ahead to create it.

Do you will forget your father if something bad happen to him? same thing happend to bitcoin because he the father of cryptocurrency no matter how bad he is no matter what he do he still your father. There no another Crypto like ethereum with all his token if bitcoin never created

I really love the FATHER reply you used to respond to this baseless thread title. Bitcoin has created an amazing industry through its underlying technology.

Calling bitcoin useless because it's fees are high is like saying Lamborghini or Ferrari or Bughatti or any other cars of this class are worthless because they have high maintenance cost.

Re: Not every blockchain project has a good future
by
Inspector2580
on 27/05/2018, 23:04:43 UTC
Hi,

I see a lot of great projects..
But also a lot of project which I don’t like.

Here is why
Not every project needs blockchain. Or not every blockchain project will survive.
In a project you need also a good businessplan and marketing.

Example
I saw Friendz which is a social media project. Nice plan but don’t think it will replace Facebook because
it is in blockchain. You need a lot more.. A LOT MORE to best orher companies with a centralized system.

Be carefull and good luck with your investment

you are very correct. it is a shame that projects which does not require the blockchain to do their work are getting onboard the crypto craze and are doing their own stuff. it all comes down to investors or contributors losing out their hard earned money...

i feel as if the craze is dieing out now though. let it go out so that good projects can stand to advance the blockchain technology.

Re: Why ETH compatible tokens and not BTC for Bounty Campaigns?
by
Inspector2580
on 27/05/2018, 22:24:36 UTC
i was even wondering about this. i have only heard of one project which paid bounty participants with ETH. all of them are not taking the line of paying in their native token.

this has the effect of washing down the price of the token once it touches an exchange. if the dont pay in their native token, then the prject token price would be preserved.

another thing is that i dont quite why and when they started selling tokens for over a 1USD. BEfore it was less than a cent. but during the december time, it sprang up to even over a dollar. guess it has dropped down to a stable value of 10cents right now.

if you understand the space very well, then you should try to reseaarch some good projects in decentralized exchanges which have small market capitalization as many has not been listed in centralized exchanges and are trading below ico prices. SHivom is one i know of. HElbiz is another. Shipchain was recently issued a cease and desist order by the authorities in South Carolina which they have responded to.

if you are not versed in the space, then go leaarn how to analyze projects. dont get into ico until you know what you are doing

Re: Bounty hunting - work or a hobby?
by
Inspector2580
on 27/05/2018, 22:10:02 UTC
I just posted a reply in another thread where the OP stated they considered bounty hunting was work with money paid to you for your time and resources, with it likened to running a small business. I felt rather that you’d ‘paid’ for the bounty tokens in your wallet with the time you’d used doing bounty tasks and reporting etc rather than with your own cryptocurrency or fiat, and that you needed to factor in as well the time wasted on other bounty campaigns where you didn’t get any reward/payment for your bounty work because the ICO didn’t make softcap or was unethical or a cashgrab or scam! In terms of whether bounty hunting should be seen as a part or full time job/small business or rather as a hobby where you may pick up a few dollars using your phone and computer and internet and time, I felt it would depend on each bounty hunter’s individual circumstances and prevailing tax and other laws in their country. I imagined that most bounty hunters here would treat it as a ‘hobby’ that may bring some reward of tokens that may or may not be worth anything, rather than as job giving predictable taxable income - but I’ve seen little discussion or information published about this however.

I’m interested in how bounty hunters here view their receiving of bounty tokens and the value from holding or selling them - as a hobby or as a job with taxable income? And also are bounty hunters aware of any tax or other ‘rules’ known to apply to tokens received or sold in the various countries we live in?

bounty hunting is no hobby.. how can i do something that adds economic benefit to another entity and call it hobby? it doesnt just cut it. thats like saying i can work all my life doing bounty just for the fun of doing it.
bounties is clearly work. that is why you see lots of participants on the sheets. because they are working tirelessly to earn a living. that is where the issue of multiple accounts came from too. to get more funds to finance their lives.

I think Ethereum will be worth $15000 or more in this year.
What you guys think ?

i really like your optimism but you have to be careful when making such kind of declaratives. ethereum could rise to which number but that is only due to alot of things. we cant speculate. the days of unreasonable speculations are gone. price increases are now fueled by actual deliverables now and not just by buying blindly.

I think i agree with the guy who said soon we would need AI to find out if news are fake or not. We have to be careful for the of information we spread as when we complain of FUD, we are truly the one spreading this fud
