After 5 posts and 4 hours on the forum, you can officially post here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=5.0

Better safe than sorry? It's only 5 posts and 4 hours, you might as well wait. You'll also receive better exposure and to the right people who are actually looking for things to buy.

instaDice - are you acquainted with instaBoost by any chance ?  Grin

I'm actually really new to the community, so I haven't heard of InstaBoost. I actually discovered Bitcoins earlier this year and I've been really intrigued by the whole idea of it... I decided to start focusing on creating more services to be used with Bitcoin and... here I am Smiley

Is coinbase safe?

if I sell my BTC to them how will I get my money via bank

ACH,or some other method like wire?
one of the trusted btc wallet out there, and the site is clean simple and professional. i created my 1st btc address there.

What's the difference between an exchange and a wallet? Sounds like CoinBase could be considered both. Also, why are people always looking for easy cash deposit places when you can just create a BTC address with Bitcoin-Qt and fund the address via Bitinstant cash deposit?

An exchange allows sellers and buyers to purchase currency from each other for the current market price (that's my rough understanding of it.) They make money by charging a small fee for each transaction. I think Coinbase can be considered both, seeing as they allow both the buying and selling of Bitcoins, as well as allowing you to store your coins in a nice safe place. I think Coinbase also allows merchants to take payments in Bitcoin as well, I read that they had something to do with OKCupid being able to accept Bitcoin. Fascinating service, I hope the best for them!

They're great -- I'm a huge fan. I've noticed that sometimes their sell prices can be drastically lower than the buy price, so keep an eye out for that, as you could probably sell your Bitcoins elsewhere for more money. This was last week during the crash, so I'm not sure if that affected anything (probably did.) I'm not sure if this is the case anymore, but I'd rather warn you and let you be aware of it potentially happening, than have you lose out on money for your Bitcoins.

Good luck!

Coinbase is good its clean and User friendly.

I also enjoy using Coinbase as well -- it's actually where I bought my first coins and store them (2-step authentication is awesome!) The only quarrel I have with them is their 10 btc/daily limit (Mt.Gox/BTC-e/other exchanges are better for buying large amounts of cryptos) - I've missed many opportunities to purchase at $50-$70 because of this. It's ok though, I'm still happy with their service and I'm still buying 10 btc/day* with them.

*Once I hit 30 days after my first purchase of 10 btc, it gets upgraded to 50 btc/day... I can't wait!!!

Over 62,000 BTC (over .51% of all bitcoins that exist, or 4.5 Million $) needed to hit 70. It ain't happening.

Prepare for liftoff.

It's at $90+ now, I guess it happened?

Hello Satoshionites,

I'm InstaDice and I wanted to sign-up to BitcoinTalk to introduce myself and to promote my instant-payout dice game, InstaDice (when it's ready to be launched in a couple of weeks.)

InstaDice aims to fill in the gaps for S.Dice and to one day become just as big in transactions and fame (dreams are wonderful things.) We'll fulfill your daily dice gambling needs in every aspect and I'll personally be there for every suggestion, question, or support issue you need. I'm not claiming that we'll be the best possible service right out of the gate, but with your help, I'd like to get us there.

Our goal is to eventually be one of the bigger services that are known for their stability, reliability and trustworthiness; a long-term entertainment service for the currency we know as Bitcoin. I look forward to rolling some dice with you all, for the short-term and the long-term.

Thanks,
InstaDice

P.S. If you have any questions, suggestions or concerns feel free to PM me!
