anyone else not able to login using 2FA? leaving the 2FA field blank gives me a missing 2FA error (obviously), using 2FA takes forever to load and finally redirects me to a cloudflare site telling me the requested site is offline.

Even if I can log in successfully, once I get to trying to make a trade it hangs and then eventually comes back with an invalid gauth message.  pretty frustrating, been trying to swap some of my 1/100 for 1/1 all morning

I might be closer to the webserver that you, or my connection may just be faster, but I can make 2FA work if I wait for a new auth code and send it ASAP.

I'm unable to get the /transfers to load at all. /security/*, /account, and /portfolio load fine now, most of the time, but /transfers won't load at all.

update 16 @ 2.41

Also, I'd like confirmation from friedcat that you own the shares prior to sending payment (and I'd like for the payment address for each winning to be made public to serve as proof of payment.

You're trying to screw burnside out of what, like BTC0.007-BTC0.008? Not only that but you're exposing yourself and whoever trades with you to a significantly higher risk (one of you not delivering) in order to save less than $1.00... Good luck...

This does feel a bit weird in fact...

Yeah, it sucks because if the bidder doesn't pay, I don't think there is any graceful way OP can resolve the auction in a way that everyone will be happy.

Not accusing you of anything op just does seem strange, would you agree?
Alright...  that's valid   :-/    If I was really set on doing that, I would have created a puppet account long ago though.  Ditch the bid then?  I feel bad, but I don't want anyone to feel like they're getting scammed.  A forum admin could always verify it.
Well if a forum admin verifies the bid, then that, for the most part clears my suspicions for #2 above

He did post on the forum, but he's locked out of the non-newbie forums until an admin whitelists him.  I posted this on the previous page:

I didn't see that. Is this a restricted subforum? When I created my account, I don't think there was any restrictions. If that's the case, I'm happy as long as I can see confirmation he sent the coins.

I don't understand how the bid could even be accepted... Why would he be able to PM but not post in the forum. I really only see two plausible reasons.

#1. The bidder knows/isn't sure he'll be able to fulfill the bid so this way, it will be much harder for anyone to discredit him if he doesn't pay.
#2. Inside bid (no disrespect OP, it just doesn't make sense to me).

Updating my price : 17 @ 1.92

Also, for the record but, I'd like to see proof that this shady pm bidder makes his payment. If I don't see this proof, I expect I (and the other bidders) to pay according to a sheet drawn up without his bids forcing us to bid higher that he would have had he never bid at all.

Re: ASICMINER: Entering the Future of ASIC Mining by Inventing It

A simpler calculation: there are approximately 9 million coins remaining to be mined. 10% of that, divided by 400,000 shares gives you 2.25 BTC per share. So things like hardware sales, transaction fees, and optimism that we'll have more than 10% share of the network had darn well better make up for the long wait to earn those 2.25 BTC. That might be reasonable. Any thoughts? (sure beats estimates based on infinity)

Interesting way to calculate it, but there are a few flaws. That estimate is based off of the total mined income over the course of then next ~130 years, assuming AM maintains 10% of the network for that entire time frame. However, they only expect to maintain 10% of the network for the next year or so, and at most until the next halving. Bear in mind, this only pertains to mining income. I'm having trouble trying to value based on sales of hardware.
