Do we only get reward once we reach 20 suggestions in total? Can we sell PAQs directly to you instead of going on an exchange?

Definitely losing my wallet identifier with 0.5 BTC contained in it  Angry

I hate when you think that you've backed up something sufficiently, only to realise after you try to login that something extremely tragic has happened. I've got my password ready but I haven't got my wallet identifier on blockchain.info! Always back it up with your email...

Re: Will you bet on "Sports" games that you don't know?
by
Invulner
on 16/12/2016, 05:11:07 UTC
I bet for a try or just to try my luck but I do not focus with it because my main intention in gambling is to have fun and possible to be profitable at the same time, that does not fall under my criteria so if ever I bet it is just something to break the boredom in life or just to be unique. lol

What sports betting I focus now is NBA, I like basketball because it's my passion but despite of that I still do not figure out how to win in the long run and I am still searching method though.

Yeah, me too. Personally sports betting is the probably most fun gambling method for me because you can engage with the event real time, and there are humans actually controlling the outcome. Although it is hard to predict you can find patterns in human behaviour, something you cannot do with chance only games.

I would not bet on any games that I don't follow, because I would be bored AF and likely to get terrible odds out of the bets.

Re: Is their any safe methods to gamble?
by
Invulner
on 16/12/2016, 05:09:41 UTC
Yes, there is. It's called arbitrage betting.

Essentially you are simply taking advantage of different competitive prices that different bookies may offer at the same time. You bet x% of your balance on one outcome and x% of your balance on another - if you win either of these outcomes then you are guaranteed to win a fixed percentage of profit. It's basically +EV gambling. But right now these odds are quite hard to find.

Re: How to win gambling with no lose?
by
Invulner
on 16/12/2016, 05:06:00 UTC
The only way to gamble without losing (ever) is to not gamble. Any other answer is wrong. If you want a 99.99% chance of making a profit you need to make a really really safe bet and once you one ONCE, walk away.

Even you are going to bet once and after winning walk away, you need to have control to yourself. Because that will give you excitement that you wanted to gamble again. And there is no other way to gamble without losing, unless you are not engaged with gambling then you are safe in losing. Just gamble small amounts to prevent big lose.

Yeah right, we won every once surely we will want to gamble again to hope to win again. And we must have a good self-control. You really are very impossible to gamble without lose, since gambling is fair game so if we lose or win. Unless we could hacking gambling system so that we can always win in a row, but I think it might not happen.

The point is that there will never be a system with a finite amount of bankroll that would work. Practically, martingale works with big bankrolls and small base bets, but really there is no point of wasting more time and electricity on autobetting with martingale when you can earn more just working at McDonalds or something like that.

Also, there is always a risk that you'll still lose on martingale, even with a tiny ass base bet. I've seen 200 satoshi base bets grow to 1 BTC before.

Re: How did you first hear about bitcoin?
by

This is my fifth year using bitcoin now. I heard about it at around 2011 however didn't act on it at all, lots of tutorials at that time about how you can mine coins on your laptop and potentially get a reward for a block. I thought that it was just another scam.

Only got into it at around 2013 when it actually took off to the moon. Some things you just have to regret forever.

Re: Can gambling be considered a "high risk investment"?
by

on 16/12/2016, 05:01:22 UTC
I don't think that it is a good idea to call it even a "high risk investment" because really gambling is an investment with -EV, guaranteed. If you consider that even an investment then I really don't think that you are sane Smiley

However gambling is high risk. Extremely high risk.

Re: Does any bank accept Bitcoin?
by
Invulner
on 16/12/2016, 04:59:47 UTC
There are not that many banks out there that accepts bitcoin, when bitcoin is their direct competitor especially on international transfers. However, a lot of banks are actually looking into using blockchain technology to create an immutable database of transactions.

In my country if they find out you are buying bitcoin via bank transfer they might actually freeze the seller's account.

Re: Is this true? beginners in gambling are the luckiest?
by
Invulner
on 16/12/2016, 04:57:46 UTC
Well, there is no statistical difference in beginner gambling versus an experienced person gambling, a beginner's emotions might actually be more stimulated as he hasn't got the gambling experience before in his life.

If you are not playing at a provably fair casino it is entirely possible that they "bait" the beginners into playing more.

Re: Just-Dice.com : now with added CLAMs : Play or Invest

on 16/12/2016, 04:54:02 UTC
I've suspended betting and am modifying the database to remove the limitation.

I'll post again once it is done. I've no idea how long it will take, sorry.

It turned out it was going to take about 8 days to fix the database table that contains the old bet archive. So rather than waiting for that to happen I made a new empty bet archive table. Betting is active again now, but you won't be able to look up details of old bets until I migrate them into the new table.

That will happen gradually over the coming weeks (and hopefully not months, but we'll see...).

None of the data is lost, it just needs a little massaging.

Nice, good to see that the betting is back up again.

Will enjoy another degenerate session hopefully soon, haha. Always enjoyed gambling my funds away on JD Cheesy

Re: Will the Bitcoin price ever drop back down to $500?
by
Invulner
on 15/12/2016, 08:01:57 UTC
Do any of you that follow the price of Bitcoin closely think that the price will ever drop back down to $500 or something close to it? And why or why not?

I think that in the long run, everything will go to zero. But then, in the long run, we are all dead Wink

I think that a lot of bitcoin price rises are definitely just overhyped prediction and speculation. So once people realise there is no basis behind the rise of the price they may start to dump, leading the price dropping to potentially under $500.

Re: how strong is bitcoin really?
by
Invulner
on 15/12/2016, 07:58:22 UTC
We know that bitcoin is strong and all the wallets have milletry grade security but one of my stupid friend today said that maybe someone can hack it with just a calculater because with math and correct formulas we can even predict gambling bets if that is possible then maybe there is any chance of this

Well, bitcoin is definitely vulnerable to quantum computing.

However, quantum computing will probably not come out as a technology in the short run, leaving the bitcoin community plenty of time deciding which algorithm they would like to switch to, to counter quantum computing.

Re: Bitcoin traders, why don't you just trade forex?
by
Invulner
on 15/12/2016, 07:55:12 UTC
I am not so familiar in forex but i just always seen it in advertisement that asking for a large amount to deposit so i can not afford it that is why did not choose it to trade instead i just stay in poloniex and yobit and other well known trading site it is more good because we have already knows about crypto.. i want to try forex before because there is some seminar here for free that you can learn basic in forex how to trade. and they are giving contest and receive the amount they are give for those who win.. but the concept for me is the same as other trading site so i just stay in crypto currency than forex.
Besides trading on cryptocurrency is available for you 24/7 while forex not available in the weekend.
Cryptocurrency trading much more newbie friendly rather than forex , this is based on my personal experience.
The deposit amount doesn't really matter for me as mostly have $5 forex minimum deposit and it is still affordable i guess.

Yep, there are a lot of advantages in trading bitcoin instead of forex, including the reason that he stated above. The 24/7 trading is definitely an attraction, and there are more swings in the market price so there are more opportunities i guess.

Fiat currency market cap is too big, meaning that even a small fish in the fiat market can be a whale moving bitcoin 10-15% in a day in bitcoin.
