[ANN][IMPORTANT] WeMineLTC pool exploit patched & explained w/litecoin devs

Secondly, some food for thought for those of you who've spent the past few days taking to these forums, Reddit and other online outlets bashing the WeMineLTC. You've accused the pool of scamming you, you've accused the owners of scamming you, you've accused members of the pool (I've seen some posts referring directly to me) of being useless, unhelpful, and at worst accused someone of purposely telling people to setup their miners wrong in order to steal coin.
All of this mindless conjecture is based on speculation and naive panic, absolutely none of it has been backed up with any kind of proof - I have taken to these outlets and furiously defended WeMineLTC only to be bashed some more - the common thread to all of this? Read on.
You expect to be "told" what the exact problem is. You, for some reason feel you're somehow entitled to detailed information of what was clearly an attack on not just WeMineLTC but on other, genuine & honest stratum pools. As if it somehow doesn't matter that the admins releasing the details of an attack before they've even figured out how or what is happening won't do anything but encourage more rogue miners to exploit and steal your coin. You all know who you are, and you've all tarnished the integrity and the namesake of WeMineLTC by starting a witch hunt based on wild speculation and lack of knowledge.
I apologise if this has already been posted, and I thank those of who who haven't lowered yourself to the standards raised above - but I am an avid and passionate member of the WeMineLTC community - a pool I believe is one of, if not the best pool going.

So I've done almost nothing else today apart from slog my guts out convincing people to move over to the so called "dying crypto", FTC, which I've been furiously supporting since the start. Never found a block, personally low hashrate, managed to get around 25/30 people moved over, I even think some of them will stay for good.

Went to sleep about a half hour/hour after the launch time, wake up and there are new pools and on block 11k already...pretty irritated, I was hoping he would push launch back until same time today. Better late than never, pointed over to vern's pool, coins coming in, going to be a good day at work.

Stratum is stuffed on this pool, and if you've got anything under 1MH/s don't even bother, diff is 15 on GetWork but still more rejects and stales than Accepts by a large margin.

I've resorted to GetWork with --no-submit-stale, lots of rejects, but better than not being able to connect.

Starting to see lots of accepted confirmed blocks on the pool http://www.elacoinpool.com/ so if your having issues jump in so we can get this coin rolling.
This pool keeps disconnecting my highest hashing worker. Not happy.

This isn't a great start OP, had this coin have launched bang on time, with a Windows qt and genesis block already sorted, you'd have a lot of hashpower on your coin right now.

Can the pool operator please confirm that at launch we can mine straight away and start stashing our coins with the pool until an EXE is released?
