I don't see a problem with risking part of the portfolio on an insured PPT. Especially if you are the one running the PPT. At least we know GBF will be paid that way. Other insured PPTs may end up defaulting along with Pirate, or defaulting even if Pirate does not. Personally I consider GIPPT to be a low risk investment. A lot lower risk than many of the securities currently available on GLBSE.

Unfortunately I am one of those people that stick to a deal once it has been made. I appreciate your interest though and still have other hardware for sale. Smiley

Florida. Shipping will probably be via UPS Ground. If I ship tomorrow it will be there next Friday. Make me a reasonable offer on that 5850 and its yours as well.

USPS is faster and cheaper Smiley  I could have it by Wednesday if you shipped Priority large flat rate box.

In any event, I would like to purchase the mobos today if I could for 37 BTC?

Certainly. PM sent with address, and I was thinking the PSUs as well when I wrote that which won't fit in a flat rate box.

1        MSI 890FXA-GD70       25 btc
1        Gigabyte GA-970-UD3   15 btc

I offer 37 BTC shipped for both.

I am probably going to need the PC Power and Cooling PSUs also.

How much to bundle all that together?

Thanks.

75 btc. I haven't listed it yet, but I just got a Gigabyte 5850 back from rma if you are interested.

[Sold] Twenty 5850s for sale. 7 GHash of yummy goodness
by
Isepick
on 25/04/2012, 00:16:00 UTC

Summer is nearly upon us, and due to significant cooling costs and my local utility increasing their rates I must sell off a considerable portion of my gpus. What I have for sale is a total of twenty 5850s of various makes. What I am asking is 32 btc each, and that price includes shipping (USPS priority flat rate from Florida). The only exception is one of the Sapphires which has an Arctic Cooling Accelero Twin Turbo on it, and for that I want 36 btc.

All cards can easily run at 850/300, and they all hit at least 350 MHash/s. I have never overvolted them. I have original boxes for the cards I bought new, and most of the accessories as well. I will include the accessories on a first come first served basis until I run out, unless you feel you don’t need yet another CF bridge or antiquated driver cd Wink

I have no problems with escrow with trusted members/services, buyer picks up any applicable fees. I would prefer someone wanting most or all of them, but if not then it is 1st come 1st served.
Here is the list of cards I have available:

6 – Gigabyte GV-R5850OC-1GD
5 – Sapphire 5850 Xtreme
4 – Asus EAH 5850 Direct CU
2 – MSI R5850 Twin Frozr II
2 – ATI Reference 5850
1 – XFX  HD-585X-ZNFV

Note: 1 of the Gigabyte cards is out on RMA (dead fan), I included it in this listing for completeness. I also have three 6950s I will probably be getting rid of soon as well.

All cards sold to a single buyer. Thank you for your interest

Re: 5 pci-e mobo rig / 5870 mining
by

on 18/04/2012, 00:35:57 UTC
That ASRock is an awesome mobo. Use this psu. You can easily get 4 of those 5870s on there, if you undervolt you can prolly get all 5. Or get 2 of them for the cost of that Rosewill and have a buttload more power. All 6 of the pcie connectors are 6+2 pin (with 5 5870s you'll need 5 of the 8 pin connectors), and the power rating on there is actually the continuous power, not the peak power like most advertise. It also has a 7 year warranty. I don't have 5 5870s, but I am running 2 5970s and a 5870 off the same board with this power supply, a 5970 with 3 5850s on another similar rig, and a 5970 with a 5870 and 2 5850s in a 3rd rig, all of which are that ASRock mobo and that psu.

Awesome. I have 33 gpus across 12 rigs all running cgminer. Anubis makes keeping an eye on them much easier, but this will minimize my downtime for when I am sleeping and working. I'll test this out this weekend.

Running Armory using the cold storage feature makes getting rootkitted a mere annoyance Wink (not that I think there is any maliciousness here)
