Re: The best way to earn money
by

bounty is by far the best way...especially now that Google, Facebook and probably Twitter too are blocking crypto ADs.
There will be more money going to bounty hunters and the like

Re: NEO Vs Ripple
by

A very strange comparison which of course is behind the NEO project, because NEO has a greater perspective than the Ripple project. After all, the NEO project is a whole platform, which in its structure is very similar to the ETH project. I think that many will choose NEO

I agree with this analysis because I think XRP is not even to be considered a real crypto on a real blockchain and it is completely
centralized (not decentralized)...so I would go with NEO on the medium/long term

Re: Google will ban all crypto and ICO ads in June and now?
by
ItBeginInAfrica
on 15/03/2018, 17:02:00 UTC
I don't think this is bad news for the crypto movement.
All ICOs will be in the same situation, all banned from ads on Facebook and Google.
This is valid until Google and Facebook will launch their own coins  Grin then it will be very interesting
to see how Google and Facebook will treat them

yes, it seems probable that around May 14th there could be a bull run...you don't need to
be a master or a magician to predict it. I would stay away from such expensive "services" and
would do a full immersion in "DYOR". At least, if some investments go wrong, you failed cause

Re: ANY NEW AIRDROPS OR BOUNTIES ?

I’m really getting tired of signing up for airdrops, they aren’t profitable as before have to look for another profitable hussle

yes, I agree with you. This is probably due to a rising number of bad/unfair projects and also to the downtrending phase
of the cryptomarket. Stay tuned cause this phase will not last forever

I humbly suggest DeepOnion (ONION) cause it is a very good privacy coin, with many good devs
and active community. Also it is on SALE price now (approx. 2.5$)...I think in April, after airdrops will end,
will be listed on some major exchanges. It is on Kucoin, Cryptopia and other exchanges at the moment

the only thing that a wise Italian government could do to cut an immense growing debt would be to start
buying and/or mining BTC and probably they are already doing it right now (at the same time while they
are projecting new taxes on crypto)

Re: Does investing on ICO now is a good time?
by
ItBeginInAfrica
on 08/03/2018, 10:07:40 UTC
it is always good times or bad times to investing in ICOs.
If you are looking for easy profits then it is always sure you can get it.
Try to research everything possible about the ICOs you like and I would suggest
to take a look at: https://crushcrypto.com/

They run a lot of analysis about new upcoming ICOs and seem pretty consistent in
spotting those that have chances to grow big and those that have less probabilities.

Of course, a bull cryptomarket would also help a lot!

Re: how many coins do you think will last
by
ItBeginInAfrica
on 01/03/2018, 11:39:16 UTC
I think we are in a bubble regarding the high number of existing coins (more than 1500 on coinmarketcap alone, then there are tons
of other coin NOT on coinmarketcap)...so I think this number will continue to grow during 2018 and then there will be a huge disappearing
of many many projects/coin. I don't think the total market cap will be lower, though...so BTC and other main coins (ETH, XMR) will see higher and higher
market caps at the expense of other minor coins

Re: Reading Whitepapers
by
ItBeginInAfrica
on 01/03/2018, 11:34:58 UTC
reading whitepapers is a great source of information for new people to the cryptospace, alot of these concepts seem very not needed sometimes I recommend you new folks to read Mybit whitepaper it will definetely open your eyes to a few pockets of the blockchains usage with certain sectors of the cryptosphere.

Anybody else has a couple of informative whitepapers, that opened your eyes to a certain technology or undervalued market or just good information?
Im about to read deeponion's!

I think DeepOnion's whitepaper is well worth a read cause there are elements that are not easy to find, all together, in other whitepapers.
At least this is my experience.
After all, it is a good read and if you want to jump aboard, DeepOnion is still under 4$ at the moment, so I think it is undervalued
and a good buy right now

Re: Japanese E-Commerce Giant "Rakuten" is going to launch its own cryptocurrency
by
ItBeginInAfrica
on 01/03/2018, 11:30:47 UTC
I made a summary from various articles i've read and what i can tell you i that there is still no release date for the project, but here is what we know so far:

Japan’s largest e-commerce company Rakuten, with a market capitalization of over $12.5 bln (last year revenue was $8.8 billion), is planning to launch its own cryptocurrency called Rakuten Coin based on Blockchain technology, implementing the "actual rakuten super points loyalty program". What does this mean? There have been over 1 trillion Super Points awarded to users since the program was launched 15 years ago, equivalent to $9.1 billion, and the idea will be to now give users more ways of applying those loyalty points to more purchases, as a way of driving more purchasing to collect them in the first place.
Points currently are collected each time you buy — or, in certain markets where Rakuten runs marketplaces, sell — items or services on the site. As with its rival Amazon, Rakuten has a payment also has an MVNO mobile service with plans to launch its own full-blown mobile carrier — all of which become ways of spending more money as part of the loyalty program.

The announcement was made by Rakuten CEO and founder Hiroshi Mikitani during his speech at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona on Feb. 27.
Mikitani referred to his newly announced asset as ‎a “borderless currency,” underlining Rakuten’s vision of differentiating itself from its online retail rivals, like Amazon, Alibaba or eBay and "recreating" the relationship between retailers and merchants.

There are two main points that Mikitani wants to reach:

1) the company wants to see if it can drive more transactions from people internationally by cutting out some of the exchange rate fees and other issues if they buy in fiat currencies.
2) there is simply the buzz of crypto today: people who might not have been all that interested in loyalty programs before might turn on to them if they see their reward as blockchain buy-in.

There are some 44,000 merchants selling goods on Rakuten in Japan, its biggest market. Other holdings include PriceMinister in France (which is now rebranding to Rakuten) and Ebates, the rebates website operator in the US that Rakuten acquired for $1 billion in 2014. The logic will be to add Rakuten Coin to all of Rakuten’s businesses — some of which today have loyalty programs, and some of which do not.

The quote that i can report as read in various articles is the following:
“Basically, our concept is to recreate the network of retailers and merchants,” he said. “We do not want to disconnect [them from their customers] but function as a catalyst. That is our philosophy, how to empower society not just provide more convenience.”

BULLISH NEWS in my opinion, the more people get to know the cryptocurrencies, the better. Curious on what we will see in the next months in this market.

thanks for the great info and news!
I think it is good news for the entire crypto movement.
Not sure how much or fast will adoption be, nevertheless I would like to own some units of this new crypto from Rakuten cause it has huge chances to be very successful

Re: 90% of Masternode coins are similar/ponzi's
by

not all masternode coins are going to disappear or crash overnight...just try to avoid what is clearly unsustainable
as 5000% rewards or similar. Also try not to fall in love too much with the coins cause sooner or later it is
advisable to sell a masternode and begin again with another masternode coin

Re: Coins under $0.10?
by

Guys, can you tell me some coins that are under $0.10 right now and that maybe you are holding? Or even if you're not. I'm trying to put a little in few of them. First I'll do the research of course but if you have any suggestion in which such coin to look at I'd appreciate it. Smiley

I would take a look at BitDegree (https://www.bitdegree.org),
I think it has a useful concept and can be delivered with not too big effort (and has a great price right now)

Re: The END is NEAR!
by
ItBeginInAfrica
on 15/02/2018, 18:46:58 UTC
Yes, the END of cheap, great quality crypto is NEAR.

Once Amazon.com adopts crypto, the masses will fully awaken, and will come pouring in. Get your crypto now, my timeline says in February Amazon will launch something MAJOR, and this article supports my conclusion:

https://www.zerohedge.com/news/2018-01-22/could-amazon-be-gearing-cryptocurrency-exchanges

Once the largest American online retailer fully supports crypto, the FUD will no longer be as effective in tanking the markets.... you will never again see a time to buy such great quality crypto.

this is a good advice in my opinion cause Amazon and Facebook are able to deactivate part of the FUD power, in case they would launch
their own coins or adopt some existing one

yes, almost been scammed when I was a complete newbie...after sending much money to a "mining service" I realized
that probably it was a scam but decided to leave the money there and take the risk. Luckily enough I exited with a big
gain from that experience but it only was a matter of being very lucky (cause btc went on bull run during those months)

I would not say ALTs are getting useless by the end of the year, that sounds too much to me.
But Bitcoin dev team is huge and an all star team for sure, so I would expect not many ALTs will
have an important role in 5 years from now (probably not more than 10-15)...and of course, BTC will
be in a pretty dominant position by then

my first and best experience is with DeepOnion (ONION).
40 weekly airdrops, next Friday it will be n.31.
Also quality of the project is very high with a skilled dev team too.

That's why I've never sold anything and keep hodling

Re: Best / safest wallet for storing ETH
by
ItBeginInAfrica
on 08/02/2018, 15:53:21 UTC
Hello all,

I am looking to store ETH in a wallet, what would you suggest is the best and safest way to do this? I am considering buying a trezor as well for extra protection. I am simply looking to hodl ETH.

Any suggestions? Thank you in advance.
I usually use Myetherwallet + Metamask. Also plan to buy Ledger Nano and use it as cold storage for ETH and ERC 20 tokens.

the perfect solution for me...I used MEW (myetherwallet) for a long time but then I realized the potential problems
in sending my private keys through MEW. MEW + Metamask is the way to go
