I've pointed a small amount of my hashing power to ckpool. Looks good on the miner end and is accepting shares but the users page says not found.

I agree. I was thinking.... there are mining startups and established operations that raise capital from investors and project future revenue to current investors.
But hey... "F#*k it, let's try it... is a surprisingly effective business strategy".
