During the latter part of 2017,I advised a friend to invest inBTC.He adhered to it and bought some good amount..He then proceeded to buy more when it hit the range 18k-20k..He is now upset due to how market is reacting...Anybody here to give an expect advice?
It can if the market endures this clamping and FUD that has been holding the market within the $10k mark since January. I do believe the pricing will significantly increase within the Q3 and Q4. This dips can be considered a great to buy and you'll reap and easy profit ng 2-3 weeks time.
Are there any optimists left? Is $100K still possible even by 2020 or 2021?
Of course! There are no hindrances when it comes to pricing the only question left is when. As of today the price of bitcoin is slowly picking up pace and it is now at the 11k usd mark. I'm optimistic it will reach 15-18k by end of the Month.
It's all a part of the price discovery cycle, as the price still seems to be pretty much based off news/speculation still. We're still ending way higher then where we started every time we crashed.I also notice this trend. In every Q1 of the year there will be certain points where pricing will plummets real hard and then slightly comeback stronger in Q3 to Q4. There are a lot of FUD and clamping of trading all overall the world since most of the government wants a piece of it. I believe we will recover and we always will.
I notice quite a big drop in the last few hours. Is this just a short term thing for a few hours and it will pick up again back to normal. Or will it go much further down into a big crash.
Think of it as an opportunity to buy more rather than just a "crash". The price will pickup soon. Crypto has always been on dips and reds when the month of February comes.
I think not because if they hodling you won't see this correction/dip/crash(whatever you want to call it) many people are getting out of the boat because if not overall marketcap will stay the same even if they move from coin to coin to profit but instead marketcap is decreasing which tells me that people are actually cashing out.
Some are holding but most the weak hands are still selling out meaning there are greater amount of weak hands compared to those are hodling. Take note also that most are just saying hodl to counteract some FUD that is spreading too much around the cryptoworld.
Re: Is it easy to predict the price of Bitcoin in a near future?
The price prediction of bitcoin in the near future quite possible be easier. Since if the market truly embrace and adopt blockchain technology to its payment system then the trend will always be upward not only increase but also dips when major update or revamp is on its way. This way it is much more given focus by more people thus generating a consensus of a general hunch on pricing by day to day basis.
The market so far has been down for the year. When do you feel the market will recover? Too much FUD going around with negative news floating around. Will Bitcoin go down further to USD 8-9k??
It will recover and it will always be back up again. Q1 has been the most quartet where bleeding is rampant. The market is still adjust to the new demands it has since it is a year. I still believe bitcoin can go dowb to 9k usd but it will bounce back in a matter of days, weeks or months.
No one can stop bitcoin only its increasing transcation fee. If they can somehow fix or update it with even faster block then block height and faster transaction will assure its dominance forever.
Bitcoin will rise during the Christmas holidays, just like it did during Black Friday/ thanksgiving holiday. So hold your positions.
Bitcoin dips this Christmas season and it might recover within the Q1 of 2018. It does give us some sale season before the year ends.

Hopefully the project still continue to launch in Mexico and Philippines, its understandable to change focus on big industrial countries. You might change your road map but I hope you can still continue to what you have started. Will still support and keep on track with this project.
It will definitely happen soon. Let's just hope and support for the success of Hearthy.
We can expect them to pursue both Mexico and Philippines after they've been successful in Europe. Only time will tell when will it happen.

The project seems to be moving forward though it encountered some issues along the way. It took them a while to be back on track and it is fascinating to see an ico pushing no matter what. Hearthy all the way.
no one can stop hearty to be a sustainable application in this near future, we just need to be positive and support hearty at all cost. this is not just for them, this is also for us people,. we are the one who will benefit from this application.Totally agree with you. They are working hard to deliver Hearthy to the masses. I'm quite astounded that they are attending seminars and reaching out hospital to promote the advantages of Digital Records and Hearthy.
At first they targeted both Philippines and Mexico as their primaru market but they've encountered some setbacks that is why they choose Europe as their new primary market to provide a better service. Maybe soon after their implementation of Hearthy
in Europe they will introduce it to other countries as well.

Does anyone of you still want to invest in HearthyCo even though the country you are living in are not part of their current target and roadmap?
Yes, of course!If this is really a benefit to a lot of people and I see that someday it will reach my country why I can not support it now? On the other hand we have seen so many things that Hearthy Co can share with the people so I don't have great reason to change my heart for supporting Hearthy Co.It's good to see people still invests in ico that matters not just for the money and profit it offers.
I am glad because many would like to invest in ico even if the target area of the project is not in their country. it is only a sign that the hearthy project is really useful and can be of great help to society. good job hearthy. keep it out the good work.

Are the timeline on roadmaps also moved? The pre-sale reopens and it takes much longer time. Is the ico date still the same or is it moved to maximize the reopening of the pre-sale?

Seems that the project have lesser updates for this week, maybe the inquiry for re opening of whitelist makes the team so busy this days... 
It does makes team busier than the pre-sale itself for they will need to re-open the contracts and start new computations for bonuses.

Even if Bitcoin reach x amount it will never replace fiat currency usage. Though in a few years time the rise of cryptocurrency will bring about new are in transcation and market.
