I think a realistic price right now would be $6, which then it'd get dumped back down too $3.5 and repeat itself for months till we hit that $10 stage.
Patience is the key here, it really doesn't matter at all in the long run what the price is right now. The potential is there and if the team keeps making right decisions and profit, then ICN will eventually appreciate in value. It has to, as it's value will be tied with the revenue from several different streams. That's the key factor here, with correct decisions ICN's value will not be tied to mere speculation any more, the profits from the platform will do it.

Wow, ICN is getting butchered while the rest of the market is on a huge bull rush. I guess whoever is playing with the price has not got enough yet, next target at 50k satoshi?
Watching the price action while almost everything is green on CMC, I can only think of one thing. The team needs to figure out a real and valuable use case for ICN token. Right now it's just a bit too risky investment to attract wide interest, especially after the recent SEC ruling considering tokens and securities. If the team can achieve that and start aggressively marketing ICN and the platform, I can see that ICN can go very far in the future.
I've been riding this downward ICN price wave for a the last day and a bit accumulating more ICN. Today I decided to transfer some more ICN from cold storage to increase buy and sell amounts.
I transferred over a chunk of ICN this morning, but it's not popping up on Kraken.com at all. The addresses are correct as i double checked on the blockchain explorer website.
Anyone else experience the same problem today or maybe yesterday with Kraken and ICN deposits?

Yep, same problem here. I contacted the support, it should be all right though. Some times these exchanges experience some hick ups when there is high volume of trading.
If nothing happens tomorrow I guess the rest of us will dump ICN and prices may just dip back to $0.50. The release of the platform is what we are waiting since the day of ICO. I'm currently sending my ICNs to kraken and ready to dump again. I expect to see a platform but if not, we'll be seeing loss if those big whales dump before us.
Well, we all know ICN is pretty much manipulated by whales right now. So either we get some good news and see a rise in demand for ICN or then the whales do what ever they want to do with ICN.

What kind of answer is this? Nobody knows, as of yet. I hope the team clarifies this issue tomorrow when the platform goes public. My guess is that, if nothing else, they are trying to make ICN into a token which only serves utility on the platform. Maybe the buyback function is possible to integrate into ICN via automated smart contract as well, I don't know if that makes it a security though...

Yep, and that's only ICNP value. Now do the math, how much is 20% profit from $35,267,271.74 for the next buyback & burn rounds in the future...

Yep, same here. Factom is so ridiculously undervalued right now. Imo it belongs right there with bitcoin, ethereum and ripple. No way I'm selling yet.

even though I don't mind, ICN to the moon!As long term holder, the short term price of FCT really means nothing in the long run. For me, this project is only one of few in the crypto space which actually have significant potential, not only for a store of value but to change the world into a better place which more honest, safe and transparent record keeping. Actually I don't see any other project in crypto which would have such a wide usage base to solve real world problems in the future. And the way FCT value is going to be calculated when the final product is up and running makes me want to hold on to it with even more confidence.
Guys calm down, the recent dip in ICN token price means nothing really in the long term. What is relevant is that the team is doing constant development and progress in terms of the actual product, which is the platform and forming partnerships with funding companies. This is where the immense potential of this project lies for the long term, but it takes patience.
For the guys who are still wondering, now it's a very good opportunity to accumulate, even if the price dips lower. Once the platform release gets closer and when ICN is added to more exchanges, we can kiss these prices goodbye for good.
I can't believe FUD has so much effect. 10% down in 24hrs just from fudding! Are people so easily affected? This is crypto, you should have been prepared for that.
Take heed of the timing of those attacks --- the FUD/Dump combo attacks are usually done in the wee hours (late night - early morning in North America or working hours in Europe), when buy support is at its weakest and people are not ready with BTC to catch the sudden dip (because people are either sleeping or working).. So it's very easy for any attacker to penetrate the buy walls and dupe newbies into selling lower..
It's been like this since the first day of FUD war... I am definitely seeing a pattern...
Good observation, clearly this type of tactic is used to maximize the effect for the attackers to drive the price as low as possible, in order to buy back at the low end of the price fluctuations. Some group really wants their hands on ICN, and loads of it.

It's Kraken's wallet, they hold 60% of ICN. If you deposit some ICN on Kraken you would see that amount added to that address.
No it's not, the wallet holding 60% of ICN is the ICO account.

We have to be patient now, the FUDsters might have damaged Iconomi's image for a short term but once the platform is ready and working, Iconomi team should start to focus on marketing as well to set ICN to a value it deserves. Imo, this project has so much potential in the future, now we have to just wait and see.
