Re: BTC and the hopes of a price surge
by
JCO05
on 17/11/2018, 22:58:13 UTC
The market seems to be in state of limbo right now, with a plunge in the stocks market, the crypto market isn't spared either. All hopes of a bull run in 2018 seem to be fading away and if there'll be a surge ever this year, it may just not surpass $8k and that being the highest till year end. What's your take?
The hopes are indeed fading. Last year where bullrun occured, people have expected this year to be a bigger one but early this year, continuous market downtrend occured which made the market prices at their deepest  at this moment. We are already on the last quarter but situation is getting more worse. So maybe, hopr will be moved next year so for now waiting is all we can do.

Re: I'm afraid of losing money
by

Hey, guys!

I become more and more nervous about my crypto safety.
I used different wallets for different coins before and now I want to choose one wallet for everything.
I have Bitcoin, Ethereum and Ripple.

The point is that even the biggest and as I thought the most reliable wallets have problems these days.
Money disappear somewhere, there's problems with access and withdrawals.

Can you recommend me a good, safe and reliable wallet, please?
I'm sure you have more experience in it.
l
In the first place an investor should expect risks with regards to profit loss upon engaging into any investment. Cryptoinvestment is known to be risky because the market value of cryptos are lacking consistency and is naturally volatile. Therefore, investor should not be weak on times of market downfall.

Re: Bull run can be surprising?
by
JCO05
on 12/11/2018, 23:38:33 UTC
The scenario that we've been experiencing lately, made me learn a lot of angles which every traders or investors did speculate after certain dips happened in the market of bitcoin. Relentlessly I've been feeling so low after all upon seeing the price dropped 10% and continually it goes down at the dipped value now.
I tried myself not to be stressed with the current downfall happening, and just think of a positive drive that could give me enough strength to handle situations like this that bull run can be surprising.

As many experts and no experts predicted bull run to happen this last months of the year, bearish market increased but it doesn't stop their because people now were more mature as they more particular on listening thus predictions at very last tolerance to possibly happen that bull run could initiate and will surprise everyone at a random date this year.
Bullruns are meant to be surprising. It can only be expected but determining when will it exactly happen is way impossible due to the lack of contistency of the market itself. This year, no recovery happen so people are looking forward next year but the problem is that we are lacking assurance that such thing will really happen. The best thing to do now is to be patient.

Re: 3 ETH where to invest
by
JCO05
on 12/11/2018, 23:20:10 UTC
i have 3 eth is there are any ico which will give me even 3X return on my investment. or is there are any hyped ico i should go for or any undervalued altcoin
I suggest holding it until recovery happen in the market. Investing it to projects would be more risky knowing that majority of the projects nowadays are failing or resulting to profit loss due to the influence of the market downtrend. Some investors even have stopped investing right now due to the huge profit loss which is reasonable at thid moment.

Re: Do you think the market will GREEN soon?
by
JCO05
on 12/11/2018, 22:57:16 UTC
We do all hope that it would be on green marks soon because many of us are tired of seeing how bad the market became which is mostly filled with red marks this year. If there will be no changes eventually, surely, it would be a problem for the projects because many investors would completely lose interest to cryptos.

Re: Will altcoins ever recover their value?
by
JCO05
on 12/11/2018, 22:44:19 UTC
Not all and surely there will only few number of altcoins which would be able to recover and withstand the continuous downfall this year. Some coins are even considered as dead at this moment due to long term dumps. Only those which are well established in the market are more likely to recover once bull run takes over the market.

Re: Token price dropping after ICO, why so?
by
JCO05
on 12/11/2018, 22:26:22 UTC
This happens a lot even before due to the demand on the particular crypto. But since there is a negative market behavior this year, it is becoming an additonal factor why the market prices of the tokens are falling below ICO price since the value is being negatively influenced by the situation. This is what giving doubts to the investors to invest at this point.

Re: So, Crypto Market ALL RED Again!!
by
JCO05
on 12/11/2018, 22:06:28 UTC
Today All Crypto market get RED again!
I dont know why, may be nobody knows. What is going on people?!!

All top 10 coins decrease around 5%. ETH traded at $430, BTC at $7700.
I think ETH may continue dumping while BTC will stop dumping at $73xx then great again.
Indeed frustrating. The market behavior is at its worst unlike what happened last year. Due to the continuous market downtrend, many investors are losing huge amount of profit especially those who did panic selling. Many people are now lacking interest to cryptos which makes the situation even worse. Let's just hope that there will be a change in 2019.

Re: Are airdrops still worth getting into?
by
JCO05
on 11/11/2018, 23:42:34 UTC
I used to sign up for airdrops until I realised most of them are just scammy/ really not worth anything.

I want to know your thoughts about them. Are they still something interesting to get into? If so, what do you think is interesting?
I am not into airdrops due to the negative feedbacks such as being a waste of time. And since we are having a bad market behavior right now, it might make the situation for airdrops worse. Some airdrops are reported to be scam, and not paying. Positive reviews are only limited so it is for the participants to decide whether airdrops are really still worth getting into at times like this.

Re: Best Altcoin for year 2018
by
JCO05
on 11/11/2018, 22:25:04 UTC
It appears to be ripple which had a great year this year for surpassing ethereum as the 2nd topmost crypto. The majority of cryptos are struggling on the continuous market downfall this year giving no profit at all to the investors. Majority of projects are failing and it simply means that XRP is the only crypto which have experienced positivity for this year's market behavior.

Re: BTC bear market over?????
by
JCO05
on 10/11/2018, 23:08:15 UTC
It is not yet over for Bitcoin and also, to the market itself. The market value of cryptos are still on continuous downtrend and at this point there is a huge price cut since the market downtrend have started early this year. Bullrun is still not assured to happen this year unlike what happened on the previous year and therefore, patience should be prioritized.

Re: Scammers on Spreadsheets
by
JCO05
on 10/11/2018, 22:43:27 UTC
Regardless of the strict rule given on bounties, scammers are increasing the more. the one I discovered recently is that hunters who are not qualify for some good bounties now use other hunters details to submit their work. when I saw this on a spreadsheet yesterday I am so surprised to see my details submitted on the same spreadsheet twice. What is really happening? Is there a way to block these scammers out?
That is indeed true and I Was once a victim recently. There are qualifications and since some participants are not following simple rules, the tendency of being disqualified is high. And due to their desperateness, they are using other participant's name in order to confuse the managers and for them to have profit still.

Re: seling or holding your altcoin ?
by
JCO05
on 05/11/2018, 23:58:32 UTC
as price is going down what is the best stredigy for for altcoin
Ofcourse that is to hold. It would be nonsense to sell cryptos which are having low market value since there are tendencies that fees on the exchanger would be bigger than the profit. As such, hplding and waiting until the market recover would be more likely resulting to huge profit once bull run occur.

Re: How to determine if projects/coins will survive the bear market?
by
JCO05
on 05/11/2018, 23:52:18 UTC
If it is a normal market situation, investors may base on factors such as the popularity when choosing a coin thayt will be surely increasing from dumps. But since abnormality on the downfall in the market is present, it is hard for the majority of cryptos to recover and have a price increase at times like this.

Re: for 3000$ whats your choice
by
JCO05
on 05/11/2018, 23:23:18 UTC
I'd be probably not making any action with regards on investing to any crypto no matter how popular that project is, how potent or how good its platform is, investing is very risky at this moment. Many people have regret on doing such thing since recovery is not happening yet to the market. Just be patient and wait for things to be filled with green marks.

Re: Do you trust ICO Rating sites?
by
JCO05
on 05/11/2018, 23:08:12 UTC
They seem biased to me. A friend of mine who's doing an ICO told me that they paid 10ETH for 5 quality ratings and that's that! I noticed that some ICOs with good project, team, and good social media presence are struggling with getting good reviews.

With all that said, should it still be a factor to look at when investing in ICO?
I do believe on ICO rating sites. Although it is just a rating site, it shows the idea of the majority and it simply means that coins at the top are the ones which are having high demand. Therefore, there is a huge chance for the coin that is having high rating, to be successful due to the demand that it is having from the majority.

Re: ETH is recovering?
by
JCO05
on 05/11/2018, 22:48:14 UTC
Yesterday I only saw ETH for $ 167. But ETH today increased 17% and increased to $ 203. What can this tell us about ETH?
I am very excited about the price increase of ETH
As what we can see, it is not. We should not fool ourselves that every small recovery should be already considered as the start of thr bullrun. Such thing is hard to determine and is way unpredictable. Its market value is under 200usd swhich shows how bad the market is at this moment. So the best thing to do is to just hold for now.

Re: How do determinate a ICO team is good?
by
JCO05
on 05/11/2018, 22:27:46 UTC
Smiley Smiley Nowadays, in ICOs world there are good projects who are pushing by people who  work in relationed projects about crypto y blockchain, but  we need to remember that you can find people who offer this services (developers, managgers, whitters, etc), its really easy!!, but how can i have certainty about the team who are pushing a project?? In mi case, i look all profiles, and pay atention in things like: companies or project they used to work, interest, which kind of people they follow or are related. I know you need time for that, I would like to know how do you have certainty about the team who are pushing any ICO project??  Cool Huh
That's simply, the team behind an ico should be considered as good if they are active with their project. If ever the updates are as fast as ligntnings, it would already be a good team but if it brings quality service , that is on another level which would positively affect the market outcome of the project as well as its long term progress.

Re: ICO prediction 2019
by
JCO05
on 05/11/2018, 22:08:53 UTC
I think that in 2019 ICO will be still alive, ICO investors will be smarter and only join good ICO. No more lands for bad and scam ICO. 2018 is not a good year for investors because most of token dumped below ICO price. Do you think 2019 is a good year for ICO and all tokens pump after ICO like it was in 2017?
Although it would be biased, I am also hoping that next year would be a good year for ICO investors and traders. It might just be because this year is the correction year on what happened last year where the market value of cryptos have gone hysterically increasing and the opposite thing happened for this year's market.
