Macrocoin

Macrocoin is a new next generation coin built from Litecoin. Macrocoin (meaning on a big-scale) uses scrypt algorithm for proof of work. Just like Litecoin it does not rely on any sort of central authority. It is open-source and uses peer-to-peer technology - maintained only by the the Macrocoin network. We want Macrocoin to be a genuinely valuable currency. With low block rewards and low overall supply we try to accomplish this. We believe in the simple supply and demand economic model. The frequent block halving will also help to make this a coin with increased scarcity and value.

We want to see this coin being used as an everyday method of payment. This is no pump and dump scheme - where billions of coins are created and after a couple of months the developers go quiet - and vanish. Here at Macrocoin we have a long-term vision. This is a coin that we feel has a bright and successful future - and we will stick with it throughout the whole journey so that we can deliver on this promise.
