Re: The Future of Cryptocurrency
by

In recent years, blockchain technologies have given rise to a new industry. Numerous fintech startups create innovative solutions to radically change the world which we live in today.

SWIFT 2.0 on Blockchain

If we are to forecast the possibilities, there are a lot of exciting things that might happen for the next 20 years or more. Possibly, when modern technology is to adapt to the way of living of individuals or consumers, cryptocurrency might be used for purchase of goods in malls, merchants and other establishments. It is really possible it will happen in the future, but it will take a lot of proceedings, talks, not only by one government but all to enable success in their actions.

Ripple Labs, Inc. – a company developing cryptocurrency of the same name (Ripple) – is a good example of how the blockchain can be used to transform the landscape of modern financial transactions. Ripple solves the existing problem in the world of finance.

Today, we can send letters instantly by using emails instead of traditional postal service. We can send any information to anywhere in the world in one click. But we can’t say the same about money. We can’t make a transfer of money from a sender to receiver as fast as a transfer of information. The existing solutions that the current world can offer are very slow and expensive.

If you want to send, say, $10,000 from New York to London, it will be faster to take cash, go to the JFK airport and fly through the Atlantic on the plane. Because traditional interbank transfer will take from 2 to 5 working days.

Ripple makes cross-border payments faster and cheaper. It takes only 4 seconds to make a transaction through Ripple blockchain network, and it costs at roughly $0.0004 even for the amount of hundreds million dollars.

Crypto Derivatives

Step by step, cryptocurrency is being recognized by the traditional financial world as a new kind of digital asset with many benefits. Wall Street approached crypto by establishing derivatives contracts. In December 2017, the two largest U.S. Futures Exchanges – Chicago Board Options Exchange (CBOE) and Chicago Mercantile Exchange (CME) – launched futures trading on Bitcoin. This opened up crypto-market for big money of institutional clients and hedge funds.

Since the launch of futures, there has been a heated debate about the expected Bitcoin ETFs on New York Stock Exchange (NYSE). If this is launched, you will be able to buy shares of such ETFs as stocks which price will be correlated with the price of Bitcoin.

Next level of crypto derivatives is option contracts, both options on Bitcoin futures and options on Bitcoin itself. Whilst CBOE and CME are still discussing the possible launch of options on Bitcoin futures, the Bitcoin options already being traded on several crypto-exchanges such as LedgerX and Deribit.

After the Bubble

The tech sector of U.S. stock market is determined by the NASDAQ indexes that include stocks of numerous tech companies, and many of them were born during the famous Dotcom bubble in 1995-2002.

At its climax in March 2000, NASDAQ Composite index peaked at a high of over 5,000 points and then lost about 80% of its value dropping to a low of around 1,000 points in October 2002.
A new all-time high has been reached only after 15 years in 2015, surpassing the level made during the Dotcom bubble.

The charts of NASDAQ index in 1999-2000 and Bitcoin price in 2017-2018 are incredibly similar, with the only difference that velocity of Bitcoin price increase is several times faster than the velocity of NASDAQ growth.

Many companies created during the Dotcom bubble were really ahead of their time. For example, Amazon, which was founded in 1997 as an online bookstore, is now among world’s top-5 tech companies. Amazon has finally become an integral part of lives of the most U.S. residents but this has happened only with the passage of time and the introduction of the Internet into everyday life.

The same happens with Crypto now. Today, the blockchain technology is really ahead of its time. It is possible that after several years many blockchain projects will be implemented in the real world, and Crypto will emerge from a new Renaissance. Until then, the Bitcoin price can possibly suffer decline and continuous depression, just as NASDAQ did.

The recent sharp drop in the crypto market caused the decrease in volatility and the decline in public interest. The initial excitement is gone now and the market has calmed down. This is a sign that the new market is moving into the maturity phase.

Big money like quiet markets. So, news has begun to come that hedge funds with the money of Soros, Rockefeller, and even Rothschilds family are moving into the world of crypto.

These financial sharks seem confident in the bright future of crypto-markets. And the most interesting time is yet to come.

How much money are in the world? And how much money can Bitcoin be worth? in comparation to that.

Money in this world are centralized. It means it is being controlled by the government, in very country we lived to. Even at some point, centralization is negative in some ways, with when we talked about circulating Fiat, it is controlled because of the possible inflation to be happened in the future if one country will continue to produce money without any further analysis that what might happen or result to the action taken.

Hello,

Most of you are confident with the long term for Bitcoin. Yet some altcoins has the same features so why are you so confident about bitcoin and not about litecoin instead?

I compared them and approximatevily the same assets!
The only difference is that bitcoin was the first, is it that important?

We have our own perspective of investment mindset. But what matters we are assure that a project or alternative coin has a good purpose or a solution to a problem in a conventional environment. Because if it will do like that, it could be a catalyst of change in the world especially for the modern day today especially for what bitcoin possess, the blockchain technology.

Governments of many countries are practically declaring war on cryptocurrencies.
Why is that?

Is there any war? Seriously? Because in our country, seems our Government has no sides yet whether to consider cryptocurrency yet as legal or illegal one, but One agency managing Banks, has given statement that investing in cryptocurrency is very risky, so when investing, one must study and learn before putting your money at risk. Because once you already know the technicalities in it, you can manage the risk properly.

Re: Is Bitcoin a Bubble?
by

on 29/06/2018, 18:24:12 UTC
Wall street grows ever more certain Bitcoin is a bubble. I can't even say they're wrong. Flirting with $6000 per coin and low economic utility? For as dumb as Jamie Dimon sounds every time he says anything about Bitcoin, the tulip bubble analogy looks less and less inappropriate all the time.

Quote
In a note to clients published on Thursday, analysts at UBS took a long look at Bitcoin, cryptocurrencies, and the blockchain technology that underwrites this whole enterprise.

Looking only at pricing, UBS said that, “a twenty-fold increase in bitcoin prices in just two years, and an absence of any fundamental economic backing, cryptocurrency prices are almost certainly a bubble.”

Blockchain utility doesn't make crypto not a bubble. That'll be important to remember for people buying now expecting to make big gains at this cost basis, and there's real risk there.

Bitcoin is considered bubble for those individuals who are scammed because scammers used bitcoin for as a medium. Normally way back then in 2017, a lot of High Yield Investment Platforms (HYIP) just came out and a lot of persons was deceived and lost their money. So today, they generalized and consider bitcoin as bubble or scam.

Hello, community. Political, economic and social news in the media significantly affect the life and behavior of the crowd. How can crypto news affect the movement of the market?

Some people especially the newbies are the one that could be affected to this kind of topic. We can call them weak hands, because when they heard FUD news or bad news about bitcoin, cryptocurrency as a whole that it is scam or whatever, they automatically, even they they incurred loss, sell their assets. And this is somehow the main problem about this industry.

I seen lots of people are panic and selling and spreading FUD . But based on my experience people who really dare to take risk only won here .
Wise and daring investors are still searching for good potential coins to invest while its really cheap were greedy people are panic and spreading FUD
Finally people who dare to invest bitcoin even when the price of 100$ they created fortune here . Its completely daring and vision not at aall luck . SO if you are having real vision and want to make milestone in life then be here in crypto and support other wise please quit .

Because of the fact that cryptocurrency industry is the most volatile investment industry which people around the world has invested, which includes ForEx, Gold and Silver, Real Estate, Exotic Cars and others, it is really risky to invest. Which is why some become millionaires not because they scammed people for money but they are risk takers, and they research and learn about cryptocurrency to minimize risk.

Re: How to withstand whales?
by
JPS2K5
on 29/06/2018, 15:08:06 UTC
Hey guys, just found a mind-blowing article about whales and "skype trading".

Quote
A small group of about twenty over-the-counter (OTC) traders and clients including big investors, miners, payment processors and hedge funds, has reached a monthly trading volume worth billions of dollars. Instead of using an online exchange like Coinbase or Kraken, the participants close major deals chatting on Skype and settle them by sending fiat via bank wires and cryptocurrency directly to each others’ wallets.......

So in December, when common people sold houses and cars or took loans in the bank and bought bitcoin during its unprecedented growth, bankers quietly sold all the bitcoins out of the exchange at high prices, and this did not affect the exchange rate, but when not over-the-counter areas were over, they came to the stock exchanges and the remains of bitcoin were already sold on open exchanges, causing a price collapse.
If a whale wants to buy bitcoin for $ 500 million and go with this amount to the one of top 5 exchanges, such as Poloniex or Binance, he can in one trading session, push the rate one or two thousand dollars up, and that's exactly what he does not need.

What are your suggestions??? I think the only way is just HODL despite the fact of price collapse.

We cannot withstand these whales in the amount of investments but we can defeat them by strategies and plan. These whales exposed the weakness of bitcoin and that is part of their strategy – to destroy the reputable name of the currency while benefiting large income over the years (when price goes mainstream) or their main objective to eliminate the value of the currency because of its potential risk on their mainline (businesses).

Re: How to cope up with the falling prices?
by

on 26/06/2018, 12:32:11 UTC
There are just couple of question I need some answering from people with enough experience in crypto.

Any particular tips on when to invest token when the prices are low?
And how can one manage to hold the tokens even the prices are bleeding?
Is there a specific time where one can pinpoint the best way to accumulate tokens?

Thanks for sharing your thoughts!

I only have one word for this scenario. This is diversification my friend, in this kind of industry especially to cryptocurrency where the market is so volatile, you need to be wise. You need to study hard and research the scope, and how does the market works for cryptocurrency. Thus after learning from it, you can completely go into it and take the risk, when taking this risk of investing in cryptocurrency, you also need diversify your investments, never put all your money on cryptocurrency solely, try to study and invest also liquid markets like foreign exchange and real estate.

Re: Reason of the price fall
by
JPS2K5
on 24/06/2018, 13:07:00 UTC
I know about the demand and supply and its the reason a marlet gets different price at different price but what make bitcoin users to lead to this pricefall..I mean once there was 1btc = 500$ and after that I herd some hackers have hacked some exchanges and many scammers also poped out during those days..and this all leads to currenct price of 230$ I hope some peoples will do something to avaood these problems as much as we can

The reason of this decrease in price in bitcoin is so easy to solve. It is the spreading off news of FUD to those individuals especially who have no confidence for bitcoin and the cryptocurrency. Maybe they just invested because there friends says so and they had gain income in it and when they heard such news of FUD, they immediately sell to stop their losses. This is only an example but the truth.

Re: Do you think the whales are manipulating the markets
by

Hi guys ,
Do you think the whales are manipulating the markets ?? Has any one noticed that the current bull run that has been on for the last few weeks comes to a halt every time it reaches the 10 k mark and slides down . My theory is that whales sell at 10k and then create fud so market slides down only to buy back and pump . What do you think ?

One of the factors of price volatility of cryptocurrency is the law of demand and supply. Alternative Coins price varies with these law, when the supply is low and demand is high, then technically, the price will go high. That in inverse in the different way either. So in connection with the whales, these persons have power through money which they can totally but a lot of altcoins when the market in on correction or dip. And with that action they have, market price and capitalization will totally go up because as what we know, they are whales. This could be the truth, but we do not know that yet.

Re: Diversify Investments

Usually they recommend you to diversify your investment, so you avoid losses.

But as a real approach, having $1.5k, would you invest in how many cryptocurrencies ?

What if I invest little by little, only in Bitcoin, would that work as well ?

If to talk about the choice of your investment friend, be mindful, be responsible about your money, be wise and be patient. Because you are to invest your money, let us be frank about that, you must be vigilant, a wise investor as what they say. You must research deeper the technicalities and factor of a coin, you can also have a checklist in order for you to help you with your decision. With that, diversify your investments. These will surely help that it will manage, minimize losses or even maximaxing profit. Because you are engaged in crypto, first thing in mind is that this market is very volatile.

on 15/06/2018, 19:28:40 UTC
Hi guys,

As my last post has generated quite some intrest concerning bounty earnings, I would love to share a hidden gem in the bounty world.

I guess lots of you are still hunting the classical way, with weekly reports and long spreadsheets. As you all know, this isn't an efficient way of working.

Last month, I came across the Bountyhive platform and I honestly think this will be a gamechanger. At the moment, a general Facebook campaign only has +- 2500 participants, and you do not have to post weekly reports. You just have to share 2 posts/week, and the Bountyhive employees will keep track of these shares.

But these social media campaigns probably won't get you rich. I'm focusing on the translation campaigns, as they're promising +- 3ETH/translation. Unfortunately, participation in these campaigns is quite a lottery for the popular languages.

Thank me later!
Jan

To be frank, its good before you do not have to report all along, what you are needed to do is just share, share, share and like. Also in twitter for bountyhive, five tweets are also needed every week. Unfortunately, at the end of the campaign even at the beginning and during campaign, there is no spreadsheet has existed, and that my friend makes me discourage about bountyhive, what if you will know that after at the end of the campaign, you have not received any rewards because you have missed or have break some of their rules during the bounty. There are a lot of possibilities and reactions if there is no spreadsheet. That is why I prefer working with spreadsheet because I can track my work. I know if I should stop or not or even continue the work.

Price of Btc is keep going down.
which one do u choose?
BTC or ETH for ICO?
[/pre]

I rather preferred Ethereum rather than Bitcoin. That eventhough to consider that bitcoin is the first cryptocurrency, and the most highly valued coin, what I will tell is its advantages over bitcoin. That is first, Ethereum is currently been used in the crypto currency market and have been producing many many ICOs and tokens for people to invest with together with some shit and some potential projects. Ethereum also has a unique feature when transfering funds because of the use of ethgasstation, to know how gwei will be used against a transfer. Ethereum is the not only one altcoin, but there are a lot of them, especially more potential.

The future of Cryptocurrency seems to be very realistic and optimistic. Because of the technology it is using, the blockchain technology, it have become popular and a potential target for investment by many individuals. Currently, bitcoin together with cryptocurrencies has been legalized by some other countries and some other countries consider it as illegal. Bitcoin will have sooner a better future, as it for now, become a medium of payment to some international stores, etc. And in the future, more and more stores to accept bitcoin.

Re: Crypto currency in five years!

on 15/06/2018, 15:34:28 UTC
Legendary investor Tim Draper is confident that in five years all will use crypto currency. According to Draper, the technological shift that we can observe now will be more significant than the transition from the Stone Age to the Bronze Age. Answering the question about how he sees the current situation in comparison with the period when he invested in the technologies of web 1.0 and 2.0, he replied that web technologies and transformed the concept of information, while blocking has the potential to transform almost all industries, including government services.

All of us have entitlement to our opinion, thus making it to exercise our right for freedom of speech. But on my opinion, these may aint not yet happening. Cryptocurrency in some countries are banned, some are legalized and some are on process of studying. Example is here in our country, the government neither endorses cryptocurrencies as illegal nor legal but are saying to the public the risks of investing in cryptocurrency because of its volatility. In fact, we cannot assure five (5) years from now the eligibility where all country will legalize it. How much of using it as a medium and use in our daily life, right?

You are right. Its to good to be true. One of the lessons I learned in the cryptocurrency industry is never listen to some of their advice from these kind of people, even though we know they are quite good in the technology or somehow they have their own specialty or genre, just like Mcafee known for his security industry contribution to the society, because at some point, they are being paid for their words. They never spread so easily words without any payment at all. Example when they actually advertise some coin. But if you do have some mentors whom you knew and helps you all the time without any reward in need, make them as a friend and thank them. But McAfee, nah make him friend but never take his advice.

With that in relation in the economy we had today, it is slowly increasing, even there are  alot of problems our country is facing today because of these people, opposition and greedy ones who once reign before, wanted the best president lately we had to resign or go to home to his beloved city. How do you feel about long-term investment? Do you see the priorities in this? What do you think is the reason for this? Where to invest in your opinion?

There are two kinds of investments, definitely, it is short term investment, which you trade for a certain period of time, maybe weeks, days, hours or even minute depending on your structure of investment, in the other hand, which we will talked about more is the long term trading, in long term trading or investment, you have no thought about this fluctuations happening in short term period, because you are in the goal of hodling it for long term ,thus making it for you to have more income rather than short-term trading, what you will only need is to properly assessing the coin you are to invest into and make a choice of investing. Always remember do not use money that you used for daily living when long term trading, use excessive assets of yours.

I have seen some news regarding hackers, terrorists, and other criminals using bitcoin for illegal trades.
How the police can find about these transactions?
Even if is hard to track illegal transactions, I don't think that Bitcoin can be a danger to society, since the problem is the society and its people.
Since the beginning of the internet this is happening ( the bad people committing crimes)  and no one is willing to shutdown internet because of that, so in that matters Bitcoin should be equivalent. I think those illegal transaction are one of the reasons some governments and the media are trying to depreciate bitcoin, but the problem is not Crypto/blockchain or Bitcoin, is just the society.

Bitcoin is decentralized and no can even control or manipulate it, through it, anyone can have it. Thus making it possible to become a medium of illegal transactions, as what I know, bitcoin is currently beem used in the darkweb, we ain't know what is happening out there but bitcoin is used in it. The main problem is the people itself, there are good and bad people existing in this planet. If bitcoin will be banned because of this, well then many will protest because even fiats are used in illegal ways. Bitcoin s purpose why it was created is for the people, so we hope that we should use it wisely.
