The developers themselves have been secretly digging for over 40 days. . . The source code and windows wallet are not released. What bullshit fair start, it's all a lie

Again same even here.

First block was generated 2021-12-02 15:06:32 utc so really its 40 years ?? or Im missing something.

Now call to Satoshi Nakamoto and tell him that start was unfair because You don't start to mine from block 1 maybe he will restart. I also do not start from early blocks but mining going well source will be soon open

Cheers

satoshi released the white paper in advance of the node, anyone could have beaten him to implementing it.  and the node was released openly with source and anyone could mine from the start, it wasn't kept private for months before anyone else could join the network.  let's just call it what it is, a 15% premine

there is some kind of issue with these asics and many pools.  I have seen on multiple pools now where hashrate is maybe 0.5TH at best and unstable, and pool side reports low difficulty shares.  it seems to work always only specifically on slushpool or something?

my apollo btc units were working fine on my preferred pool until today when suddenly it is rejecting most of the shares for 'low difficulty'.
spoke with several friends on the same mining pool with same units and they all have the same problem... scratching our heads why suddenly today this is a problem

got 2 apollo btc units today.  one is working perfectly, the second one the fan spins up but the LED in front never turns on and its never detected by usb.  any ideas? thanks

Is the second unit a full unit or a “slave” unit?

they are both standard units, plugged into a pc via usb.

Are you running as a user who has access to the device? (sudo or granting the permissions that were posted earlier in the thread.)

that was it, it was permissions.  thank you I was starting to sweat !

I just got a second hand Apollo BTC 'standard' unit, with apollo power supply.   It powered up fine, I see the red blinking lights... I have the usb attached to a raspberry pi running ubuntu 20.04 64bit, and I have the latest apollo-miner binary.   I just get this repeatedly, until it gives up:
>>> Waiting for USB /dev/ttyACM0 [1] !!!
>>> Waiting for USB /dev/ttyACM0 [2] !!!
>>> Waiting for USB /dev/ttyACM0 [3] !!!
>>> Waiting for USB /dev/ttyACM0 [4] !!!
>>> Waiting for USB /dev/ttyACM0 [5] !!!
>>> Waiting for USB /dev/ttyACM0 [6] !!!
>>> Waiting for USB /dev/ttyACM0 [7] !!!
>>> Waiting for USB /dev/ttyACM0 [8] !!!
>>> Waiting for USB /dev/ttyACM0 [9] !!!
>>> Waiting for USB /dev/ttyACM0 [10] !!!
>>> Waiting for USB /dev/ttyACM0 [11] !!!
>>> Waiting for USB /dev/ttyACM0 [12] !!!

I can see that ttyACM0 is the correct device...
[173260.253662] cdc_acm 1-1.2:1.0: ttyACM0: USB ACM device

any ideas? did I buy a bad unit somehow?
