Re: [ANN][KMD][dPoW] Komodo - Zcash Zero Knowledge Privacy Secured by Bitcoin

Any update on the next release date on iguana and the komodo windows wallet?

Windows version will be released as soon as its problem is fixed.

Little Update

All Linux & Mac users can already use our latest wallet with all the new gadgets. It doesn't have installers, but the installation process is pretty easy nonetheless.

1. Extract the files
2. Double click Iguana

Release here with release notes: https://github.com/SuperNETorg/iguana/releases/

HOWEVER: it is not thoroughly tested

Our GUI developer Satinder Grewal will be focusin 100% of his time to actual development, not to the easy install releases. Thus we are now forming a managed testing group that will help to test the versions Satinder releases, build easy installers, and then also test those. After we have validated that the easy installers work as expected we will officially release them.

If you would like to help contact @audo or @polycryptoblog on our Slack.

I have just installed this version . it's smooth . It's running very well on my Laptop win7 64bit. it's faster than old version .Thank you, KMD Teams.

yes, It looks great. How long does this project last? what can I do to take part in this project?
Which exchanges will this coin be listed ? I'm interested in this project . Thank you.

We have funding for at least 7-10 years, but I think we will be here forever as our platform will start to generate some revenue.

You can buy BTCD and send it to our ICO site where it will be swapped for KMD

No info about exchanges yet

If you want to really stay up to date you should join our Slack Smiley

Thank you for your reply , I will do it now.
Good Health to Komodo Project.

Hi guys,

I've been browsing https://coinmarketcap.com/ these days and noticed a lot of ups and downs for almost all the currencies!

I've got like 94$ to invest and I would like some advice. What currency do you suggest to invest with that will bring me 10% more in the next week? in other words, what the currency selling at low now that will cost more in the next days and is easy to sell?

I am a complete beginner!

Please advice me.

I have a suggestion about ICO Komodo Project ? it is in phase 2 for swap BTCD  you should see this link https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1605144.0  and you can decide where to invest ? Good luck to you.

Hi,
After voting please explain why you voted that!

if you invest 100K€  in bitcoin and hold it in at least 5 years or more. Once the price hits 10,000$ , that investment will be too smart for you. However, Your investment has some certain risks Do not Do not put all your eggs in one basket if you haven't got much more experiences for this fact.

On the Bitcoin.com website, he has already stated it pretty clearly

https://news.bitcoin.com/zero-knowledge-zcoin-launching-soon/

See what is written there:

Quote
Disclaimer: Bitcoin.com owner Roger Ver is invested in ZCoin.

He's also made a Zcoin subforum in Bitcoin.com and has mentioned us numerous times in interviews and Reddit posts.

https://twitter.com/zcoinofficial/status/817218278913228801
https://www.reddit.com/user/MemoryDealers/?count=75&after=t1_dbl1qu3

However as a new project, we feel we want to do some housekeeping with our coin and get it in a good state before Roger helps us out further for the best effect which we feel this is the responsible thing to do.

That is lovely coin , I have bought some coins on the bittrex exchange. All of the good information will help zcoin have stronger growth in next month.
Roger Ver is big investor in the digital currency world and he has invested his money to this coin. Why we don't follow him to get more earnings from this project.

Re: Can Bitcoin make Banks disappear?
by
Jackido
on 10/01/2017, 13:39:29 UTC
No I do not think that banks can be destroyed by the bitcoin itself, the government will indeed stop this and the banks itself also has enough power to stop this easily.

Yes, It can . if bitcoin is accepted by government , I'm sure Bitcoin can make banks disappear at one. Now. there are many people using bitcoin for payment, purchase, trading online. It's easy and fast in transaction.

I believe in the future of bitcoin. now, it has a big and strong community and now it's popular with many people in the world. it's used for payment, purchase, trading, transference as traditional currency. However bitcoin needs to become legal digital currency so that the the future of bitcoin will become more bright and it will replace fiat in the future.

Re: Will Bitcoin overcome Paypal?
by
Jackido
on 10/01/2017, 12:54:32 UTC
About the legal fact, Bitcoin can not overcome paypal at this point. Paypal is controlled by financial organizations of the government . It's like an online midde bank for purchase and payment and it helps buyers and sellers to be safe with all transaction online. Bitcoin is not still accepted by government so that bitcoin transactions are considered as illegal transactions . I expect someday, Bitcoin will be accepted by government and I'm sure bitcoin can overcome paypal in the future.

Re: can i start mining on my laptop ?
by
Jackido
on 10/01/2017, 12:15:59 UTC
Basically, mining on your laptop is not highly recommended. You must calculate how much profit you can get from mining on your laptop?
and your money collecting from that action can be enough for to repair you laptop when it's broken. That is problem you must think it carefully before mining on your laptop.

Re: Do you Still believe in Fiat?
by
Jackido
on 10/01/2017, 12:09:07 UTC
You can't not believe in fiat, it is the basis of today's society!
Whether you feel that the system is flawed and bound to fail is another question.

If that were the question I would say that I think the governments of the world are doing a good job of propping up currencies that are being printed to death.  I don't know if Crypto is the answer either, but maybe it is an answer along with commodity based/backed currencies.

That is correct. Fiat is traditional currency in the world at the present . We can not leave fiat for digital currency such as bitcoin or altcoins. People are using fiat everyday. If we want digital currency to be used as fiat, we must wait for long time to promote all people much more about digital currency. Once people know about digital currency , I believe that fiat will be gradually replace with digital currency

Re: [ANN][VRM] Verium PoWT Variable Blocktime | CPU mining | scrypt² | Commodity
by
Jackido
on 10/01/2017, 11:46:13 UTC
my gpuminer slows down when I run cpuminer. Only by about 3% but its annoying. I need my GPU to run on cpu thread #20 (which is actually thread #19 since thread #0 is actually the first thread)...

I don't know the hex value for core 20 in windows (which is actually 19 since 0 is the first "core"....Anyone know the hex value for the last core on a 20 thread system? "Core 19"??

it's not worth mining this coin. it's down all times. Dev has not any plans to develop his coin. as you know the price is decreasing everyday and it will be delisted on the bittrex exchange because of tiny volume.

I'm considering to buy more bitcoins for holding long time if bitcoin continues to decrease deeply. There were some bad rumors about bitcoin but I think it's just an old way to buy more cheap bitcoins from investors who sold bitcoin with high price and took a big profit and that is time they try to re-buy cheap bitcoins.

Re: The Big Rip theory of Bitcoin
by
Jackido
on 10/01/2017, 10:40:23 UTC
I think both options are possible, but a Big Rip like scenario seems more likely.

For a big crunch like scenario, that would need someone who has enough wealth and is also set out to destroy Bitcoin.
Even if someone like that doesn't buy 100% of all available Bitcoins (minus lost coins), if he buys a large enough majority of them, it would almost completely restrict the usage of Bitcoin.

A Big Rip like scenario is ofc the most likely, as you've explained above.

There will not be any big rip theory of bitcoin because bitcoin has got a big community behind, Bitcoin has no border and They consider bitcoin as a digital currency for purchasing, transferring and payment.  Bitcoin will be central digital currency in the near future.

Bitcoin is decentralized and it's not controlled by government, it could be used by criminals and terrorists to transfer illegal money over the internet and it's anonymous so that They can use bitcoin for laundering black money .
