Chinese have OFFICIALLY banned ICOs.
Not FUD, this was released at 3pm Beijing time.
The price at the moment I have sold most of my Neo to consolidate further losses. When Western markets react further to this it will push Neo further down and I'm not creating scare tactics. It' just the truth. Anybody saying this isn't bad news and it's good for Neo is just being delusional.

Yeah, just a few more hours to go. I still made insane profits with it since I was in it since the ANS days, just wish I sold it at the $60 region. Well hindsight is 20/20...

So my question is, does this agreement still stand and does it mean that customers will receive both coins or does it just mean that they will allow trading of the second coin?

Is gold even a good investment right now? I must admit it'd be pretty cool to have a 1KG gold or silver bar in a glass cabinet in your home.

Apologies to everyone wondering why they can't pay with cryptocurrencies but running a full
teelaunch + shopify + BitPay combo just isn't viable for just one design and would raise the price
of the merchandise higher than what I'm comfortable with, as would producing and shipping the
merch by myself. I'm also a newbie seller, so I thought that using Teespring as a sort of an escrow
would be the easiest way to prevent any sort of scamming.
I'll add more payment options if there is enough interest and I come up with some more designs.
In the meantime, if there are any owners of crypto themed shops who would like to use the design,
please contact me and I'm sure that we can come to a mutually satisfactory agreement.

Firstly, I was wondering how can you participate in the giveaway if you have your BTC on an exchange that is supported?
The website claims that: ¨If your bitcoins are located on any of the above exchanges there is no action for you to take. They will handle the process of automatically crediting your account with the appropriate amount of lumens.¨
Does that mean that EVERYONE who has BTC on a supported exchange will get their share of XLM, or will there be a process for participating in the giveaway?
Secondly, could one trade their altcoins into BTC just shortly before the giveaway in order to consequently receive a larger share of XLMs?
Could we see a rise in BTC price compared to alts, if a lot of would be doing that? The interest for the giveaway is pretty big.

Short version people are dumping Bitcoin for ETH. I don't think so. ETH crashed from 400 to 320 at around the same time and even faster. It recovered faster too.
without SegWit price is rising to the moon, currently we are close to $3000.
and the demand is strong.
now imagine when SegWit activates and all the things you said come true. no more large backlog, no more higher fees, and no more delays. first thing that will happen is that all the money that went into altcoins will come out with their bubbles bursting. second thing is people who were a bit uncertain will come back and invest. the previous growing demand is also there.
in short if price is not going to $3000 with SegWit it goes to $6000

what banks? and what exchanges? I haven't heard this theory before as a factor for the price increase of BTC.
yeah thats because it isn't true. It was happening in China, but that got resolved recently. And it wasn't inflating the price, it was keeping it down. China started helping to push Bitcoin up again when China opening back up their exchanges for withdrawals.
I think he was talking about Bitfinex. I'd say the issues are already fixed since the BTC price on finex is normal, when it was trading at a 100-200$ premium before.
