Thanks for the reply

I've just changed the engine speed to 1020 and was going to start going up in 10 , I noticed the rate in the red has increased but not the green (see photo) Which is actual speed?

I cant can't increase the TC any higher

Hi all,

I recently brought an XFX R9 280X but I'm struggling to get a desired 700+ KH/s..

http://s29.postimg.org/6wa6y5aon/cgminer.jpg

I was getting below 500 but I've since flashed the bios to the MSI one. I'm running out of ideas, I've tried under volting, overclocking etc..

Here is my config file..

"vectors" : "1",
"worksize" : "256",
"kernel" : "scrypt",
"lookup-gap" : "2",
"thread-concurrency" : "8192",

"api-mcast-port" : "4028",
"api-port" : "4028",
"expiry" : "120",
"gpu-dyninterval" : "7",
"gpu-platform" : "0",

"no-pool-disable" : true,
"queue" : "0",
"scan-time" : "1",

Any help is appreciated. Thanks

It was my laptop causing the problem or the windows install, just switched to another one and it works now.

It's a Sony Vaio and also couldn't get it working on a Dell Optiplex

I've got exactly the same problem. No detected on cgminer but only running at 1gh/s in bfgminer

If you got it to work with BFGminer then you must have at least the CP210 drivers installed, I guess.
For CGminer you will need to run Zadig. If you did, have you tried to restart the machine? I remember having had troubles there in the beginning as well.
And make sure you use cgminer from the github repository, not the "regular one", but I guess you did that?
PS: they take some time to come up to speed.

I tried the Zadig  for cgminer and rebooted etc but still wouldn't see the U1 so that's why I resorted back to bfgminer because you can add it manually.

I'm having difficulty getting mine to work. I've followed instructions to the letter but just getting no device found when running cgminer.

Running i3 laptop 64bit Windows 7 off powered USB hub (although straight into USB doesn't make a difference)

I've managed to finally get it working in bfgminer but only getting 1.0gh/s and can't understand why.

Any suggestions please?

Thanks
