I can see Viacoin as the system, LTC and BTC stored within, providing services in aspects that transcend core business functionality. This may very well be the future.

Isn't that pretty much the question for most of these coins? I want an [ANN] with substance at the bare minimum, even if you have to write it up before the pools go live. imo

Guys and girls, you do realize none of this altcoin/exchange business is an investment, it's a gamble. In fact, you can actually increase your odds with this gamble if you read a lot, and use your brain. So you guys should probably be appreciative of these daily altcoin/exchange opportunities instead of trying to rally up a mob.

While H2Ocoin now stands in the shadows of more popular altcoins, I did discover that there's a whole new level of good that can come out of cryptocurrency. I was made aware of the incredibly small percentage of people in this world without safe drinkable water and realized that we have a platform to change that. There are names in this thread and the original ANN that represent good in this era of digital currency. I respect that kind of community. =)
Without at least some major exchanges we can't build the value of this coin and use it for good by donating, but that doesn't mean that the message of this coin is has gone away. I hope this coin sticks around and continues to get mined if only as a means to spread our message. H2Ocoin can still make a difference to those who need better quality drinking water. It all starts with you.
By the way, I'd like to pass around my H2Ocoins in hopes that the new coin holders will be inspired to spread the word. Who wants some H2Ocoins? PM me, ladies and gentlemen.

I want you all to ponder on this for a bit. ASICs are Totally coming online. Take note of the kind of insane jump in overall scrypt hashrate in the last month, and the megahashes we're to see, soon.
The landscape for ASIC resistant coins is still being carved out. Some of us saw the importance of that and immediately supported initiatives like Vertcoin.
Plain GPU miners, like myself, will migrate over time.
I want to throw a shout-out to the miners who have stuck in there. We've actually kept a steady hashrate, it could totally be better, but hey, thanks!
Also, you should obviously hold your coins, but trade em if you insist - movement is better than no movement!

Here's the thing, a charity coin does sound absurd, i get that. You pump a coin, then you dump a coin, isn't that how works? Like where would charity fit into all that greed?
The short answer is it doesn't. Greed doesn't fit in with charity. Most of us here side with charity, if you side with greed just go focus on one of the many other coins out there. It's as easy as that.
Rumors of thieves and crypto crooks...If you're a good person with good intentions, you're in the right company and you're supporting the right coin.

I can say in all sincerity that I don't regret any of the time/money/effort/energy spent thus far on this project. I only plan on spending more and have even developed an interest in this particular charity, getting drinking water to those without. I honestly believe that needs to be a priority.

WOW Black Tongue! Awesome job! The innovation combined with the graphics is blowing me away! Not only do I want this coin to succeed for charitable reasons, but your hard work as well. Really inspires me seeing that post.

I'll finish my charts tomorrow and will be showcasing my "plan" to the team and to TWC this week-end and put it up for debate on IRC to know where are the strengths and where are the flaws. It should be positive from the early feedback I had when stating my ideas but I don't want to be too positive yet. Let's just hope that I'm not stupid and it will be positively seen and that good news will support the upward trend.After that (and maybe some minor changes), I will be showcasing it here, for you all to debate and express yourselves about it. It will important for you to tell me what you think and if we are heading to the right direction with it.
I also noticed that the network hashrate rose a little bit which is already a good news itself. Let's keep mining it. Thanks to all the new miners that came with their hashing power to support the coin. You will not be disappointed.
MINING MARATHON
About the giveaway, I hope that we'll pass the 3M H2O mark in order to have enough funds to start it. The problem right now is that 1.85M is good but not enough in case there is a strong response resulting in a big jump in the network hashrate. I don't want to deceive people by not being able to pay the bonuses if there is not enough H2O in the fund... There already has been fails and I don't want to hurt the coin by failing again because I rushed things... Ultimately, 4M would be perfect but it would require more donations...
I've got another 100k coins to go in the pot as well! Keep it going Black Tongue, our hashrate is already on the rise!
Keep the momentum going folks! Just like the real H2O we can carve canyons and have a real world impact. Everybody is a droplet, let's combine our efforts and surge to the top!
