Re: Coins with potential to x100?
by
Jake_Shannen
on 18/02/2018, 13:31:22 UTC
Im looking to invest in some coins where its possible to x100 its current price

I invest currently in:
ETH
NEO
ADA
XLM

Each of which is unlikely to x100
ADA / XLM such a huge supply i dont think its possible

ETH / NEO i just cant see ever reaching $100,000 / $10,000

Any thoughts?
Was thinking maybe WAVES but theres a long term gamble and its still early days for it
So minus BTC and ETh, what else could give you x 100. i think you should look for coins that still have a low price. Most probably TRON or Tether will be the coins you'll eye since these two do have a great market cap and which might give you profit when you hold.

Re: "Beginner-friendly-coins"?

Let's say you had some extra $25-50 you'd be willing to part with to gain some crypto trading experience. Which (alt) coins would you invest in to gain a bit of a profit to re-invest? I realize that's not a huge amount but hey, gotta start small, right?

Thoughts?

Let's exclude the capital that you quoted and let's just say that you'd like to buy coins as a beginner and you want to get profit. I'd suggest that you still go with ETH or BTC since these two has the highest probability of profit in short or long term. I tink, other coins require long term investment if you really want your capital to grow and of course make the amount you put in the coin reasonable. I think cardano and Verge do have potential.

Hello.

do you think it's a good time to invest in Ethereum?

Yeah, It's still a good time to invest in ETh though you could've already gotten a profit if you bought early this year when it drastically dropped. Right now, I'm still looking forward for ETh to double it's market cap but there has already been an increase this February.

Re: Which crypto news sites do you read ?

hi.

i'm Looking for recommendations to expand on the handful I currently read :-)

Instead of relying on a second hand information why not just go direct to the information board such as https://coinmarketcap.com/coins/ or ICObench. All you need to do is to really understand the terminologies used in the market so that you'd be able to make your own judgement. You could also ask hepl in this forum. This forum is already a dynamic database for investors and consumers.

🔻 When the cryptocurrency market is experiencing great fluctuation, what will you do?
🔻 Go on with your investment or sell it off?

Facing such situation, not everyone can make a proper decision to turn this to their advantage.
The controversial emergence of Bitcoin has brought with it many disagreements about its future and other cryptocurrency. Despite its recent issues, Bitcoin has gained considerable success since 2009 and has paved the way for altcoins like Litecoin, Ripple and MintChip… A cryptocurrency that aims at entering the mainstream financial system will be required to meet various criteria.

✳ Though it may sound like a far future, there’s little doubt that the upcoming success or failure of Bitcoin will make great changes to the faith of other cryptocurrencies.

I've gotten a bit  of the trend now and understood the opportunity may it be depression or hike. Depression means that opportunities are open to buy new coins, while hike is an indication of circumstances when you can sell and profit.

Where and how would you invest 1m dollars? What coins will you buy? Or will Huh you just put them in Bank? Huh Wink

If i do have 1m$ i would've already bought BTC and hold it for long term. I'm sure it will be multiplied. I could also invest on VERGE, or Waves which seems to be really doing great this year. If i have it now, I'd still buy BTC because i believe there will still be a good pump for this year.

Re: I lost over 80k because i sold too early (newbie mistake)

A while ago i went all in ZClassic and bought about 365 Coins when the price was about 2$ per coin, but i decided to sell a couple of days after.
Two weeks later zclassic mooned and i could make about 80k now.

i learned my lesson in the hard way..

I think it's  more of a missed opportunity than actually losing any money. You lost the chance to to get profit. There's great lesson here, and that's to always have faith in your coin specially if you've done a thorough research about it. All coins do have the potential to really moon which will give a greta profit.

If you find a Project or ICO that looks scammy, what steps do you take to warn the community? Do you just ignore and go on to the next one?

Actually you could report it here just make sure about your claims and really research if it is really a scam. You can  post about it here making all the people in the community aware of it. Keep the threat alive  by checking on it and replying on the inquiries posted as replies.

Re: Bitcoin vs Ethereum?
by

on 17/02/2018, 18:25:47 UTC
Bitcoin and Ethereum are two of the most popular digital coins today. In terms of value, bitcoin is much larger than ethereum, but in terms of potential, ethereum is quite capable of dealing with bitcoin. So you think which one is better?

BTC is still far from ETH. I think what you accurately mean is that ETH is simple one of the best altcoins out there. IN terms of profit, you'll still get higher profit if you invest on BTC for long term due to it's demand and price hikes.

What do you think about $ADA,
I see total supply this coin is = 24 billion, and so hard to make this coin grow, this coin very crazy

i think it's really a challenge to invest in cardano but actually it is in great spot right now being invested on which posts a lot of potential profit for those who really had faith in it and held it for a long time. If it just pumps from 0.4-10/20 $ it will be a great opportunity for the holders.

Re: AIRDROP the new opportunity for Jr members..
by

on 17/02/2018, 17:58:36 UTC
we all know that some bounties do require higher rank right now, for Jr. members like  me i think airdrop is the new opportunity to get extra profit. Cheesy

There are still a lot of bounties available for JR. members, even on social media you can join.
airdrop is a way of earning free money it is an opportunity for all to do all at the same time to keep you busy and your time worth.
As Theymos remove signatures for jr. members some of the bounties are still accepting jr. member and you can still hit a jackpot if you will just keep looking for a great bounty.

I really appreciate high ranks helping us out. I'm really worried that i wouldn't be able to join any bounty since i am just a beginner, having said that there are still signature campaigns available for us really kept my hopes up. I also don't want to chase merits.

Re: Invest in altcoin still worth?

Look like the Btc is unstoppable, have sense invest in altcoin in this 2 month? Anyway wich alcoin can have a better growth (exept fork) then Bitcoin?

Maybe what you mean is that " what other coins could give you profit aside from BTC?" Actually right now, I'm eyeing TenX. if you really want to go and risk for new coins find those that are cheap and  following a great trend but you need to note that the growth of BTC is still substantially bigger than those potential altcoins.

Bitcoin or Ethereum, Which of these coins will rule in 2018?

If what you mean is the number one, well i'll still go with btc. Regardless, ETH will still be a significant player this year and as always will be profitable. May it be BTC ot ETh, it will surely be profitable for us. What's really essential is when will be the pump just like what happened last year.

Re: Do you truly believe in cryptocurrency
by
Jake_Shannen
on 10/02/2018, 17:00:49 UTC
Seems like most people just want to become super rich in a short period of time.
If you don't believe in this new technology, and just want to earn quick money, I think you will probably not achieve what you want.
All I want to say is be patient, live your life, and don't get too emotional by all the negative news/FUD. Yes, crypto might be ended in a really bad way and you lose most/all your money. But if you truly believe in the new technology, just invest the projects you like the most and hold until it gets mature and returns.

I kinda get what you're saying but actually it's not about believing in crypto rather it's about supporting it. in a way if you focus on doing bounty or you try to invest having "only" profit in mind you automatically support and contribute to it but at a minimal or just required coverage. Unlike if you really try to understand the process and really know the cycles  of things and construct good reviews which is essential in helping other people in the community.

Re: Alt coins worth buying
by
Jake_Shannen
on 10/02/2018, 16:00:28 UTC
I've been reading through this forums for the past few weeks and all I see is "this coin is dead" or "everything is a shit coin". Is there any alt coin with potential to invest in or is it only bitcoin? I don't mean like a few here and there, I mean over 100 coins.

Actually there are a lot of these coins to which you coud invest in, but if you are really looking for a coin from the scratch well that's a bit challenging and it requires a lot of knowledge to decide the potential of a certain coin. you could refer to the crypto market or you could search for reviews about several ico's to which you will get a specific token. Ox is a good coin.

Re: Is it Ripple buy time?

What do you think, Is it Ripple buy time?
If your answer is yes, then want to know the target around 2018 (almost one year).
If I invest 2k$ on it, how much I can get back from this?

I still don't think so. There are so many veterans that says ripple is already a stagnant coins since it has already been left by the the team that supports it. I think it's manageable for short term investment but if you plan to hold it for long term then that is a big risk for you.

Are you picky with ICOs?

i think there's a better term that "picky." Well in the first place its is your money at stake so you should really take care of it and set some standards in investing it. What's very important is  to really do your research before making decisions. If "picky" means this, well i am picky

To day is bad day for me. I have lost my 10,897 ETN. somenone transferred  10897 etn to other etn id hacking my account.  My email password is still ok. I can not believe it how is it possible. Please give me suggestion how to get back my stolen etn.

The only way this could be done is if they know your private address. You might've entered your private key to a website that is fake and actually targets coins. This also happened to my friend. So we need to be careful in using our private keys.

Who uses this wallet? - https://www.myetherwallet.com/
What say about him?

I like Using myetherwallet because first it is easy to use and it has several ways to assure that you can access as long as you are the one who created the account. The only threat to this is if you unwittingly shared  your private address. Just make sure that you are in the right website becuase there are cases where the website asks for a private address.
