I'm not OC and am using a RX 580/8g that had no problems with ETH. After 4 days PM is now reporting almost HALF are incorrect shares, but ETC.org only shows a couple stales and NO Incorrects??

Also on Win 10, using PM 5.9d

I couldn't get mine to work till I added "ssl://" to the URL, and (or) did -coin etc.

Works, but I'm getting 1/3 Invalid Shares for some reason, ugh!

For RX 580 I would recommend you to use driver version 21.3.2 or older.

Thanks! I got my 580 and my friends 2x570s on it and they are both goin pretty much full speed and after 10 hrs mine has NO stales!!

I have a potato Asus PCIe2.0 with a RX580 8g (I7 12g ram) (driver fixed)

I'm finally using W10 after 7 was only giving me 1/3 hash I should have for a year (yes, I'm stubborn)

now, I'm getting the 28+hash I should have had instead of 8-9 at least, but...

I'm on 5.9d AND 21.11.3, but still have to use ckernal 0 to get it to work and that gives me abt 7-10% stales!

Is this normal? Even with the low hash before I never had this high a stale rate, and didnt have to use the ck0 until recently (on my old miner version with no NEW win 7 updates or drivers)

I'm on W7, trying to avoid 10 if possible. My install discs are 90 mins away, so I'm not doin that right now lol.

And I'm on stock BIOS and physical switched to mining mode, and checked both BIOS to be sure they are correct.

PCI2 2 is prob the case why it's not running fully, I'd just like conformation.

Like when I first got it, I tried playing the reboot RE2, and it wouldn't run worth a crap, so, it's a sign I should have noticed.

When this computer was new, it was a top of the line AVID edit machine, but that was like 08 or 09, so it's been a while. The only reason I'm on it now is my half as old computer bit the dust suddenly, so I'm kinda stuck. I didn't try any games on the old one btw, so no benchmark there either.

I have some coins, if only Doge could hit like $2 ea, I'd take 1/4 and build a new one lol. (well, 2, one to mine and one for me!)

Yes, I've tried everything. First off, compute mode does not appear in MY ATI settings, IF it even fully launches! It gets stuck and have to shut down and reboot. I'm on 21.24.1, so it should be there, and I looked on a computer running a RX470, and it was there, so I know where it is. I can set it with some program I found from somewhere, AND I have my script in PM do it to when it launches, and that does nothing. (I've tried the mining driver, and a doz others and still nothing changes it)

I've OC and UV'd, and that helps a bit, but only from low 9s to sometimes high 9s.

I've also tried some BIOS mods that were custom made for my card and those just shut everything down after a few seconds, and no, not heat related as it never got above 55c.


I just checked your mobo and it has "PCI Express 3.0 x4 M.2", so, thanks for the try, but that does not answer my question about PCIe 2.0 mobo being my issue.

Maybe someone with an old moldy potato with PCIe 2.0 and a RX 580 can try to replicate, or has had this happen can chime in?

I have nothing to compare it to since I just started last month.

But I'm having problems even getting over 15MH on my XFX RX-580! I usually run about 9ish.

It's on an old ASUS P6T-SE which is PCIe 2.0 but GPU-Z says 580 can run on a PCIe 3.0.

Could that be why its not working as hard as everyone elses 580s, or has anyone had 20+MH on an old MOBO with this card?

BTW, unMinable runs at almost 15MH, which would be ok, but where is the even close to the 30 MH it's supposed to get??

well, "I" never said it was safe, and now know better, others here had looked at it and thought it was.

And yeah, it does reek, so whatever can be done should be. Maybe contact the .org ppl and tell them?

I have issues getting my hash up to full speed!

RX580 with all sorts of drivers, latest being 21.5.1 and PM 5.6d on Win7

It runs at about 9.3MH, (rated at 30-34) and never above that on the ethermine.org pool. (I havent tried other pools yet as I want at least one payout for all the time spent doing this so far.

I tried drivers from 2019, 2020, and even the Blockchain one most recently, but it just kicks out the program, and tells me the GPU is stopped or paused when I try to force an auto speed test.

I have undervolted and overclocked with MSI, (CC 1175/MC 2150/ CV-100) but could not get any BIOS to work right either, so I'm leaving that alone for now too.

It does get shares, but I feel like it could do much better!

 I really dont want to move to win 10, as you may understand.

I found that site about a month ago, and used their program for a couple weeks before I found the real deal here!
