Yes, there is always need for new altcoins as creating new coins/tokens with different functions is a fuel for blockchain technology progress. We don't know all of blockchain usage unless we develop this technology in all ways we can imagine.

If you are joining all the airdrops that are avaible at the moment you will get yourself into a scam or two for sure. But you will get also in valuable airdrops aswell so all in all will get you profit.

I think you should go for both. Airdrops will give you lots of to tokens that are worth nothing (but some might go to the moon in the future) and bounties will require you to do some work but tokens might be worth something when you get them.

If you are a trader and want to speculate over crypto world it is better to keep your coins at the exchange. Keeping it at exchange also help you sell it at the take profit price you want. However if you intend to keep your coins long term probably wallet is best option (safety).

Market cap will continue to fall down in 2018 year. Still I recommend keeping your crypto into 2019 when bullish trend may start again.

2018 will be bearish year in my opinion. Let's hope that 2019 will give modest gains.
