After looking more into this I'm now understanding how stellar works... but I'm not understanding how I can get my SPICE to be tokenized/wrapped and issued to my XLM address... ? Because from what I'm seeing here there is no way for this to happen without me sending my SPICE to whoever owns the issuing account and then they issue me the XLM token?

Re: Moolah Scam on Mintpal - Reporting Missing Coins
by

Does anyone have any updates on this saga?

The story seems to have gone dark after Kennedy was imprisoned for rape,
but the coins he stole are now worth almost $250 Million USD and he is still potentially liable for the theft.

I'd like to hear from anyone who knows what is going on; I've emailed the various law enforcement contacts
found listed in the threads over the years, to no avail.

Thanks for any info, I'm willing to offer a nice bounty to get my coins back!

Still getting occasional progress report letter from the liquidator saying they're working on it, last I knew there were only between 30-40 verified creditors that were owed on the list... I'm fairly certain in typical lawyer fashion they're just dragging their feet at this point to run up their cut of the funds if they eventually recover anything

Can someone post some working nodes?
Currently my wallet is connected to only one (94.83.225.136) and cannot sync.

Anyone has synced wallet?

94.83.225.141:44100

122.59.34.201:44100

164.68.101.222:44100

Are there any plans to get listed again on some of the smaller exchanges?

Could try to get listed on unnamed.exchange ... the current fee is apparently only 0.05BTC and no daily volume requirements apparently

I appreciate all the bootstrap files from everyone. I am having trouble getting the wallet to actually stay open long enough for it to import the entire file. Would anyone mind just zipping their data file so that we dont have to import via bootstrap. I don't think the wallet is up to the task. My computer is not slow by any means and after two days, the wallet decides to crash (This has happened multiple times). This wouldn't be a problem if it didnt corrupt the data, resulting in assertion errors. It will not reindex either, so I am forced to just start over. Thank you in advance.

I have exactly same issues.
I have tried countless times on both a clean Win7 and Win 10 PC, and if you sync from scratch you have better results BUT usually takes over a week. If you use bootstrap just crashess everytime.

IF i ever get synced i will zip you my folder, but to be honest, even when fully synced, i find the wallet just crashes, and dont even bother trying to mine to it...

The wallet def needs an update to address these issues....either that or the source needs updating so it can be easily compiled on say Ubuntu20, Mint 19, etc....then at least it may encourage more newbies to try it.

J

It kept locking up the first time I was trying to sync, I had to repeatedly restart the client... what I ended up doing was just added the UTC client to my windows startup folder and let it run in the background

Re: Minerium Coin SCAM
by
Jarod1231

New Minerium coin (rip off of old project) is a scam and the developer consistently dodges questions and has no real project just a blockchain and is on his way to scamming up to 4 BTC from his presale on erex.io. BEWARE of https://mineriumcoin.com/

Which is the old project ? The name seems awfully close to minereum ( probably the intention) .  As minereum v2 just launched so probably just someone looking to profit from the simillarity in names.
Definite scam, the dev is washtrading on livecoin and taking advantage of low liquidity to pump the price and trick people into paying him 0.5 ETH or more to "upgrade" their account so they can access the tokens that were "airdropped" to their ETH wallet...  It will take 50+ years for all the coins in your wallet to be unlocked... In 50+ years the ETH you spent will be worth significantly more than this shitcoin scam. Any time you point out that this is a scam inside the announcement thread the dev deletes your posts. DO NOT BUY THIS CRAP, DO NOT SEND THE DEV YOUR ETH TO "UPGRADE" TO LEVEL 2/3 ... THIS IS A SCAM AND YOU WILL NEVER RECOVER YOUR MONEY.

How then to get rid of this token? I have other coins in my wallet, how can I get rid of it and not lose the rest? help me please

The way I understand it the only options are sell your address via the Minerium website, which no doubt costs a fucking fee that goes straight to the scamming DEV, or pay the DEV 0.5 ETH to "upgrade your account" and slowly have the coins unlocked over the next 50+ years. Neither option is appealing to me.

Guys what is this kindertrading we see on livecoin. The prices are like at 45cent per coin but it's enough to sell like 1000 coins, the price drop straight by 50%. There is hardly any buyers on the market but the prices are gone up like crazy. This price increase is totally useless, and will end up in 90% correction with massive hit against the trust MNE managed to achieve to date.
Devs washtrading on the only exchange this shitcoin traded on, this is a P&D scam

So. Basically, ~£500 worth of crypto shows up in your account.
You do some digging and find the minerium website that says you can transfer your minerium at lvl 3. But. To get to lvl 3 you need to pay 0.3ETH. Then you get to lvl 3 and find out you cant do anything with the MNE in your wallet, that is just a placeholder showing you what you "could" have if you stay at lvl 3 and self mine for 50 years.
Why does useless MNE (the tokens that you cant do anything with) have a value in the first place? Theyre not tokens, theyre not coins, theyre not actual objects. Theyre projected possible earnings. Theyre a target. Theyre pointless and misleading.
At current mne prices, (assuming self mining of 2 MNE per day) thats 4.5 years (ish) just to make back the 0.3 ETH that you pay to upgrade..
Not entirely convinced this isnt a scam to be honest.

They have a value of $0.00, not $500.
MNE (Minerieum 1.0) is a completely separate ETH token that is traded on livecoin, if you had received 32,000 MNE in your account you would be able to send those tokens to the livecoin exchange and sell them.
You received 32,000 MNEv2 (Minerieum 2.0) tokens, which cannot be sent to livecoin and sold because it is not the same thing as MNE, despite what anyone in this thread might claim.
Since you cannot transfer MNEv2 to any exchange and sell it, it has a value of $0.00 and should be claimed as such.

MNE Contract: https://etherscan.io/token/0x1a95b271b0535d15fa49932daba31ba612b52946
MNEv2 Contract: https://etherscan.io/token/0xc92e74b131D7b1D46E60e07F3FaE5d8877Dd03F0

NOT the same thing.

Livecoin exchange is already active on the mne v2 smart contract since 2 days, also etherscan is update.

Everything what you said is wrong based on this ;-)

Livecoin news announcement: https://www.livecoin.net/m/en/news/view/473

New MNE v2 address: https://etherscan.io/token/0xc92e74b131D7b1D46E60e07F3FaE5d8877Dd03F0

Okay fine, I was wrong about livecoin being on a different contract. But I'm still right about you not being able to transfer the 32,000 MNE to livecoin. This shit is a scam if I ever saw one, devs airdrop $500 worth of shittoken to people that didn't ask for it, in turn creating a tax liability with the IRS for those people... but they aren't able to access that $500 without paying devs $50 and waiting 50 years for that $500 to be mined. Kindly go fuck yourself, I'm not sending you anything.

You are missing the point, no one forces you to upgrade anything, that is optional and you can set your address for sale for free.

Read this message that is in the telegram group pinned message:

👉 If you have a Genesis Address with 32,000 MNE you have 4 options:
1. Set Your Address For Sale: https://www.minereum.com/howto#setforsale
2. Upgrade to Level 2 (mining starts): https://www.minereum.com/howto#upgrade
3. Upgrade to Level 3 (mining starts & transfers allowed): https://www.minereum.com/howto#upgrade
4. Do nothing (your coins won't be mined, nothing will happen)

No, you're missing the point.
I don't want to sell my fucking address, it is my main ether wallet and it is a ledger.
I don't want to "upgrade" and spend ETH to mine something over the next 50 fucking years where its highly improbable that I would ever even recover my losses.
What you're failing to understand is that if the IRS audits me, this stupid fucking airdrop is going to cause me problems because they are going to want a list of all my wallet addresses and all they are going to see is "Well the explorer says you have 32000 MNE and thats worth X amount of money... You need to pay taxes on it! ... at which point I will have to spend MY OWN MONEY to hire someone to argue with the IRS over it.

Every scenario and everything to do with this shitcoin scam will do nothing but COST ME TIME AND MONEY despite the reality of I didn't want this fucking airdrop to begin with.

Currently the only way we have to destroy Genesis Addresses is this way:

https://www.minereum.com/howto#destroy

Unfortunately it required the address to be upgraded to Level 3, but we will plan to implement a new function to destroy any type of Genesis Address.

The problem is that by the system today, Genesis Addresses can only be destroyed to buy Stakes, and that requires the addresses to be upgraded to level 3. This is the only work around we have at this moment. We do not encourage your to upgrade your address to Level 3 because of that, just letting you know that there is a way.

This is what I'm complaining about... you're saying the only way to opt out of this fucking shitcoin is to pay you money? Other than that the only options are to spend my own time and money to transfer EVERYTHING I hold to a new ETH address or spend my own time and money to argue with the IRS.

NO, FUCK OFF WITH THIS SCAM.

What is the transaction speed on the Phore network?

Most blockchains have no future due to the long transaction processing time.

Usually my transactions go through in 1-5 minutes, I'm pretty sure after Synapse is released it will be much much faster though
