The most important thing for bitcoin is the mass adoption. If most people use bitcoin and blockchain governments will need to legalize it.

This is why we are solving one of the worlds biggest issues (cost of living)

The average user shouldn't need to understand what the blockchain is or how it works.
They need to use it to better their lives, just like cars, the internet etc.

This is why we ( https://MaxData.io ) are solving one of the worlds biggest issues (cost of living) using blockchain technology.

would love to hear community feedback on our project.

Thanks

Mass Adoption of Blockchain Technology
by

Hey Blockchain enthusiasts.

I want to introduce you to our project, MaxData.io
We are building a platform that will bring blockchain technology to the masses.

What do we do:
MaxData is the first reverse bidding marketplace where service providers find and pay consumers using blockchain technology.
Using the MaxData platform, consumers anonymously provide information regarding the services they are looking for,
allowing service providers to see exactly what offers consumers will be interested in. Service providers can then craft
a tailor-made offer to send consumers, while saving time and money on their acquisition efforts. These savings allow
service providers to drastically lower consumers’ cost of living by reducing prices for services (such as insurance, communication, utilities or financial services).
MaxData’s platform effectively saves businesses and consumers billions of dollars a year.

Looking forward to feedback from the community.

Re: What is the price of BTC in 10 years?
by
Jaron80
on 27/01/2018, 07:19:27 UTC
The price depends on supply and demand like everything.
As can be seen as so far the price of bitcoin has been strongly correlated on the nr of accounts that hold bitcoin.

The question is what will bitcoin ultimately be used for. Payments / Loans / Equity / Derivatives?
If its just payments it will be a part of a 90 trillion dollar supply
If it includes everything it will be a part of a several quadrillion dollar global market

There are many alternatives to bitcoin today but bitcoin is still the most widespread and distributed currency.
If it will remain this case looking at history we can expect 90% of the other coins to disappear.

Expect it to fly high if it stays the big gun.

Bitcoin is currently an investment and like every investment never invest money that you cannot loose.

Eventhough in the last year it was a great investment one setback can put you in a whole heap of troubles.

Ripple is more bank oriented,

I believe in Raiblocks, their tech can change the world of micropayments:

0 fees
Near instant
No scaling issues

If you are new to crypto consider what you want to achieve:

If you want more solid investments that will grow over time:

E.g. Bitcoin, Ethereum, Ripple

Or you are looking for alt coins that have room to explode but could also drop like crazy:

E.g.  Raiblocks (currently high in polls to enter binance) / IOTA / Lumens / Tron

Hey All,

Who believes bitcoin dominance will fall to 20% in 2018?

With the strong rise of Ripple Ethereum Cardano Iota and more will it change the playing field?

and if you believe it which currency could take over the #1 from bitcoin?
BTC dominance has fallen to 37% from 70% since last 1 months itself. This is a sign that major altcoins are overshadowing the importance of bitcoin. But does this means end of bitcoin? I don't think so. Its low merely because the price of bitcoin is falling and investors feel it is better to invest in other options like IOTA and XRP which have much more potential grow than to invest in BTC.

Yeah XRP is probably entering on Binance (there is a vote on it https://www.binance.com/vote.html) so if it enters it probably will shoot up.

Who believes bitcoin dominance will fall to 20% in 2018?

How do you measure "dominance"? What does "fall to 20%" represent? Fall to 20% of what?

With the strong rise of Ripple Ethereum Cardano Iota and more will it change the playing field?

I am talking about bitcoin dominance on the total crypto market.
At the start of the month bitcoin dominated the crypto market cap with 65%.
Today the dominance has fallen to 38%.

Fork - Fork - Fork it's Christmas
by
Jaron80
on 24/12/2017, 13:53:18 UTC
Hey All,

I was wondering what is going on with all the forks this month.
Is this going to have a negative impact on Bitcoin?

Bitcoin Diamond.
Lightning Bitcoin (LBTC)
Bitcoin God (GOD)
Bitcoin SegWit2X (B2X)
Bitcoin Uranium (BUM)
Bitcoin Cash Plus (BCP)

Also as far as i understand in most cases you can claim the new currency as well.
I read on internet you need to give your private key in order to receive the coins in different exchanges.
As i don't want to give any private keys i wonder if it is true or people are trying to scam money from others.

thanks

Re: The whales are cashing out
by
Jaron80
on 21/12/2017, 13:03:31 UTC
Some of the whales might cash out but due to the nature of bitcoin most big stakeholders will stay.

Although the meteoric rise in a lot of alt coins is a sign people are diversifying into different currencies,
moving billions of dollars from crypto to fiat is extremely difficult.
