Anyone still Mining with GPU. #@lternative rather to sell #
We all know mining with GPU for BTC or LTC or any Scrypt or SHA is not at all profitable. The person already having 3X R9 280 or 290 had invested a lot. Some can't switch to ASIC after such investment and a worst case scenario. Selling for very low rate is not a deal. Any Idea how to make out Return from those fallen ones. Experience shared will be highly appreciated. Any altcoin,or other.........

6990 fans seem to be toggling due to over-use . You can oil the fans , it seems to help .

The device is not detected properly in device manager. I am having TX 750 PSU. Fans are toggling to 100% then 10% for 5 seconds and this continue. CGMIner not detecting 6990 but 6850 only.

I am making my 2nd Rig. The problem is I connected my 6850 on the 16X slot and I installed the latest catalyst. When I connect 5770 it detects it mines also. But when I connect my 6990 only Microsoft based driver activate in Device Manager. Sometimes the screen freezes during booting windows. I was using 1x to 16X powered riser for both 5770 and 6990. Do I need dummy plug?

I think highkart offer cloud based mining, but they also use an external pool. I dont think there is any mining pool based out of India. I would love to hear of any, maybe focus my mining power to them!

Thanks for your suggision . In case I am Not looking at efficiency and Power consumption. Which Cards will give more hashrate in terms of Card price? I want to make cheapest possible side rig with non efficient Cards . I can accommodate 2 x16 and one 1X card slot.

In terms of investment what i calculated is if I have to invest 35 K the maximum SHA256 hashes 15MH/s which on the other hand is not too profitable also in the worst case scenario i.e sell it for 2nd hand. On the Other hand Using 2 Nos. R9 270X and Overclock them to meet 1200 KH/s (Scrypt) and mine LTC is profitable.
Since the difficulty of BTC is Higher than LTC.
Please suggest . I need your expert Advice.

Try the new Nvidia GTX 750 Ti / Ti Boost. It only gives you 250-280 Khs per card so you will have to put more cards in, BUT
Its priced at 10k and the kicker is 60W power utilization.
The Khs/Rs is equivalent to the AMD cards but at the Khs/W ratio is amazing.

If electricity is not an issue . what will you people suggest.I will go for 280X and 270X one each to reach 1000 khash/s . Any coin preference that will be profitable in current scenario .?
